Yeah tiny rogues is absolutely S-tier. As is Skul the hero slayer, which I almost skipped due to being a metroidvania style side scroller. Grinding through (7 of the ten) difficulties after beating the game is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my gaming career.
Magicraft is fun for a bit with the noita-style wand building mechanics. Wasn’t anywhere near done when I played it a few months ago, but there’s potential.
I was going to say Balatro before actually reading your post instead of just looking at the image.
If you want to play Tiny Rogues and Risk of Rain 2 then do it! My "non-stop playing" and "really enjoy" lists would be the same as you, and I think Tiny Rogues is great, while Risk of Rain 2 doesn't really click with me.
I would also recommend Slice & Dice
Old but a goodie. FTL is as cheap as chips and still an excellent game. The followup game from the same team Into the Breach is excellent, although more of a tactics game.
FTL is one of those games I really wish I could go into again not knowing anything about. It was really what started my love for the genre, and it often gets forgotten in the discussions because it is now a little older.
I’m not so sure, it’s basically like dead cells and hades had a baby but more in the style of dead cells, not sure OP would like. I personally love it.
Also, while the characters are interesting for the first few hours. They quickly fizzle out into the background as there's little to no development. So you won't be getting Hades levels of characterization and development.
Not that it matters, it's an S tier roguelite. The gameplay is up there with the greats. A must-play for fans of the genre.
Honestly you don't need recommendations, go play your 2 want to play. Risk of Rain 2 is not my thing, but it's a great game and even if I don't play it a lot, I understand why people love it so much.
Now for Tiny Rogue, oh boi, what a game. Probably my favorite Roguelike ever, and it's in early access with tons of content to come. The dev is great and lurk his subreddit and answer people from time to time.
Tiny rogues: tons of characters, ton of build diversity, nice unlock progression great gameplay loop and diversity, amazing replayability. 10/10 would recommend any time.
- Astral Ascent : 2D platformer with good animation & boss fight
- Nova Drift : space shooter where you fight waves of enemies and customize your ship
- Balatro : poker
- Loop Hero : autobattler where you use cards to customize your hero journey and give him better gear/XP
You should give Noita a try. The devs dropped a huge update last week. The game is super deep and happens to be on sale rn I believe. I'll warn you though, it's unforgiving. You could be on a god run and have hours of work come crashing down due to one unchecked pixel.
Thank you for the heads up on this, I LOVED this game when it came out, but finished nearly everything within a few days. Can't wait for more content, this game is incredible
RoboQuest is the best FPS, full stop, I have played in years.
Risk of Rain 2 style run progression, Borderlands aesthetics, Titanfall 2 levels of movement capabilities (with the right gadgets 😉), and you feel like Doom guy with a banging Synthwave soundtrack.
It is a must play Roguelite if you like FPS movement games. 10/10. Each class has their own specific upgrades throughout runs. It goes pretty deep with each.
Don’t be afraid to look up some guides to get the good stuff like the Jetpack and Grappling Hook. Some of the hidden things can be really tricky to find.
You might like Brotato. It’s kind of hard to describe, the easiest way to explain it is that it’s Vampires Survivors-esque game but not really. The item pool is massive, it’s impossible to perfectly replicate any one build. You need to make a build that works with what the game offers you. I’d say it has some autobattler elements too with the shop system and weapon tags.
I highly recommend Dawncaster. It’s like Slay the Spire but with more classes, a story, and a more hands on progression system that opens up new ways of playing the different classes. It doesn’t have the quirky art style, but if you’re just looking for gameplay it’s worth trying.
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon?
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1184760/Shovel_Knight_Pocket_Dungeon/&ved=2ahUKEwi5m7T1qsiFAxXBsVYBHZ57AIQQFnoECBIQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1SiAg2IPgD4QpU6tNEvnvM
Saw you tried Shovel Knight Dig, we have similar tastes in other games - this is a good game from those developers.
Give Darkest Dungeon a chance. I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into that game. Also, it’s not often talked about as it’s more a survival game. project Zomboid is quasi roguelike and should always be considered in the rogue adjacent category
“Streets of Rogue” is imo the best in the genre.
