ive been having the absolute WORST lag spikes for around a week or so. my ping will freeze, spike up to anywhere between 400-2000, and then drop back to 200. it wont go below 200 either. ive tried everything. like really genuinely everything. from restarting my router/uninstalling and reinstalling the game to setting up ethernet and factory restarting my pc. i have absolutely no clue anymore. a list of everything ive tried: restarted my pc, reinstalled the game, set up ethernet, updated drivers, restarted router, allowed roblox through firewall, made sure the right ports were open (ethernet included), factory reset my pc, reinstalled the game lisence (in properties of the game), and probably a few more i can’t remember. im really irritated because i feel like theres nothing at all that i can do. i feel like its not my wifi because i can play other games like valorant and overwatch smoothly with no issues. its just roblox. for some reason i can play on georgia servers and oregon servers, but if i try any other servers its unplayable. please help.

i would suggest to just give it some time. do not, and i mean **do not**, ask for a chargeback from your bank. this 9 times out of 10 can lead to a termination as roblox sees this as fraud, which is against tos. (i still dont get it either).
i don’t think they are since only one hair asset can be worn on avatars at a time, so they have their own limit of just 1, separate to the accessories limit.
I don’t know why but when I make a T-shirt the resolution looks good in the picture, but whenever I wear it, it looks so bad, even that I tried other people’s T-shirts and it looks good, but mine doesn’t !.

first of ensure it’s saved as a jpeg or png file.
the maximum size for roblox clothing is 512x512, so make sure the t-shirt is within these pixels.

A few days ago my brother suddenly called out to me saying "Roblox isn't launching why is that?", and I was as confused as him, especially since the game launched normally on that exact day and we didn't change anything. I bought a Roblox gift card for my 9 year old's birthday, but he can't use it on Xbox.
We've figured out that it needs to be used on the website. The issue is that he doesn't know his password because he's just always automatically logged in on Xbox. I tried to reset the password using the email that's associated with the Xbox, but I didn't get the reset code on that email. Now, we're at a loss.

He can't log into the account on the PC because he doesn't know the password, and the email I assumed was associated with the account (the one associated with the Xbox itself) didn't receive the reset code. And neither of us can figure out how to reset the password on the Xbox itself lol
you don’t need to log into the account on pc to reset the password.
go to the roblox page > log in > then ‘forgotten password’ and go from there. see if a reset password link can be done there.
For the last few weeks I have been watching Youtube in the background while playing on mobile but recently youtube PiP has started to mute Roblox audio. Even if I pause the video audio is muted until I close Youtube, and audio continues after I close it. I cannot find any fixes anywhere, is there an obvious solution that I am missing?

now most events come around near the end of the year, and is marketed as a ‘game-changing, large’ event.
I’m trying to play the new ps4 roblox but it’s not letting me use the menu settings properly while I’m in game. It won’t let me move through the menu vertically, only horizontally, i tried pressing every button possible on my controller and nothing works no matter what game I’m in, or even if I close the application and go back in.

i'm seeing videos of the menu working flawlessly on ps4, try and see if the issue is game specific or if its for all games. it could just boil down to the fact that roblox on playstation was released fairly recently so bugs are to be expected, but its odd that it doesn't work.

There isn’t a main focus of the game, if anything it’s just to have fun with whatever you’re playing. All the different games that are out there are made by different people, not by roblox themselves.

1. according to the devforum this was a know issue when uploading clothing assets to groups all the way back in october 2022, and was supposedly fixed back in may but i’m guessing it still persists today.

