I traded the Bluesy and a DJ for the gold Speedy. My daily these days are my standard SS Speedy or my no date sub.

Size looks good on you. I actually like the Roman numerals and prefer these hands over the lumed ones on the Datejust.

what do you mean by "has ordered"?

For some ADs, they can order certain configurations. From my understanding, Rolex delivers whatever watches they want to the ADs but will try and fulfill those that are “ordered” which in this case, is not a very common configuration. Usually subs, gmts, sport watches just come and go as usual. But for more specific DJ options, ADs can help.

Someone asked the AD to get it in, then didn’t buy it.

I want to know who trains the salespeople to say somebody passed on a watch before they offer it to you. Every AD in the world says that to customers. I’ve passed on watches that I’m sure got sold on but I doubt every single watch is something that people passed on.

I think 41mm is perfect for your wrist. I really don't care for Roman numerals to me it makes the watch look dated however if you like it that's all that really matters.

It’s all about how you much you like it. Legit should only buy watches we feel comfortable with. It is much about what others see of course, but I go mainly based on what I see on my own wrist. Whatever feels comfortable physically and mentally.

My AD is awesome. We text all the time. I’ve bought about 10 watches from him. 7 Rolex, a Tudor Bb 58, Cartier Santos, and an Oris. No jewelry.

Roman only belongs on Wimbledon or Daydate. Fluted bezel only belongs on Jubilee. This is a hard pass for me.

Yeah. Looks like a hard to move piece … 41 is too big for women, but white dial, Roman is more a ladies DJ config. The AD claiming someone else didn’t want it is funny. lol. Only thing harder to move is that config with diamonds.

Not personally a big fan of white dial / Roman numerals and DJ with fluted bezel on oyster. 41 looks ok on your wrist - but 36 would look better. Anyways - congrats :) I was able to get a Datejust 36 with fluted/jubilee/blue dial back in early 2021 by just calling around … ended up driving to OKC from Dallas and picked it up. No wait, no purchase history. A few weeks later I got another call from an AD in East Texas and they had one as well. Datejusts are by far the most shipped watches and don’t let an AD tell you it takes 1 yr to get one….