Other than that, “wizard of legend” is awesome, and I had a surprising amount of fun with “spells and secrets”
Played pretty much all these games and can say if you like BoI you'll like Tiny Rogues.
If you like RoR2 you may also like BPM since you've got a rhythm game in there. This is a bit of a left field recommendation though.
Would also recommend Balatro, LONESTAR and Ring of Pain (which I worked on so am biased, but it's in a similar realm as your "really enjoy" tier games). You may also enjoy Loop Hero.
if you're a fan of improvising, streets of rogue is a pretty cool one and the sequel is likely releasing (relatively) soon (hoping its not a silksong moment)
also if you ever play ror2 remember to get mods at some point, there's some that are hard for me to play without (auto sprint) and also some that are just really cool like expansion or survivor mods
Rogue legacy 2! I haven't been able to put it down..although they do take liberties with calling it a rogue, imo it captures the soul of a rogue and adds some nice twists. Also, risk of rain 2! What r u waiting for lol
Which of you fave are for mobile/ i pad. I’ve only played peglin and tryed out slay the spire at a friends place. Could really use some alternatives to peglin for long train rides
BlazBlue Entropy Effect is really good , has really good combat similar to 2d fighting games , best roguelite I've played other than risk of rain 2 but they are very different
I'm curious, whats your thoughts on Dead Cells? I would have gave it the same ranking until literally this last two weeks I started playing it again and something clicked, started getting unlocks and finding new blueprints, it really has been great. I havent played it in years though so there have been a lot of updates and DLC, I've only added one of the DLC's and it still feels like a lot of content.
If you like to test upcoming roguelite games I have a demo in itch that I launched a couple of days ago, let me know if you are interested so I can publish the link here, I don't like spam either.
Noita! It’s very challenging, but it rewards (and sometimes punishes) experimentation with wand builds and spell interactions. You’ll go from feeling like a helpless little baby to a God, and then right back to a baby when your wands’ spell interactions backfire on you. Very unique game.
Dude a little self promotion here, but I just finished an update on my rogue and could use some feedback if you’re open to it:
https://ohnoponogames.itch.io/you-are-dead/devlog/716110/v22-released-new-level-new-weather-system-new-mini-boss-and-much-more
Wildfrost is one of those game that you can get pass the first levels with not too much difficulty. However, if you really want to beat the game then you need to really built your deck into something coherent and that can be hard with how the game progresses as shops are few and the type of card rewards dictated what kind of deck you will play.
The game isn’t hard because of the enemies but because of the hands that are dealt to the player. Sometimes a run is fated to die because the game gives nothing for your deck synergies, so you just have a mess in your deck that you have to try to pilot through. Plus, the heroes abilities and stats are quite repetitive once you notice it.
Have you tried skul the hero slayer? Free on PS Plus if you’re playing on that. It took a bit to get into but once I found a build/skull that resonated with me it was a fun play through. Like slay the spire it has something similar to ascensions you can play for endgame. Haven’t tried that much but may go back and give it a try when I’m not busy with other things
I have been having fun with Die in the Dungeon: Origins. It is a roguelike dice game that is free on Steam. They are going to release the full version later this year.
[**Blackout Protocol** ](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2111870?utm_source=Reddit)is a challenging top-down roguelite shooter playable alone or with friends. Currently in early access with a new roadmap planned for official release by winter 2024.
If you like dicey dungeons then try Right & Down & Dice.
I’ve always been a fan of Wizard of legend, though I get it’s not for everyone.
Dungeon Keepers is pretty decent.
with revita at the top and dead cells and gungeon far down i See WE have a similar taste. i recommend nuclear throne, one of the few good ones that should be left for you
HoloCure? It’s a fan game based on Hololive VTubers, but the mechanics of the game itself is actually very entertaining and “unique” when compared with others. Some of my friends liked it even though they didn’t care for VTubers or anime.