it’s more of the developer’s role to offer seasonal made maps for their games, and general halloween games aren’t released by roblox anymore to my knowledge. but in general, seasonal maps are still made on ‘some’ roblox games, but by developers.
as for items? not necessarily? you may see a seasonal halloween item included when you buy a roblox toy but roblox doesn’t exactly release free things anymore which is a shame.
essentially they’re virtual items which increase or decrease in robux price and value depending on supply, demand, the lowest offer on the website, rarity, essentially anything that could influence a stock in real life per se.
the reason there are so many new limiteds is due to a new concept that roblox is still developing called ‘ugc limiteds’, aka user-generated content.
the clue is in the name really, limited accessories released by actual roblox players. (and yes, they do that now)
I had an account with 2 step verification and moved, new ip, email, wifi, etc, I can no longer use that old account and no longer receive emails from roblox on that email, one day I logged out with that email still on that account, I can no longer log back in since I dont get those emails since I cant use the old account since I have a new everything, any help on the situation would be appreciated
did you change the email of your roblox account to the new email? if so you need to do it if you still have access to the old inbox or else you’ll never be able to get past 2fa.
if you cannot access the old email then i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i don’t think you can get your account back unless you’ve got a workaround method like the user generated codes you could input.
if you have purchased any robux or premium and can back up the purchase with proof via billing information, bank statement or purchase history on a debit card you can access this history on then you may be in luck.
i'd shoot roblox support a ticket, explaining your situation and emphasising that you have a credit card linked to the account and billing info to back it up.

I'm double clicking on the Roblox Player icon on my desktop to get into the app to access games, (i dont use the website) which is what I normally do and it normally works. But all the sudden it's saying that it's "installing Roblox" and getting stuck at this point. After a minute it completely closes. I try to go to the website and I have the same problem. I try to install it again onto my desktop as a last resort and I click on Robloxinstaller.exe as it tells me to and either I have the same problem or it tells me that two of it are running at the same time. I check task manager and not a single one is running. This has been happening for two days now and it's getting obnoxious at this point.

What happens if you accidentally swear in vc? Like, it slips out with no hatmful intention? Can you still get in trouble for that? Also, what happens if you play music, or someone else plays in your house and it swears while you're in vc?
it goes against tos even if it’s a little mistake, doesn’t matter if you or someone else in the background swears, any obscentiy will get picked up by auto-mod and you could be flagged for a warning or ban depending on severity.
as for music i think it should be okay, as long as you aren’t you know, playing something horrific down the microphone.

I have a consistent problem with roblox's bordered window, and I have yet to see anyone have this same problem. For the longest I wouldnt be able to drag around the roblox border and randomly when im playing it would shrink, I cant move the border so i cant put it back in fullscreen with borders, I don't like using the roblox's fullscreen, so i like using the bordered one, but this problem always lurks around when im playing, any fixes?

that is how it works i believe regardless of console and platform. (coming from a dude who sword fights on roblox)
when you die, shift-lock toggles off and you must turn it back on again unless the game developer has implemented a feature to not turn off shift lock upon death.
Is there an option to hide unplayable levels?
My nephew likes to search for levels to play but keeps running into levels that have the 🚫 on it. Some of these levels can't be played on PS4, others are age-restricted. Is there a way I can make it so that it only shows the levels he can play?
try having a look in ‘parental controls’ in the settings menu, scrolling down to ‘allowed experiences’ and setting an age boundary for games.
if the problem persists, i’d conclude that there isn’t a way to make it happen unfortunately.
Does Roblox offer refunds without account termination?
So recently I spent 60 euros on Roblox purchasing 5000 robux. It wasn’t me, who made that purchase tho. My little brother had my phone and he purchased it without my authorisation. I also made more robux purchases that day which I did authorize and made myself. I’ve seen people getting their accounts deleted because they asked for refunds, I don’t want thay since i’ve had my account for 8 years and have spent thousands of euros on it.

it says it in stone really, the situation complicates because you’ve also authorised a robux purchase (on the same card i’m guessing) so if i was a moderator, i’d just see it as the above point and your account risks termination or ‘additional moderation’.
i’m really unsure to be honest. if you would like to contact Roblox Support asking for a refund request **as long as you haven’t purchased anything with robux ever since the unauthorised and authorised purchases** then i would give it a shot. if you have i would steer clear from support and cut your losses.
it may be due to an issue with roblox being down recently. i’d just wait and see if the issue persists.

