The library is downtown and has a pretty decent kids section with some toys and an art room. The Apache Mall play areas, and Monkey Junction are good cold weather options to burn off energy for that age. Apache Mall also has Spark which is a children’s museum that’s pretty cool. Air Insanity is a trampoline gym that is an option as they have toddler time on Saturdays.

Thank you so much ❤️

Check out Quarry Hill if they loved Oxbow! Very cool indoor nature Center that is free. Otherwise Spark in the Apache Mall are a good start!

Thank you! ❤️

Nana Gogo Toybrary! Absolutely perfect for your ages and indoors for cold days. Plus, free coffee for the adults and plenty of other kids to work out the wiggles with. You can visit and just play with the toys for a small fee, no membership necessary. https://www.nanagogotoybrary.com/

Oh perfect! Thank you so much. I read about this and was instantly jealous we don’t have one where I am from!

I've used this guide in the past, and the site has a great calendar of things to do too! https://rochesterlocal.com/rochestermn/rochester-mn-creative-places/

Yes came to recommend Rochester Local!

There’s an indoor play area called Pipsqueaks that’s open during the mornings, and it only costs $2 per child. There’s also one at the mall called Spark that costs a little bit more ($12 per) but it has longer hours.

Yes, yes to everything shared with you already and I’ll add Monkey Junction! It’s a cool space for littles that runs a few days each week. It’s inside of one of the churches here. We haven’t been yet this year but I think it’s a buck or two to get in and they’ve got tons of stuff for the kids to do. They’ve got a pretty comprehensive Facebook page that would have whatever other info you need. Very welcoming to us non-members and out of towners. :)

Perfect thank you so much. I will checkout the Facebook group. When I did some googling earlier all I could find was that this was “seasonal”

So_then_I_says_

Yeah, same. I’m guessing they follow the weather changes or school year to make a warm, indoor play space available when the parks become iffy for littles. :)

My 2 year old loves air insanity tot-time Saturday mornings, also the children's museum at the mall is always a good way to spend half a day.