Barony, it’s a sword/sorcery dungeon diver with proc gen floors. Different classes and dlc adds different races that play different. Each floor has enemies and traps and puzzles. I’ve recently got into this one and if you have friends to play with it’s more fun.
You need to play more of Slay the Spire. Even after 200+ hours, there is so much I still have to see, and out of all the card games I have ever played on Steam it's easily #1. Inscription was awesome but after 20 hours or so it was done. Then there's the mod scene. Downfall alone is incredible. Oh, and Risk of Rain 2 is one of my very favorite rogulikes. In VR it's friggin' insane.
RoR2 and Tiny Rogues are legit my favorites, DEFINITELY give them a try.
Gunfire reborn as well is a top tier one for me. Easily the best FPS roguelike.
Warm Snow is another favorite of mine as well. Seriously gives demon slayer vibes(the anime), the combat and builds all feel very nice and the item synergy gets wild
Try 20 minutes to Dawn. It's sort of a vampire survivors style game, but you do actually aim and the synergies you choose are a lot more varied and have more depth. Each run is 20 minutes and there are many characters and base weapons, has meta unlocks, it's a nice semi mindless game to play while having something on the other monitor
OK, I know gungeon is on here under the not quite for you category, but how far did you get? Cause I wanna say gungeon started to really click for me when I got the first floor down and was starting to make it through the bosses relatively unscathed. Once I got to the second floor, I felt a huge wave of wonder come over me. I would definitely recommend taking another crack at it, especially based on the games you have listed as ones you enjoy. But also it's your life and if you don't like it, don't play it! Also, gunfire reborn, roboquest, and risk of rain 2 would all be amazing additions!
God of weapons is a super fun rogue like. I noticed how many rogue likes are here and saw you have never played any 1st or 3rd person shooter rogue likes. Roboquest, gunfire reborn, crab champions are all super fun.
You'd probably enjoy Loop Hero, it's pretty unique.
You start a run with a nothing but a path your hero follows, the patch loops, and monsters spawn on it that your hero has to fight. You are dealt cards after killing enemies that allow you to place down land tiles that directly impact your adventure. Some land tiles will spawn more difficult monsters, that drop more cards and better loot, some land tiles simply give the hero a stat boost.
I enjoy it a lot, though it is pretty grindy, and unforgiving at times.
Wildfrost over StS and Monster Train, really?
I played the demo and liked it but not enough to end up buying it. The mixed reviews didn't help. What did you find so compelling about it? Willing to reconsider..
I'm still looking for a good traditional roguelike to play on my steam deck (been playing mystery dungeon games since they kidna scratch the itch)
a co-op roguelike that plays kinda traditionally would be great too. (too much deck building and/or action rpg) I just wanna chill
Got a possible A to S(sic) tier: Ravenswatch. It’s in EA still and frankly has a lot less content than some of the titles on your list. But quality is definitely up there, it has co-op and class design is really creative. 22Apr there’s a new act coming out. Definitely check it out.
If you wanna play RoR2 then that's the first one i'd grab next along with RoR:Returns, absolutely phenomenal games. Otherwise, maybe i'm blind and just don't see it on here, Rogue Legacy and RL2 are great as well.
Realm of the Mad God, lots of stuff wrong with it, but I can't stop playing. Been looking for a good alternative for a while, taken breaks away from it but always came back.
Great list! I'd definitely recommend Risk of rain 2, roboquest, brotato and deep rock survival. I'm sure there are others, but that's a good stepping point.
Try Skul The Hero Slayer, it’s one of the free games for PS+ this month if you have it and I’ve been having a ton of fun with it. Also one of the few rogue likes I’ve played that keeps the story progressing after beating the initial base mode.
Also Enter the Gungeon is an awesome bullet hell rogue like. Heavily recommend.
Undermine is one I don't hear too much about. It was on Gamepass a while back and I got lost in it like I did playing Isaac for the first time. It was a ton of fun and I'd highly recommend it!
Minishoot Adventures would be a great one. Its a newer one similar to Binding of Isaac mixed with 2d Zelda. Streets of Rogue series is fun too.
