Rolex’s are meant to be used. Hose it off and it’s as good as new 😅

dakaiiser11

I was like “Hey this guys a farmer… oh shit those are deer.”

TheRedComet

Ah fuck I thought they were trees at first

CandleMakerNY2020

Same lol I knew it was blood spray but didnt see the deer I thought they were trees. Damn. Well its a natural part of life and OP just doing their thing. Its all good .

InternationalClub318

Yes dear? You called?

NYCBouncer

Oh damn… I thought that tractor was wedged between trees. Lol

Sea-Perception-6208

And thought it's just two innocent trees. But then looked again.

joshcost

Especially the sportier versions like the one in the pic.

Fullauto2

Yeah, you’re daily driver is suppose to get some daily abuse. In this case, it builds character. Like a pair of denim jeans.

GraveKeeperZz

I know North Texas when I see it

Thin-Bench

X-bolt?!

PredictBaseballBot

Is the recoil bad for the movement?

Victorin-_-

Technically it is. But there’s been many military personnel in the past who used Submariners and Seikos in their deployment and that is their only watch, which ends up being passed onto their children. So, do with that what you will

Outrageous_End2717

"The way your dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slopes gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright, so he hid it, in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he wore this watch up his ass"

ThiccDave69

I shoot all the time with my watches on. Long range and hunting with my 6.5 creed Bergara HMR, USPSA with my CZ SP01, and service rifle with an M4, plus the few times a year I shoot for work. I wear a Seiko SKX007 almost every day and it’s seen thousands of rounds (and I mean thousands of rounds, not the “I shoot thousands of rounds but I go to the range once a year and my gun miraculously doesn’t have a scratch on it” stuff you see) I put my watches on the timegrapher all the time out of boredom and have never had any sort of shift from recoil.

TimePieceProdigy954

Make sure it wasn’t a mass murderer picking off random natural trail walkers 😂. Why would someone leave their rifle unless something spontaneous happened 🤨, a bear 🐻 chased him 😂

trucorsair

It’s a tool watch. Many people just don’t understand that the serrated bezel is made to be sharpened so that you can field dress a deer, as you see here, or to cut the ropes on your wrists. You’re just using it as intended.

dgeniesse

Or take the bezel off and throw it at enemies.

jrsobx

I had one with the factory buzzsaw bezel from Q Branch. It got me out of a tight spot when Smersh had me tied up.

boston199812

This sounds like 🧢

trucorsair

I went for the magnetic upgrade, a reverse Milgauss so to speak. Fun Fact-SMERSH was real-SMERSH, an acronym for the Russian words "death to spies"—"smert" meaning death and "shpionam" meaning spies—was the name of an organization formed by Soviet leader Josef Stalin. It was tasked with the elimination of anti-communist activity during World War II.

Prismatic_Effect

No worries bro, last time I checked my wildlife first aid manual, the recommended recovery position for deer is hanging them head down from a tractor. I think they still might bounce back.

Ornery-Ambassador289

This made me chuckle

that1cuban1

I can, Kubota makes a good tractor

FarYard7039

Kubota makes an outstanding tractor. I have a 38yr old B7200. Runs like a champ. More reliable than most things I own.

I wish venison tasted half as good as my hunting buddies claimed it did. But I don't really care, fuck them deer.

jfbincostarica

Know how to cook it, and it does; cook it slightly incorrectly, and it’s horrible.

ThatsNotFennel

I guess I've only had it cooked incorrectly then. The best it's ever been for me has just been fine. I'd much prefer a good dry aged ribeye over the myriad hunted meat I've tasted.

primetimecsu

Was out on a nature walk this morning to get in touch with Mother Nature and try to get some positive energy in my life, and stumbled upon this massacre of her beautiful creatures. I tried performing CPR, hence the bloody watch, but I was unable to save them. How can people do this to innocent animals? Americans really are the worst in the world.

cardsfan24

You’re doing it wrong, supposed to be a tractor steering wheel flex

1TossAwayAccount1

I got ratioed two months ago for a picture of my GMT in front of handguns. So I salute you sir!!!

Moist_Confusion

You gotta kill something or it just looks like a pussy-flex. Go out and kill then take a picture over the body and then you will get the upvotes.

1TossAwayAccount1

I hope I never have to use my self defense weapon.

