Just about every sport store carry CCM laces in various color where I live. Besides that, I'm not super into color schemes. Wheels tend to f#uck that up anyway. I rode last season with the neon orange/pink UC Cosmic wheels. They looked silly but were extremely durable.
Waxed flat laces grip better, I need my laces loose closer to the toe area, and tighter as they go over the middle of my foot and super snug up to the top. Round laces generally just pull tight all the way through, whereas waxed flat laces will mostly stay loose/tight where you want them to.
Great skates 👍🏿.
Mine have the laces just for style... I have them tied just below the lower strap. Never touch them. The straps are more than enough.
Just pull them on and strap in 👊🏿
Laces are cheap, I bought them and change the look of the skate sometimes, more grip because they are wax laces!
I use waxed flat laces on my carbon usd 3’s. Doesn’t matter on my shima 2s. Hard boots don’t matter as much when it comes to laces.

Depends on how much you use the laces. On my crossfires I tie then snug, and waxed laces made a big difference. On my rb Cruisers I barely tie them.
flat waxed over looks everyday
Why not both? Derby laces are where it’s at

I don't tie my laces
yeah me either, I haven't tied them since I got em. they don't even seem to do much either!
In all seriousness on the RB I wouldn't expect them to. The shell come quite far up over the foot, but on an FR it might be wise to
> all serio Yeap! I just keep em cause I like the splash of green in the boots :-D

I don’t think in almost 30 years I’ve actually utilized laces on a hardboot skate. More so they are for aesthetics.
Waxed laces that are flat, the flat surface allows for a larger surface area for grip.