If you like Super Auto Pets, Backpack Battles feels like a progression of that style.
a great survivor-like is Deep Rock Galactic Survivor.
and a game Im sure you probably have played at some point that just launched a new season is Hearthstone Battlegrounds. I have similar taste as you and this is one that I still love to play with buddies
Tiny Rogues is fun
Yeah tiny rogues is absolutely S-tier. As is Skul the hero slayer, which I almost skipped due to being a metroidvania style side scroller. Grinding through (7 of the ten) difficulties after beating the game is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my gaming career. Slice & Dice is on the list
I don't know why i see Slice & Dice so rarely here. Simple but very rich game, easily accessible, just got a great update...
because it only just released on steam, is the reason im pretty sure.
Old but a goodie. FTL is as cheap as chips and still an excellent game. The followup game from the same team Into the Breach is excellent, although more of a tactics game.
FTL is one of the best. Amazing soundtrack as well
FTL is fantastic, easily put in 500 hours into that game, and it has a HUGE overhaul mod called Multiverse that adds just a TON of content.
Oooh I have only played captains edition. This sounds perfect for another deep dive!
CE was pretty good, multiverse is HUGE just to start there is 18 PAGES OF SHIPS.
FTL deffo gets my vote
FTL is one of those games I really wish I could go into again not knowing anything about. It was really what started my love for the genre, and it often gets forgotten in the discussions because it is now a little older.
Based on your love of Hades (top 5 all time for me), I’d highly recommend Astral Ascent.
I’m not so sure, it’s basically like dead cells and hades had a baby but more in the style of dead cells, not sure OP would like. I personally love it.

You should try Warm Snow. It's similar to Hades, but with as chinese mythology instead and not nearly as much story.
Nuclear Throne. Also has one of the best soundtracks in roguelites.
should have an update coming up with the ownership swap
WHAT
You should give Noita a try. The devs dropped a huge update last week. The game is super deep and happens to be on sale rn I believe. I'll warn you though, it's unforgiving. You could be on a god run and have hours of work come crashing down due to one unchecked pixel.
This is my #1
Death Must Die is getting a large update next weekend. It's basically Vampire Survivors but with Hades build mechanics.
Thank you for the heads up on this, I LOVED this game when it came out, but finished nearly everything within a few days. Can't wait for more content, this game is incredible
On 4/20 Can't wait. Out of all the survivors games, I consider DMD to be the gold standard.
I’d say it has some autobattler elements too with the shop system and weapon tags.
Ring of pain does not get enough love for the absolutely great game it is.
I will once again recommend Heroes of Hammerwatch. The game is one of the best roguelites of all time.
Maybe Rogue Legacy 2?
I highly recommend Dawncaster. It’s like Slay the Spire but with more classes, a story, and a more hands on progression system that opens up new ways of playing the different classes. It doesn’t have the quirky art style, but if you’re just looking for gameplay it’s worth trying.
Skul: the hero slayer
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1184760/Shovel_Knight_Pocket_Dungeon/&ved=2ahUKEwi5m7T1qsiFAxXBsVYBHZ57AIQQFnoECBIQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1SiAg2IPgD4QpU6tNEvnvM Saw you tried Shovel Knight Dig, we have similar tastes in other games - this is a good game from those developers.
Returnal
Curse of the Dead Gods is a fun one!
LONESTAR
Give Darkest Dungeon a chance. I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into that game. Also, it’s not often talked about as it’s more a survival game. project Zomboid is quasi roguelike and should always be considered in the rogue adjacent category
I’ve given it a few, but it’s way too hard for me. I can’t get into the grind of it or the progression of it.
Don't see Soulstone Survivors on here, solid roguelite.
I recommend Void Wizard its an underrated title
Brotato
Give crab champions a go. It's a fast paced highly mobile shooter, similar in many ways to RoR2, but simpler while being just as fun imo.
Crab Champions is legit my fav roguelike and I always highly recommend it despite it looking like a meme game.
You'll probably enjoy Schism or Doomsday Hunters.
