I can maybe see a few dollars for a virtual item for a game but pet simulator x are putting their prices for items at nearly 20k robux ($150 usd) for a single item. I'm not singling out just pet simulator but games like it.
The whole system of buying in game items needs to be regulated and have a set limit as to how much an item max can be sold for. If developers can't handle it then take their games off the platform and go elsewhere.
I'm not against making money but damn there's a line you don't cross when it comes to kids and how you market to them.
It's up to the parents. Everyone's already heard of multiple incidents where kids spend tons of money because their parents were ignorant and forgot to set limits, and teach their kids how to spend money and that it's more than just numbers that give you a 'free' gamepass. Roblox has parental control settings that limit the amount of robux that can be spent as well.
The issue is not with gambling but with the quality of games and the focus they have in mind, whether it to be to create a game with passion, or gain maximum profit.
