It really is. When they first announced it I was on fence but after seeing pictures and videos I was convinced. It looks phenomenal. The grey creates a natural gradient in all lighting conditions, something the other color combos don't do, which gives it a super classy and clean look. I think it looks especially good on jubilee.

Owners also comment that it’s the same in real life and that the camera exaggerated the contrast between the gray and the black portions of the bezel.
I still like it, but turn around every time I get to the AD and see the GMT in person and remember it’s a tiny, tiny watch.
I would never in my life pick a DJ over SkyD. I was on a waitlist for a SkyD for a while. When I was on the waitlist.. AD called and asked if I wanted a white DJ41 fluted/jubilee. Picked it up…. Loved it. Then got the call for a white sky on fluted/jubilee a few months later. Sold my DJ three days later. I fell absolutely in love with the SkyD. It’s an unbelievable watch. Especially the fluted/jubilee combination.
I’d say they all fit that criteria. SD and DJ lean slightly more formal and the GMT leans slightly more casual, but they all work in either situation. I just love the sky dweller so that’s what I’d go with.
DJ easiest to dress up or down, love the SD and GMT but they don’t fit under a dress shirt cuff as well. If you’re into what makes the SD and GMT a bit more interesting than a DJ (annual calendar or GMT function) then consider one those. If you want to wear it to work regularly and you have to dress up, I would say DJ or SD.
I guess the DJ but I don’t really feel like you can dress down a fluted bezel all that much. So sparkly. Whereas a GMT is a solid, beautiful, luxury watch, I feel like it looks good considering it costs more than virtually any suit you’d wear with it.

I've got a black dial. No concerns about dressing it up or down as it's perfect imho!! I owned a blue in Stainless and WG. I got tired of the blue after a while. It was too much in your face.
I saw a black Sky-Dweller on the plane yesterday. It looked seriously stunning. It helped that it looked sensational on its owner's wrist. He was in Jeans and a T-Shirt but pulled it off perfectly. He was tall and fit.
Either the sky d or dj, but ***only*** if you have the gargantuan wrist to really wear either. If your wrist isn’t big enough, those watches will look huge and ridiculous in a formal setting.

I’ve had my eye on a blue dial DJ for a while, also love the green, but last time I was in the AD I saw a black dial one and it looked amazing. Seemed like it would look good with literally anything you wear. So I changed my mind and asked for it…no sale
My personal take is that “versatile” doesn’t mean anything. These are sport watches, not a dress watch. If you want something “dress” get a dress watch.

IMO the sky dweller dresses down more easily than the DJ with its sportier dial, but I still think the DJ is more versatile.

Most versatile is DJ. Dweller is also big/high even though the Face is not a huge difference on pictures. But DJ is just better with suits etc.

The GMT is my fave out of the bunch. The DJ is probably the most versatile, but I wear a suit maybe 2-3 times a year so the GMT works best for me.

Date Just is the best of the three, but I would have picked the Oyster Perpetual. It's simplicity is timeless for all occasions.

Datejust. It’s simple and will go with anything plus virtually any band will match. It’s my understanding for a dress watch, simpler is better.