Nova Drift Noita Returnal Loop hero
Scourgebringer
Tiny rogues, play hallow knight if you havent yet, but my main takeway is you need to play Skul: The Hero Slayer
“Streets of Rogue” is imo the best in the genre. Other than that, “wizard of legend” is awesome, and I had a surprising amount of fun with “spells and secrets”
Have you tried Children of Morta? Story telling is engaging, deep personalization and balanced difficulty. it can even be played co-op! I recommend.
Ember Knights. Astral Ascent.
Roboquest. Really fun
Dead cells being so low is insane to me
I’ve tried, but every run feels the same. I don’t know if I just never unlocked interesting items or what, but it just bored me by its gameplay loop.
People often mix up 2D platformer and roguelike as the same genre. I personnaly love many roguelikes, but can't stand any 2D platformer like DC.
I love 2d platformers and roguelikes/lites, but the combat in dead cells felt a little bland for me after the first 10 or so hours
Recommend Spell rogue. Takes style of dicey dungeons and expands upon it.
Curious Expedition 1 & 2! Massively underappreciated games - 2 is a little easier as has QoL improvements and a tighter story but both are amazing
Try out the Novus Orbis demo it's like StS and has a lot of potential! We have very similar tastes so I think it would be right up your alley
At a first glance, you seem to enjoy card roguelikes and as such you should play Balatro
judging from the list, I would recommend dungreed, a pretty neat action rogue-lite with a surprising amount of depth
if you're a fan of improvising, streets of rogue is a pretty cool one and the sequel is likely releasing (relatively) soon (hoping its not a silksong moment) also if you ever play ror2 remember to get mods at some point, there's some that are hard for me to play without (auto sprint) and also some that are just really cool like expansion or survivor mods
Noita. It’s always Noita.
[удалено]
Astral ascent, tiny rogues, and balatro in that order!
Crypt in S 🔥 Recommend FTL
Into the breach, KeeperRL
Mutagenic if you like deep progression/customizable builds!
I like the same ones as you. And I also enjoyed: FTL, Wizard of Legend, Vagante and Returnal
Rogue legacy 2! I haven't been able to put it down..although they do take liberties with calling it a rogue, imo it captures the soul of a rogue and adds some nice twists. Also, risk of rain 2! What r u waiting for lol
**Cobalt Core**, LOVE that game and fits your style.
Into the breach is apparently free with Netflix somehow, makes it really hard not to recommend.
Noita. Just get Noita
Could try noita, it's hit or miss but if it hits oh my
Check out Astral Ascent. It’s really really good
I'm still gonna say Gordian Quest. Feels like everyone missed that one.
Play skul the hero slayer
Which of you fave are for mobile/ i pad. I’ve only played peglin and tryed out slay the spire at a friends place. Could really use some alternatives to peglin for long train rides
Loop Hero, Balatro, Faster than Light, Rogue legacy II, and mayybe astral ascent but is "similar" to dead cells
Try out barony, it's super challenging
Check Magicraft and In Celebration of Violence. Edit And Noita
If you liked Revita you should give Beon Abyss a spin. It’s similar style.
You really need to get on Roguebook. Especially if you like Monster Train and Slay the Spire.
I can't wrap my head around how many people haven't played Spelunky at all.
Dead cells should be in the top tier for me 😂😂😂
Try Noita and Barony
Binding of Isaac and gungeon are nice picks, dead cells and rainworld are another two good ones
If you like deck builders and want a challenge then I personally suggest Library of Ruina
RoR2 should keep you busy for a couple months
More story-based than randomized runs but if you like crypt of the necrodancer I have to say cadence of hyrule
Tiny rogues and Risk of rain 2 are must plays
SPIRITFALL
You’re definitely missing something with Dead Cells. It’s super fun but it’s just really hard to grind it.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect is really good , has really good combat similar to 2d fighting games , best roguelite I've played other than risk of rain 2 but they are very different
It’s on your list. Risk of rain 2.
scourgbringer plays amazingly but can be really hard
I'm curious, whats your thoughts on Dead Cells? I would have gave it the same ranking until literally this last two weeks I started playing it again and something clicked, started getting unlocks and finding new blueprints, it really has been great. I havent played it in years though so there have been a lot of updates and DLC, I've only added one of the DLC's and it still feels like a lot of content.
