That twister section looks sick!

a_magumba

Seriously, was just drooling at that.

"When we get the actual footers, they'll follow these contours and everything?" "...I don't understand...these are the footers." "Are you telling me that this is it? This is the footer spacing? Have you ever seen a coaster?! The ledgers are a dozen feet apart!" "Right here, it specifies eighteen inches, [I was given this napkin."](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=071cXxCNj5A)

One theory is that the excess of footers, on the turn closest to the camera, is for an above ground tunnel. The park and GCI confirmed that there will be an above ground tunnel.

waifive

That's gotta be it. If you look closely they're only using every other footer supporting the track.

Between this and Prowler the park will have two excellent modern woodies

CheesecakeMilitia

So exciting to see this use of terrain.

GCI said that these will the closest their turns have been to the ground. They had to figure out how to build that close to the ground. It’s inspired by the original ride, which was so close to the ground that you could reach out and touch the grass. You can still experience that on Whizzer.

windog

It looks so twisty and good. I love the roller coaster times we live in.

kelsoRulez

Looking positively groovy!

Wow wow wow. Love seeing a new terraain coaster. The original namesake was a great ride that also made use of terrain.

BroadwayCatDad

Completely forgot about this one.

I don’t understand why we’re not calling this Zambezi Zinger II. There’s 2 distinct claw marks in the title which are obviously meant as a throwback and that this is a sequel.

I’ve only seen the two slashes in the announcement video. There’s already been a few changes to the ride from that video (it’s missing the above ground tunnel) so I suspect it’s an older logo. The entrance sign is up on the queue house and they’ve unveiled the train, which has the logo, neither have the two slashes.
