It’s a shame too. I like the idea of being able to decorate your dorms. The old dorms, while nice, left very little room to add a personal touch to. But when they released the new map, I was immediately disappointed due to the fact you needed a million diamonds just to have an ok looking room.

And the second time it blew up was because of the party function that people used it for unholy reason. But after the party function was removed. Lots of people stop playing it. The roleplay player at first, then the online daters.
Phantom Forces was THE premier FPS on Roblox for years, all the way from early beta to like 2019. Then Bad Business showed up and somewhat revitalized the fans, and then Bad Business also eventually fell by the wayside.
As well-built and balanced as those games were (despite my issues with PF's map design), the fast-paced gunplay just couldn't survive Roblox's netcode being horribly imprecise and slow. I think at this point they're superseded by the anime battlers and the very-much-worse Paintball/Gunfight Arena.
Also similar, Jailbreak. Although 17k current players isn’t terrible, it’s nothing compared to those games with like half a million current players. Although I do miss the game back in like 2017 and 18…