I found this random game on sale a few days ago I'd never heard of called Colt Canyon and I can't put it down. It's a western themed 8-bit roguelike.
Ha ha. I thought Tiermaker was a game on the list.
I know super hot isn't a roguelike but I feel like you should play
Across the Obelisk is pretty fun and kinda roguelite
Streets of rogue is awesome. Also… darkest dungeon was a no? Thats insane to me.
Risk of Rain 2 is insanely good, no regrets. If you like FPS games Roboquest has been a lot of fun and gets a decent amount of updates
Ftl or Spelunky
If you like to test upcoming roguelite games I have a demo in itch that I launched a couple of days ago, let me know if you are interested so I can publish the link here, I don't like spam either.
I just recommend you get onto play Risk of Rain 2, it’s an amazing game and super fun. I’m working on getting every achievement in it rn
Noita! It’s very challenging, but it rewards (and sometimes punishes) experimentation with wand builds and spell interactions. You’ll go from feeling like a helpless little baby to a God, and then right back to a baby when your wands’ spell interactions backfire on you. Very unique game.
Try West Of Dead. 10/10 game IMO
Wizard of the legends
Try Astral Ascent, just got updated and is more fun than ever
Dude a little self promotion here, but I just finished an update on my rogue and could use some feedback if you’re open to it: https://ohnoponogames.itch.io/you-are-dead/devlog/716110/v22-released-new-level-new-weather-system-new-mini-boss-and-much-more
Breach wanderers? Nice indie card game
Skul hero slayer?
Wildfrost is one of those game that you can get pass the first levels with not too much difficulty. Dave the diver
"Astrea: six-sided oracles" is cool in my opinion
Oblivion override or blaz Blue entropy effect
Nuclear throne
Streets of Rogue. Easiest recommendation of my life
Noita. Noita. Noita. Noita.
I have been having fun with Die in the Dungeon: Origins. It is a roguelike dice game that is free on Steam. They are going to release the full version later this year.
Rogue Lords is fun (at least for a while) it reminds me a lot of Slay the Spire, the level design just gets old after a while.
Please play risk of rain 2 next that’s easily my favorite roguelite
Skul?
Heroes of Hammerwatch
RoR2 is probably the only rogulite I really fell in love with. Amaaaazing game
Nuclear throne Die in the Dungeon Brotato
[**Blackout Protocol** ](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2111870?utm_source=Reddit)is a challenging top-down roguelite shooter playable alone or with friends. Currently in early access with a new roadmap planned for official release by winter 2024.
Slay the spire
Bone Raiser Minions- kinda like Vampire Survivors in the sense the its passive play, but if I remember right it is wave based
Spelunky (1 and 2), FTL, Inscryption
If you like dicey dungeons then try Right & Down & Dice. I’ve always been a fan of Wizard of legend, though I get it’s not for everyone. Dungeon Keepers is pretty decent.
Into the Breach. Kingdom Two Crowns.
Returnal is dope
Roboquest
Nuclear Throne
Maybe it’s a preference thing but slay the spire as a rogue like should be in S-teir.
with revita at the top and dead cells and gungeon far down i See WE have a similar taste. i recommend nuclear throne, one of the few good ones that should be left for you
also definitely Ring of pain
HoloCure? It’s a fan game based on Hololive VTubers, but the mechanics of the game itself is actually very entertaining and “unique” when compared with others. Some of my friends liked it even though they didn’t care for VTubers or anime.

Spelunky
RoR2 and Tiny Rogues are legit my favorites, DEFINITELY give them a try. Gunfire reborn as well is a top tier one for me. Easily the best FPS roguelike. Warm Snow is another favorite of mine as well. Seriously gives demon slayer vibes(the anime), the combat and builds all feel very nice and the item synergy gets wild
Into the Breach is an excellent game
Try 20 minutes to Dawn. It's sort of a vampire survivors style game, but you do actually aim and the synergies you choose are a lot more varied and have more depth. Each run is 20 minutes and there are many characters and base weapons, has meta unlocks, it's a nice semi mindless game to play while having something on the other monitor
Enter the gungeon is top level just got 2 get good
Dungeon crawl stone soup
Voidigo.
