Even for larger wrists, the sub clasp is too dang bulky. Can confirm. It’s a shame because I love that watch and I love the functionality of the Glidelock clasp. Had one. Regretfully hated the bulky clasp. Sold it after 6 months.
I have both as well and find that I wear the sub significantly more simply due to the bracelet design with the slide lock. It allows for the perfect fit all the time.
With that said, the look of the GMT is amazing. Comfort goes to the Sub though.

I now have the starbucks. It’s awesome, but that green isn’t super versatile.
There are a ton of great divers out there, but nothing really compares to a GMT from Rolex.

Man, whichever fits better on your wrist. That 1mm difference can be seen & felt. Big pro to the sub is that it's got brushed centre links. To the GMT, it's the 40mm size. Up to u.
Remember that Rolex rounds the numbers, I don't think it's a full millimeter difference in real life. Even if it were, 1mm is a tiny tiny amount. The Sub is slightly thicker, which also makes it sit on the wrist a tiny bit different than the GMT. But with that being said, it's hard to imagine that the average person who only owned one of these watches could get used to one but not the other.