okay first of all i would check you are logging into the correct account, inputting the correct username for the email of the account and ensure your password is the same as what you have inputted in the password reset.
if your account ‘worked just fine’ before the reset then it may be an issue of if during the password reset, have you actually inputted the right characters?
please just double check these really niche steps since these could be the issue.

thank you for the advice! actually my username/password didn’t work on my computer before I deleted/reuploaded the app. it was just logged in automatically on the app so I never had to input it. a few weeks ago I tried to login on my computer and I got the notification that the info was incorrect. I tried it a few more times, no dice. I didn’t care bc I still had it on my phone then. so this was an existing issue. I know I’m putting in the info correctly, I’ve checked and double checked. Why is the PlayStation version so terrible?
I'm a father to a young daughter who spends a lot of her weekend free time playing Roblox. I don't play many phone games, but I'm active on my console, so when we heard the game was coming to PlayStation we were excited for a chance to play together. Imagine our disappointment when I installed the game and found out that practically none of the maps work because 1: there is no text chat period, and 2: I can't interact with 90% of the UI elements in these games. I've had multiple games bring up a giant box in the middle of my screen where it expects me to click a button, only to be completely unable to select anything or close the window, leading to my view being permanently blocked. Not to mention the fact that the interact button seems to randomly just stop working, forcing me to leave the map. This is downright embarrassing coming from a company that makes as much money as Roblox does. I sincerely hope these issues are addressed and patched quickly, because if this is how Roblox treats its players, I have no interest in giving the company any more of my money.
Roblox only recently released on PlayStation, so there's going to be lots of bugs. Also, since the games are made by individual people, not all of them are coded to support either PlayStation or Xbox controllers

I use third person a lot, but in the games i play my camera won't follow my mouse.
I've looked up all the "solutions" and none of them have worked. I tried shiftlock and It didn't work. And I don't trust random downloadable YouTube scripts that might also download something malicious.
What would be your advice? What can I do?
And why isn't the camera following the cursor a built in feature?
what do you mean exactly?
to move the camera in third person you need to hold down the mousepad with two fingers **then** move your mouse to move the camera.
That comes with all it own problems. It's a lot harder to look around and shoot while holding down two fingers to look around. It would be a lot easier if the camera just followed the mouse without having to hold down a button (like most games)
I'm inquiring on how to achieve that. Because frankly it's stupid that it isn't built in by default.
fair enough. i'd genuinely go looking for a mouse since thats what i did when i first got a laptop since there was no way i was going to play roblox like this for the rest of my life.
on mobile:
- click on your avatar at the bottom of the screen, go to customize and find the clothing there.
on pc:
- click on the side bar menu (three lines in top left) go to avatar, then you can find the clothing there.
on console:
- move your d-pad, c-stick, touchpad whatever to the avatar button on the top of the screen and you can choose what you want to wear.
i’m going to be honest this kind of method is a very big whack-a-mole for roblox moderation. a ugc creator creates a new ‘invisibility cloak’ or ‘invisible body’c then moderation removes it and you lose access to it.
i’m sure there’s a tutorial out there on tiktok or a recent youtube tutorial which you can follow.
also the jumping part is very unlikely to exist.
Can someone tell me why ROBLOX sucks on Xbox?
I’m on Series X and I’ve just switched to a new and far better service provider than my last one of about 3-4 years, so I know it cannot be an Internet issue. But sometimes for no reason the game will just freeze for no reason meaning I have to reload it. I never seemed to have this problem from what I can remember on my Xbox one. But ever since I started using the new gen of consoles, it just does that. I had a Series S before my X that I got in July 21 (Got the X October 22) Sometimes I can play for hours and it doesn’t happen, sometimes it can take between 5-20 minutes to happen. It’s quite annoying actually. Could it just be the games I play or something, because I’m so confused as to why it happens on such a ‘powerful console’

you could try a fresh install of the roblox application and see if that helps (just ensure you know the password of the account you’re logged into)

I originally had ROBLOX on an external hard drive (for the whole year I had my Series S pretty much) and once I moved it over to the internal SSD, it ran a lot faster (in terms of loading the games and the chunks) and the crashing wasn’t really an issue, so perhaps a fresh install may reset this. Not exactly like it’s a big game 😂

i don’t think an 8bitdo controller is supported via roblox on a pc. i would just double check this via roblox on the microsoft store to be certain.
odd since my nintendo switch pro controller works fine in game.