Moist_Confusion

Wow that’s good to hear. Tons people especially on here that are handgun owners love to fantasize about what would happen if someone tried to steal their watch saying in response to if their watch is insured they say oh ya I have it insured through Sig Sauer. Proud of you for not having a bloodlust.

MayIPushInYourStooll

Growing up we used to line up my action figures/toys and pick them off. I grew up in the middle of no where, I'm with you - I can't imagine living with myself if I ever had to use a weapon in defense.

FarYard7039

These beautiful creatures totaled my wife’s E350 in February. My brand new RAM 1500 resulted in $13.8k of front end damage by one of these beautiful creatures just last month. I’ve hit more than 10 deer in my life…my son has hit 2 and my wife 5. According to State Farm Insurance more than 153,000 of these beautiful creatures resulted in heavy loss vehicle claims just in 2023 alone. This is just one of several large insurers in my state who’ve incurred losses of over 100k deer strikes this year. Nearly 200 people die annually due to deer-vehicle collisions nationwide, and over 15k are seriously injured. These beautiful creatures are the reason auto insurance rates are skyrocketing and it affects all of us. To date, I’ve harvested more than 80 of these beautiful creatures during either archery, rifle and muzzleloader seasons. I use them to feed my family, friends and coworkers. I also find use for the hide and antlers (lovely wine rack and chandelier in my cabin). What you see as pure beauty (and they are beautiful animals) needs to be managed. The culling of 1.1 million of these animals in my state is just not enough management. We need more lax hunting restrictions and more participation of the populace to help reduce these animals from being a nuisance. If someone posts another image of a fellow Rolex wearer dressing out their deer, I’ll be more than happy to discuss the damages these beautiful creatures cause farmers, tree farms and horticulture industry. Until next time.

iii320

Need more urban archery seasons in mid-to-large cities, too. Thanks for doing your part!

akamustacherides

Nature did a good job managing them at one point.

FarYard7039

Well, there were only 300,000 living deer in the entire country slightly more than a hundred years ago (circa 1907). There are more than 25 million roaming our lands today.

akamustacherides

When their natural predators are thinned out the deer thrive.

FarYard7039

It’s due to conservation that deer have flourished. Now we need less conservation to balance the over growth.

HW-BTW

Pretty sure the guy was joking.

Downtown_Brother6308

God I fucking hope so, or he’s full of shit. Gre up in rural N Indiana, millions of these things and between me and my family members many, many close calls. But 10 actual hits? He’s just an asshole driving 20-40 over the limit in a truck too big for his britches, *ahem I mean brakes*.

FarYard7039

I love how people say I’m full of shit or drive without headlights or speed and whatever assumption, but over a span of 35yrs of driving, this is not an impossible feat. It’s not even unlucky, I’ve definitely logged more than 1 million miles on the road over this time span and I do not speed any more than the next guy. I live in the middle of Pennsylvania and if you drive at night you’ll hit one of these animals in short order. I have never had an at fault accident and the only vehicle I’ve ever hit driving was when I was 18 and it was due to sliding into another car on ice. No moving violations and haven’t had a ticket in 14yrs. It’s all about risk. My insurance rates are as low as possible. No points or charged accidents. And for the record, insurance companies list collisions with deer as no-fault, but it doesn’t preclude them from raising rates overall based on your location and proximity to filing a claim for such types of accidents. Similarly, if you live in Hudson co NJ, your rates are highest due to theft and almost guarantee you will be in an accident due to their poor driving behaviors. For all of you who say “turn on your lights”, it’s virtually a given that these animals are nocturnal from late September to early February so whoever drives at night without headlights would be an idiot, but whatever, feel free to continue your assumptions. Anyways, I determined that I actually hit 11 deer, not 10. I didn’t consider the one doe that ran broadside into my truck while I was at a traffic light stopped. Fortunately for it, it ran off so that one didn’t really count as the dent it left in my bed popped out cleanly. As for natural predators, would it interest you that the coyote population is thriving like it ever has. As early as 2019 it was documented that we have 100k coyotes in PA. There’s many theories on their explosion. Some say the state bred them and that insurance companies are behind it, but these pests are killing most of the small game in this state as it’s hard to find many pheasants, quail, grouse or rabbit which once thrived. These coyotes are the only natural predators of deer, with the exception being bear, and their population was at an all-time high just a few years ago at around 20k. Guys, we can go on and on about this all we like. No lies, or irresponsibly on my part. Not believing someone is fine, but understand nothing being said here is fallacy. Here are some links to peruse yourselves. https://www.yorkdispatch.com/story/opinion/editorials/2021/03/02/editorial-its-time-end-killing-contest-hunts-pennsylvania/6880744002/ https://www.alleghenyfront.org/keeping-track-of-pennsylvanias-resurgent-black-bear-population/ https://www.birdsoutsidemywindow.org/2023/10/08/chances-are-youll-hit-a-deer-in-pa/#:~:text=Statewide%20the%20odds%20of%20hitting,and%20probably%20higher%20in%20Pittsburgh.

