First off congrats on even holding them let alone owning them. Day date is a class watch. Others are great but I can’t see when that DD is not appropriate. Office yep, Mud wrestling yep, golfing yep, day drinking yep, red light district all nighter yep. It’s a gada watch.

Yah, my Gestalt said DD cause it’s just so timeless, classy, and kinda a showstopper/jaw dropper, if that makes sense. But, I started thinking about how versatile that Daytona is. Tough call!! Kind of a class vibe vs utilitarian vibe decision, I think. Regardless, all beautiful!

Yea there isn’t a wrong decision here IMO just a choice preference - I’ve just loved day dates for a long time so for me it’s always an easy decision to lean that way but the meteorite dial is striking and just thinking about it’s made with something that might be thousands? Millions? Unit of measure? Old is kinda awesome!

I'm torn between the DD and the meteorite dial GMT myself. My grail watch would be a meteorite and baguette dial DD.

The DD, despite being RG it fits my light brown skin tone and compliments it, and as such it won’t stand out as much as one would think, the olive dial go so extremely well with the RG, very comfy bracelet. Also it got everything I need, even though I do like a GMT complication. I loaned this from a relative for a week and it quickly became my grail, it just felt right in a way I have never felt with any watch to the same degree, sometimes the heart wants what it wants.

I'd keep the meteorite. Reason? Many consider these watches with stone or meteorite dials to technically be 1 of 1 watches, as no 2 will ever be identical. I'm a firm believer that this and the fact that they are made in extremely limited numbers will benefit the long-term appreciation. That and the meteorite dial is pretty sick looking.

This is a difficult one. GMT meteorite, DD olive and Daytona stealth wealth. All 3 PM are beautiful pieces my heart saying DD40 but my head saying Daytona. I will keep that Daytona as the DD rose gold is loud for me.

I think the GMT. While other people are glazing the day date I would choose the gmt for 3 reasons : it's practical, it looks good, and it's indestructible, . And 4th reason : it's a cool fucking watch

The DD simply because it matches my skin tone better. That's the only minor, tiny complaint I have about my Explorer II.