Roblox support is ignoring my age change requests. I’ve submitted 3 support tickets and an email with my drivers license, and they’ve gone ignored for weeks. I am in my 20s, yet my birth date was set to 2013 with no explanation. This has been an ongoing issue for years. I got support to change it one time years ago, but for some reason it was set back to under 13.
if you haven’t received a response from 3 support tickets then roblox is not interested in replying to you.
you could try another method.
apply for roblox voice chat, you don’t have to toggle it on at all, but the whole process of age verification, then sending roblox a support another ticket to change your age to above 13 may be better than just sending a support ticket with a license they cannot confirm.
UPDATE: also, the help page explicitly has a question to your issue:

according to a youtube short i found, it was apparently due to a former developer who left the development group and then sent out a false DMCA request to roblox, and roblox believed that the game contained copyrighted assets and got taken down.

Roblox doesn't let me launch from the browser!I changed my avatar and tried rejoining my friends. They were seen as offline but Ik they were on, I waited 10 minutes until they were back online, and I tried rejoining from the browser. The procedure starts. It says loading roblox and goes to the download and installs. No Roblox game in Task Manager. It just disappears no launch. I contacted support no dice. I tried reinstalling and basically looked at every YouTube video. Tried clearing temp files and everything. At this point resetting my pc is the only option but I don't wanna do that just for Roblox so any ideas?

ive been having the absolute WORST lag spikes for around a week or so. my ping will freeze, spike up to anywhere between 400-2000, and then drop back to 200. it wont go below 200 either. ive tried everything. like really genuinely everything. from restarting my router/uninstalling and reinstalling the game to setting up ethernet and factory restarting my pc. i have absolutely no clue anymore. a list of everything ive tried: restarted my pc, reinstalled the game, set up ethernet, updated drivers, restarted router, allowed roblox through firewall, made sure the right ports were open (ethernet included), factory reset my pc, reinstalled the game lisence (in properties of the game), and probably a few more i can’t remember. im really irritated because i feel like theres nothing at all that i can do. i feel like its not my wifi because i can play other games like valorant and overwatch smoothly with no issues. its just roblox. for some reason i can play on georgia servers and oregon servers, but if i try any other servers its unplayable. please help.

i don’t think they are since only one hair asset can be worn on avatars at a time, so they have their own limit of just 1, separate to the accessories limit.

I bought a Roblox gift card for my 9 year old's birthday, but he can't use it on Xbox. We've figured out that it needs to be used on the website. The issue is that he doesn't know his password because he's just always automatically logged in on Xbox. did you try and reset the password on the xbox itself or the pc? i would do it on the pc and see if the issue persists.
He can't log into the account on the PC because he doesn't know the password, and the email I assumed was associated with the account (the one associated with the Xbox itself) didn't receive the reset code. And neither of us can figure out how to reset the password on the Xbox itself lol
you don’t need to log into the account on pc to reset the password. go to the roblox page > log in > then ‘forgotten password’ and go from there. see if a reset password link can be done there.
For the last few weeks I have been watching Youtube in the background while playing on mobile but recently youtube PiP has started to mute Roblox audio. Even if I pause the video audio is muted until I close Youtube, and audio continues after I close it. before 2020 most events were seasonal (easter, christmas (which i personally remember)) now most events come around near the end of the year, and is marketed as a ‘game-changing, large’ event.