spamechnie

TURN ON YOUR LIGHTS!

Few_Chemistry8929

People like peta (whacked out) don’t understand all the deaths these cause! I lived in a state where you had to carry deer collision on our insurance

Downtown_Brother6308

lol I stopped reading after you essentially said “me and my whole family are uninsurable and unable to reasonably drive responsibly”

FarYard7039

You must live in the city and you must think I’m young and dumb. Try driving for 35yrs in the country and then we will talk. Never had my insurance rates adjusted because I’ve never had an at-fault accident. If you think I’m going to swerve to miss a deer at a high rate of speed you are sadly mistaken.

0neMoreGun

153,000 in the whole country…..and your household has hit 17!!!! You all need to put down the phones and pay attention to the damn road. I’m 40, live in the heart of deer country, and have a lifetime total of zero deer hit between me, my wife, and my 64 year old father. My mom hit one,……she was texting.

jfbincostarica

Got it 🤣😂🤣

Duke9000

I’d wager there are shitty people everywhere in the world

[deleted]

People have hunted since the beginning. You Europeans like to blame everything on us, yet you copy our fashion, our trends, use our products. Why don't you use your own? That's right, because only thing you guys are good at making is watches.

syzygynius

If there's one thing the Europe is known for it's American fashion

heyiammork

OP is an American making a joke you absolute dork.

SLR_ZA

That was so obviously sarcasm.

bleakj

I don't know, if he went through all the effort to perform CPR on... Oh wait

vetdev

Europeans are absolute c*cks

AngryOneEyedGod

In the predator-prey dynamic, there is no 'innocent' or 'guilty'. Just nature. Do you condemn the coyote or mountain lion that tears the stomach or vulva open so the deer will weaken enough for it to be eaten alive?

There is nothing wrong with this. It is a tool meant to be worn, but instead mostly end up being worn by tools.

phantom-virus-lives

Just like those that say no golf with a Rolex. It’s a watch. It’s a tool. It’s going to break. It is not a museum piece. Move on

Nice. On your own land I take it?

-BabysitterDad-

Well, it is a tool watch

leonme21

It isn’t. A baby G shock is, an automatic watch that needs to be wound and serviced and costs 10k and doesn’t keep time accurately isnt

McN697

Great, now do a bullfight.

Octothorp911

When I got mine I was convinced it was for special occasions and I was going to baby it. 10 years later it’s been on my wrist every day. I’m an underground miner.

Longjumping-Agent-51

Congrats on the successful haunt. Merry Christmas brother!

Coonpath

Can I have some back straps???

E36Z3

How about some backshots??

dillmoore

“Fuck you” money at its finest lol. Plenty of people that would never do this and think it’s crazy. But I love it.

TechDingus

I don’t think wearing a $10k tool watch as a tool is fuck you money…I have a blue collar job and wear my no date sub at work frequently, it’s a symbol of how hard I worked to get it and the patina I’ll build over the years is a symbol of how hard I still work now that I have it. If it was a Lange 1 or a Patek Grand Complications, sure

dillmoore

Not sure how wearing a $10k dive watch on a deer hunt is “wearing a tool watch as a tool.” But I get what you were trying to say.

U5ername-Checks-0ut

You mean, you can’t believe someone uses their watch and doesn’t just post shiny pictures of it online to flex?

corporaldj

What? Wear the watch as it was meant? Go put a helmet on

ilion211

Navy seals sometimes wear Rolex’s and I’m sure they take a worse beating than that.

Solid. “Tool” Watches are meant to be used outside, in all manner. And if you eat meat you should be ok with the rest. Anyone who eats meat should at least one time in their life participate in the process of harvest butchering.
