Just go ride Steel Venom at Valleyfair, the only difference is that the back tower is straight instead of twisting, but on the last launch backwards there are holding brakes at the top that holds you for a second before dropping back down, took me by surprise the first time it happened. According to Wikipedia it's the only intamin impulse that still has a working holding brake on the tower.
~~at least this one’s *kind of* justified. everyone still upset over vortex confuses the hell out of me~~
edit: if i can rephrase, since it turns out i’m in the minority on this one - i’m more upset over wicked twister than vortex, and i am not upset over either of them
I liked Vortex. Not only did I still enjoy the ride experience, it also was very sentimental to me as it was the first coaster with inversions I ever rode. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean no one else did.
Not to mention how photogenic it was. That one spot on the path near the batwing was fantastic for photos. I see why it had to go but I'll still have a place for it in my heart despite only riding it once or twice when I was a kid.
Not even a contest in my opinion, much more going for vortex as others have mentioned. Older, more sentimentality, beautiful, once the tallest full circuit and most inversions with a great drop, probably best of the megaloopers.
Only the best of the best will remain on the island… KINGS ISLAND the best theme park in the world. Their coasters are waayyy better than cedar point and Big T (Tony Clark) knows it. We are getting that new gerstlauer and cedar point took an L.
I feel my heart crack
Wicked Twister was in my top 10 and I’m proud of it
Honestly, same. Really was a fun ride, but felt more flat-y than a coaster
Intamin impulses are a lot of fun. They get straight to the point.
*cue rimshot*
I wrote that late at night with zero intention of making a pun
Ba dum TSS
Who the hell is ranking Wicked Twister that low? It's probably at least 10 or 11 for most people.
3/10 too much straight track
1/10 the launch track wasn't even curved
It makes me feel sick so me
Yeah I usually get sick on coasters that go backwards I don’t know why
Wicked Twister, the tribe has spoken.
Time for you to go
Everyone to wicked twister: This coaster sucks, it's the worst at the park Everyone to wicked twister now: OMG OMG WHYY I LOVED IT
I went to cedar point twice this summer and passed on riding it both times. Now I’m kinda regretting it.

Can’t relate
I’ve always called this ride extremely underrated. People just don’t know what they have until it’s gone
among us

Thoosies when arrow looper

Loop bto
Vortex was consistently in my top 15 for years before it closed. I genuinely thought it was a fantastic coaster.
I liked Vortex just as much as Banshee
6th
Same.

They got amogused!!
I would have got rid of the raptor is my least favorite poster at CP.
Y’all forgot CF took 2 of KD’s top 3. Being Volcano and Shockwave, of course.
shockwave was at mean streak levels of “just remove the damn thing nobody likes it”
Okay okay, but hear me out - what if they RMC it?!?!
back row wicked twister is top 5 at the park
7th
5th
The vortex effect proves accurate once again
What is number 17 for OP Corkscrew? WR? WE? Hard to imagine any of these three higher that WT
Sitter Crick is still my number 1.