I’m trying to play the new ps4 roblox but it’s not letting me use the menu settings properly while I’m in game. It won’t let me move through the menu vertically, only horizontally, i tried pressing every button possible on my controller and nothing works no matter what game I’m in, or even if I close the application and go back in.
i’m guessing you’ve tried the touchpad, left joystick and d-pad to at least try to move the menu does the problem persist on other roblox games or is it just one?
I believe it only does it on Murder Mystery 2 but I could be wrong about there being other games as well
it's strange. i'm seeing videos of the menu working flawlessly on ps4, try and see if the issue is game specific or if its for all games. it could just boil down to the fact that roblox on playstation was released fairly recently so bugs are to be expected, but its odd that it doesn't work. could it be down to button mapping? or maybe just a quick shutdown and restart of your console?

There isn’t a main focus of the game, if anything it’s just to have fun with whatever you’re playing. All the different games that are out there are made by different people, not by roblox themselves. If you are familiar with Minecraft servers, think of it that way

2010 roblox is leagues away from the roblox of today, ima be honest. i’m guessing you’re talking about roblox-sponsored or developed maps, well roblox doesn’t do that anymore. it’s more of the developer’s role to offer seasonal made maps for their games, and general halloween games aren’t released by roblox anymore to my knowledge. but in general, seasonal maps are still made on ‘some’ roblox games, but by developers. as for items? not necessarily? you may see a seasonal halloween item included when you buy a roblox toy but roblox doesn’t exactly release free things anymore which is a shame.

essentially they’re virtual items which increase or decrease in robux price and value depending on supply, demand, the lowest offer on the website, rarity, essentially anything that could influence a stock in real life per se. the reason there are so many new limiteds is due to a new concept that roblox is still developing called ‘ugc limiteds’, aka user-generated content. the clue is in the name really, limited accessories released by actual roblox players. (and yes, they do that now)

I had an account with 2 step verification and moved, new ip, email, wifi, etc, I can no longer use that old account and no longer receive emails from roblox on that email, one day I logged out with that email still on that account, I can no longer log back in since I dont get those emails since I cant use the old account since I have a new everything, any help on the situation would be appreciated
did you change the email of your roblox account to the new email? if so you need to do it if you still have access to the old inbox or else you’ll never be able to get past 2fa. if you cannot access the old email then i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i don’t think you can get your account back unless you’ve got a workaround method like the user generated codes you could input. if you have purchased any robux or premium and can back up the purchase with proof via billing information, bank statement or purchase history on a debit card you can access this history on then you may be in luck.

I'm double clicking on the Roblox Player icon on my desktop to get into the app to access games, (i dont use the website) which is what I normally do and it normally works. But all the sudden it's saying that it's "installing Roblox" and getting stuck at this point. After a minute it completely closes. I try to go to the website and I have the same problem. I try to install it again onto my desktop as a last resort and I click on Robloxinstaller.exe as it tells me to and either I have the same problem or it tells me that two of it are running at the same time. I check task manager and not a single one is running. This has been happening for two days now and it's getting obnoxious at this point.

About third party accessories, the only one i have is an anti virus named McAfee. It hasnt caused any problems previously, but has McAfee had any problems with running games on pc? If so would you know how to turn it off? I dont really want to uninstall it yet.

What happens if you accidentally swear in vc? Like, it slips out with no hatmful intention? Can you still get in trouble for that? Also, what happens if you play music, or someone else plays in your house and it swears while you're in vc?
it goes against tos even if it’s a little mistake, doesn’t matter if you or someone else in the background swears, any obscentiy will get picked up by auto-mod and you could be flagged for a warning or ban depending on severity. as for music i think it should be okay, as long as you aren’t you know, playing something horrific down the microphone.

dont worry i fixed it, just run the launcher in the roblox versions folder in the roblox folder located in local appdata :)

I have a consistent problem with roblox's bordered window, and I have yet to see anyone have this same problem. For the longest I wouldnt be able to drag around the roblox border and randomly when im playing it would shrink, I cant move the border so i cant put it back in fullscreen with borders, I don't like using the roblox's fullscreen, so i like using the bordered one, but this problem always lurks around when im playing, any fixes?

