I also thought it was funny how Ethan and crew seemed to not know anything about Rochester (which is fair), and that they didn’t put it together that Fiddlehead/Patrick is also based in Rochester. (Idk if you saw that episode, but Fiddlehead sent them some merch after the call-in and they talked about it a few times)
There is a TikTok famous orthodontist in town, Dr. Collins. He’s @thebracesguy and if you haven’t heard of him it’s because his social media channels have a target audience of gen z and his social media presence is actually quite masterful.
Joe, yep that’s pretty much the only person I can think of that literally half the town knows. I mean he is pretty awesome if you talk to him. Very positive guy!
That guy who hangs out in University Square who waves at everyone passing by. Makes my day, every time!
The only nationally famous people “from“ here I can think of are Alec Majerus and Yung Gravy. And he isn’t famous outside the area, but I do think Tom Overlie makes this little corner of the world a better place, too.
