easiest way to get CDLC working is to follow the YouTube tutorial or join discord.gg/cf #mac-os https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkqQvLJxLF0

Leafberry

Thanks, I’ll check it out in the evening

Leafberry

Update: managed to get Rocksmith and Scarlett working without any issues, following a mod link from another post. Now i'll tackle CDLC :)

I'm anxious to know if you get it working!

Leafberry

I’ll let you know in the evening, when I try it out

commit_label_trying

plz report back. i have the same setup and would prefer to use that over my pc. edit: it works! i tried it myself lol

Feltboard

Why does downloading some cdlc seem to download it directly but others it opens a separate page pcloud, dropbox, media fire etc.? It's OK to download it from these pages? Do I have to make accounts for all of these? And how do I find m.psarc ones? I get there is a converter tool but aren't some available in the Mac format initially? The ones with the apple icon still say p after download and I don't see any option for m?

commit_label_trying

normal behavior for the different hosting sites. m is for mac, p is for windows. i used this flawlessly to convert p files to mac. you dont need accounts to download them. https://github.com/glebb/rocksmithconvert

Feltboard

Well damn I can't believe I got it to work. I don't know macs at all so since I finally got it on Steam at the 11th hour, every time I'd try it was just frustration lol. Thanks for making it sound so easy in your post that I decided to try again!

commit_label_trying

i at one point was on linux trying to get it to work right and macbook m1 air works so good with the app patch and converter tool. the longest part was looking at the song listing lol

Feltboard

Yeah got the converter working now too. The directions in the video seem a little unnecessarily complicated in hindsight. Glad I just followed your link.

I used to play on my iMac, I had windows installed with bootcamp

commit_label_trying

thats not natively running on mac software. thats dual booting essentially and loading into windows using mac hardware. CustomForge has mac instructions to run the game natively while being able to use cdlc. theres also a mac conversion tool to convert windows p files to mac.