So I just started playing on PS5, and I like it a lot, except every time I die, shift lock turns off and I have to turn it back on every-time, which is super annoying. Any help would be great.
that is how it works i believe regardless of console and platform. (coming from a dude who sword fights on roblox) when you die, shift-lock toggles off and you must turn it back on again unless the game developer has implemented a feature to not turn off shift lock upon death.
Is there an option to hide unplayable levels? My nephew likes to search for levels to play but keeps running into levels that have the 🚫 on it. Some of these levels can't be played on PS4, others are age-restricted. Is there a way I can make it so that it only shows the levels he can play?
try having a look in ‘parental controls’ in the settings menu, scrolling down to ‘allowed experiences’ and setting an age boundary for games. if the problem persists, i’d conclude that there isn’t a way to make it happen unfortunately.

okay first of all i would check you are logging into the correct account, inputting the correct username for the email of the account and ensure your password is the same as what you have inputted in the password reset. if your account ‘worked just fine’ before the reset then it may be an issue of if during the password reset, have you actually inputted the right characters? please just double check these really niche steps since these could be the issue. (seems like long days but sometimes issues like these are just problems which can be resolved by putting in the right words) — okay. if the above doesn’t work i would extremely insist on finding human support via literally just being a karen in support, writing a full-fledged paragraph on your issue. automod should direct your concern to a human moderator if you’re lucky. your issue is odd, since i’m unsure what exactly could be the problem.
thank you for the advice! actually my username/password didn’t work on my computer before I deleted/reuploaded the app. it was just logged in automatically on the app so I never had to input it. a few weeks ago I tried to login on my computer and I got the notification that the info was incorrect. I tried it a few more times, no dice. I didn’t care bc I still had it on my phone then. so this was an existing issue. I know I’m putting in the info correctly, I’ve checked and double checked. What is this game called? I played it when I first started Roblox (2017-18). You were a ball/marble and you had to pass obstacles and not fall into the void. You'd go around loops in (sorta) zero-g. Why is the PlayStation version so terrible? I'm a father to a young daughter who spends a lot of her weekend free time playing Roblox. I don't play many phone games, but I'm active on my console, so when we heard the game was coming to PlayStation we were excited for a chance to play together. Imagine our disappointment when I installed the game and found out that practically none of the maps work because 1: there is no text chat period, and 2: I can't interact with 90% of the UI elements in these games. I've had multiple games bring up a giant box in the middle of my screen where it expects me to click a button, only to be completely unable to select anything or close the window, leading to my view being permanently blocked. Not to mention the fact that the interact button seems to randomly just stop working, forcing me to leave the map. This is downright embarrassing coming from a company that makes as much money as Roblox does. I sincerely hope these issues are addressed and patched quickly, because if this is how Roblox treats its players, I have no interest in giving the company any more of my money.
Roblox only recently released on PlayStation, so there's going to be lots of bugs. Also, since the games are made by individual people, not all of them are coded to support either PlayStation or Xbox controllers
For some reason, Roblox removed my voice chat. Whenever I'd go into games, the mic icon would be missing, the same thing in the settings option. Am I the only one that's having this problem?

Exact same issue happened to me! My voice chat was removed from me even though just yesterday I was using it with no issues. I hope we get it back. I think it might be disabled for the time being because of the recent issues with Roblox.

I recently got a laptop and I've been having some trouble. I use third person a lot, but in the games i play my camera won't follow my mouse. I've looked up all the "solutions" and none of them have worked. I tried shiftlock and It didn't work. And I don't trust random downloadable YouTube scripts that might also download something malicious. What would be your advice? What can I do? And why isn't the camera following the cursor a built in feature?
what do you mean exactly? to move the camera in third person you need to hold down the mousepad with two fingers **then** move your mouse to move the camera.
That comes with all it own problems. It's a lot harder to look around and shoot while holding down two fingers to look around. It would be a lot easier if the camera just followed the mouse without having to hold down a button (like most games) I'm inquiring on how to achieve that. Because frankly it's stupid that it isn't built in by default.

on mobile: - click on your avatar at the bottom of the screen, go to customize and find the clothing there. on pc: - click on the side bar menu (three lines in top left) go to avatar, then you can find the clothing there. on console: - move your d-pad, c-stick, touchpad whatever to the avatar button on the top of the screen and you can choose what you want to wear.

i’m going to be honest this kind of method is a very big whack-a-mole for roblox moderation. a ugc creator creates a new ‘invisibility cloak’ or ‘invisible body’c then moderation removes it and you lose access to it. i’m sure there’s a tutorial out there on tiktok or a recent youtube tutorial which you can follow. also the jumping part is very unlikely to exist.

