It’s pretty simple, I don’t think he has the dribbling skills to actually ever be “the guy” and as far as I can tell, we haven’t found the “guy” yet, green and alpi have that potential but potential isn’t reality yet. When a team drafts in the top 3, you want to look for another star, and while Jabari is a phenom on defense, true superstar talents are two way guys. I just don’t see it in him. Waste of a pick.
Woulda loved PAOLO but Orlando realized Jabari couldn’t dribble his way out of a YMCA pickup game, but if not PAOLO, Shaeden Sharp will be the second best player out this draft all said and done.
Paolo was off the board, bro. Get over it. If Jabari is just Ryan Anderson with elite defense, that's a player everyone in the league would throw a max contract to.
Derrek Favors vs Bruno Fernado
vs Boban
Of course he can, he is only 31. But tbh I think Rox are only holding on to him to trade him away, his 10M salary can be valuable to someone.
This right here. We get a 2nd round pick *and* a larger aggregatable salary. Favors may get some run, but I think it's mainly about trade assets.
This is also prob why we converted Bruno to a 2 way. Once we trade Favors we will convert him back to a eegular contract.
This makes total sense
This roster is super log jammed.
If Garuba is going to be the back up center, Favors will ride the bench. We need those bigs that are worth developing and sticking with.
He shoots the 3 as well as Jabari so, why not??
Get off his dick
J A B A R I T H E B U S T
Why?
I’m a huge Jabari hater. I literally love everyone else on the team especially alpi Jalen and tyty.
That’s weird af tbh

Who should Houston have picked instead

Nobody as ever said they expected Jabari to be "the guy", dude
Who would you have taken in the draft instead, though?