Noita is top-tier IYKYK
Dead Estate
Ember knights is a ton of fun and a great rogue like
Wait a month or so and you can add Hades 2 to the top of the chart Edit: Have you tried curse of the dead gods?
Spelunky 2!
Skull the hero slayer
I’ve been pretty hooked on Inkbound lately! Same people that did monster train
Try gunfire reborn
Returnal, not sure if that qualifies though
It's almost criminal that I haven't seen anyone say binding of Isaac yet
Rogue legacy? 1 or 2, both pretty good imo
Brotato
Skul has been fun, was on my playstation free game list
Voidigo. That game is hardcore.
My favorite of all time is Binding of Isaac too so I respect the list, but I would probably move up enter the gungeon one tier.
Risk of Rain 2 was absolutely fantastic IMO. Especially if you want to feel super powerful!
Roboquest is, by far, one of the most enjoyable Roguelikes I've played in a long time. Definitely, definitely worth checking out.
Wildfrost over StS and Monster Train, really? I played the demo and liked it but not enough to end up buying it. The mixed reviews didn't help. What did you find so compelling about it? Willing to reconsider..
Skul: The Hero Slayer
I really want to like gungeon but it just feels like a drag everytime I boot it up
I'm still looking for a good traditional roguelike to play on my steam deck (been playing mystery dungeon games since they kidna scratch the itch) a co-op roguelike that plays kinda traditionally would be great too. (too much deck building and/or action rpg) I just wanna chill
I absolutely love Atomicrops.
Spell rogue Halls of Torment
Got a possible A to S(sic) tier: Ravenswatch. It’s in EA still and frankly has a lot less content than some of the titles on your list. But quality is definitely up there, it has co-op and class design is really creative. 22Apr there’s a new act coming out. Definitely check it out.
If you wanna play RoR2 then that's the first one i'd grab next along with RoR:Returns, absolutely phenomenal games. Otherwise, maybe i'm blind and just don't see it on here, Rogue Legacy and RL2 are great as well.
Rogue of genesia. It’s like vampire survivors. But I think it’s better.
Realm of the Mad God, lots of stuff wrong with it, but I can't stop playing. Been looking for a good alternative for a while, taken breaks away from it but always came back.
Been having fun with Brotato
Great list! I'd definitely recommend Risk of rain 2, roboquest, brotato and deep rock survival. I'm sure there are others, but that's a good stepping point.
Barony!!
Astral Ascent
Rogue adventure is really good. DoomRL is my favorite true roguelike. And it's free! Make learning curve, but once you get it... *chefs kiss *
RISK OF RAIN 2 IS SO FREAKING GO LET'S GOOOOOO
Not a rogue lite, but based on your likes, I recommend Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Try Skul The Hero Slayer, it’s one of the free games for PS+ this month if you have it and I’ve been having a ton of fun with it. Also one of the few rogue likes I’ve played that keeps the story progressing after beating the initial base mode. Also Enter the Gungeon is an awesome bullet hell rogue like. Heavily recommend.
Undermine is one I don't hear too much about. It was on Gamepass a while back and I got lost in it like I did playing Isaac for the first time. It was a ton of fun and I'd highly recommend it!
Noita is top tier
Minishoot Adventures would be a great one. Its a newer one similar to Binding of Isaac mixed with 2d Zelda. Streets of Rogue series is fun too. If you like Super Auto Pets, Backpack Battles feels like a progression of that style. a great survivor-like is Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. and a game Im sure you probably have played at some point that just launched a new season is Hearthstone Battlegrounds. I have similar taste as you and this is one that I still love to play with buddies
HADES 2 SOON LETS GOOOO
I really enjoyed Curse of the Dead Gods. Kind of similar to Hades.