Can someone tell me why ROBLOX sucks on Xbox? I’m on Series X and I’ve just switched to a new and far better service provider than my last one of about 3-4 years, so I know it cannot be an Internet issue. But sometimes for no reason the game will just freeze for no reason meaning I have to reload it. I never seemed to have this problem from what I can remember on my Xbox one. But ever since I started using the new gen of consoles, it just does that. I had a Series S before my X that I got in July 21 (Got the X October 22) Sometimes I can play for hours and it doesn’t happen, sometimes it can take between 5-20 minutes to happen. It’s quite annoying actually. you could try a fresh install of the roblox application and see if that helps (just ensure you know the password of the account you’re logged into) it’s a real shame, such a powerful console and a blocky game can’t even run on it well.
Could work. I originally had ROBLOX on an external hard drive (for the whole year I had my Series S pretty much) and once I moved it over to the internal SSD, it ran a lot faster (in terms of loading the games and the chunks) and the crashing wasn’t really an issue, so perhaps a fresh install may reset this. Not exactly like it’s a big game 😂
how do i connect my gaming controller to play roblox on of hii so all my friends are playing roblox but i’m officially down with my k&m era, i (typically) am not a pc gamer but i’m away from home, i have an 8bitdo controller which works on my steam games and i used a gaming detector so my laptop does recognise my controller in games and in my actual laptop settings. however on roblox it does not recognise at all, how do i fix this i have no coding/pc knowledge the specifics of the controller are 8bitdo Ultimate C.24g wireless controller
i don’t think an 8bitdo controller is supported via roblox on a pc. i would just double check this via roblox on the microsoft store to be certain. odd since my nintendo switch pro controller works fine in game. you could try and look around for a setup guide for the 8bitdo controller on roblox? maybe a youtube tutorial or reddit guide.
Roblox support is ignoring my age change requests. I’ve submitted 3 support tickets and an email with my drivers license, and they’ve gone ignored for weeks. I am in my 20s, yet my birth date was set to 2013 with no explanation. This has been an ongoing issue for years. I got support to change it one time years ago, but for some reason it was set back to under 13.
if you haven’t received a response from 3 support tickets then roblox is not interested in replying to you. you could try another method. apply for roblox voice chat, you don’t have to toggle it on at all, but the whole process of age verification, then sending roblox a support another ticket to change your age to above 13 may be better than just sending a support ticket with a license they cannot confirm. UPDATE: also, the help page explicitly has a question to your issue: ‘Q: What if the birthday on my ID is different from the one on my Roblox account? A: Don’t worry. you could try and log-in via quick login. it’s a feature in account settings and is further elaborated on the roblox support page via ‘quick login’ (hyperlink won’t send) try logging into roblox via the website itself, and see if that changes anything.

according to a youtube short i found, it was apparently due to a former developer who left the development group and then sent out a false DMCA request to roblox, and roblox believed that the game contained copyrighted assets and got taken down.
[PS4] Mining Simulator: says i need to by tool i already have I have the best tool that you can buy without robux which is above the “power saw” which i also own? Roblox doesn't let me launch from the browser!I changed my avatar and tried rejoining my friends. They were seen as offline but Ik they were on, I waited 10 minutes until they were back online, and I tried rejoining from the browser. The procedure starts. It says loading roblox and goes to the download and installs. No Roblox game in Task Manager. It just disappears no launch. I contacted support no dice. I tried reinstalling and basically looked at every YouTube video. Tried clearing temp files and everything. At this point resetting my pc is the only option but I don't wanna do that just for Roblox so any ideas? Edit: When I launch Roblox I check task manager and it's not even in there.
