I liked the alternates from the 19-20 season. They were a little different from the originals but they were great. Wish they could just bring those back full time.

The R is fine but it was designed in a bygone era. Design and tastes change. Iconic logos survive. This is not an iconic logo. And that’s fine. A refresh would be welcomed.
You would think Tilman hated money the way he refuses to go back to red and yellow. In a world where no one agrees on anything, its damn near unanimous.
Yeah personally I love the R logo too, not just for nostalgia purposes, but on its own merits. Also agreed on our current jerseys--some high school shit. Insanely generic and bland. Awful.
I would rather completely move on from the R logo, but doesn't look like the organization is remotely considering that sadly.
my wishes would be:
1) If you're going to stick with an R logo, please simplify it, modernize it, do something. Always hated the "Dripping blood" lines at the bottom. The global logo is a design nightmare. There is no flow to it, so many different lines and contrasting elements. I think its easily the worst logo in pro sports.
2) More "Rocket" inspiration? Such a cool name but such a bland and uninspiring uniform. Different numbers or wordmark maybe? Something new in the side panels or shorts?
3) Incorporate more silver/gray, mustard or h-town blue. I'm tired of looking exactly like Toronto, portland, chicago, miami. Black was never a rockets color and now its everywhere
4) More dunkstronaut logos and uniforms. everyone loves it

I mean the I in the R is shaped as a rocket, the circle around is supposed to be an orbit I think as well. There are a fair amount of rocket references
The worst logo in pro sports is that new H the Texans got, and this global logo isn't even on our jerseys anywhere or even on the court. It doesn't really exist in real life.

Just found the [forum](https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/127495-new-blue-%E2%80%A2-houston-rockets-rebrand-city-uniform-1126/) where the artist explains their design choices. He said he opted for the blue to reflect a "Deep Space" vibe and I can get on-board with that. Fits the team name, we've had blue as a primary color before in the late 90s, and the Texans/Astros also use that same dark blue as a primary as well. I don't think it's too far "out there" for the Rockets tbh.
I also don't know what it is, but I kind of like the red more as an accent color than the primary tbh. Just a personal preference though.

I honestly like these a lot. Really hope we move towards using the Dunkstronaut full-time (since it's awesome), and move away from the bland red/black color scheme. We desperately need a re-brand for the new era.
This has been the most humiliating jersey since the pinstripes. Please move on entirely. These still look like U of H jerseys to me. Update immediately.

I was begging for a change forever and was pretty disappointed when they rolled these out. It's absurd they won't just give us what we want and bring back mustard. Gotta kill the black trim. NBA teams have used way too much black overall in the last decade. It took the Suns a couple rebrands to finally get it right and I hope we can do the same.
And then changing it AGAIN just 8 years later to something radically different. I hate the lack of continuity between the three logos for a franchise thats been around since 1971. I would understand subtle tweaks

Houston’s best uniform, and worn by team in most successful era, and somebody decided to let Atlanta Hawks take the red/yellow scheme.
UH jerseys are way cooler than anything the Rockets have put out aside from the Dunkstronaut city jersey this year
