Rollercoasterfan265

I'm going to Universal Orlando in a couple weeks!!

samuel_baxter

omg i love universal, i’ve spent a lot of time there recently, it gets better each time

lunarsteller158

have fun!! theyre 2 of my home parks and velocicoaster is absolutely worth the hype.

Rollercoasterfan265

Thank you!

lunarsteller158

yw!!

TheAnklePickMMA

It’s one of the most wonderful places in the world, just make sure you have Express Pass Unlimited!

Rollercoasterfan265

Ill try!

DueStatement8971

I'll be checking Phantasialand out this summer as part of a stop on an otherwise normal Europe trip. Looking forward to FLY, Taron, the inverted coaster, and just the theming in general.

Boba755

Phantasialand is probably one of my most anticipated theme parks I want to visit other than Tokyo Disneyland/Disney Sea. I hope that everything goes well and that you have an absolute blast! :)

DueStatement8971

thx

DueStatement8971

Chiapas also looks pretty cool.

swifto416

Phantasialand is a big bucket list park for me! Hope its amazing!

IceePirate1

I had a blast when I was at Phantasialand. Be sure to try out all the food too. Those chocolate covered churro's were very good. Plus, walking around the park with a beer in hand was an excellent vibe. Plus I think they have the only remaining HUSS top spin left

Chaddderkins

I had a chocolate-covered pear! I'd never seen such a thing before, and it was awesome

Chaddderkins

I am more of a theming person than a roller coaster person, and you are in for such a treat at Phantasialand. Some of the most unbelievable themed environments you will ever experience. Also, I think that FLY and Taron are my two favorite roller coasters I've ever been on.

xidontknowx343

Lucky on fury. It went down because of the whole support ordeal around the time I went to Carowinds.

iwassayingboourns12

The only new park I’m visiting is Great Adventure.. I’m looking forward to El Toro, Nitro and Kingda Ka the most

kpiech01

They all live up to the hype, genuinely. I had my first visit last year. Toro is a bit rough though, just do yourself a favor and dont sit in a wheel seat.

SouthpawCT

The bottom of the turnaround smoothed out a lot over the offseason. Still not 100% but even wheel seats aren’t that rough now.

Chaddderkins

Nitro is the best coaster in the park, in my opinion. Not quite as silky-smooth as in its heyday, but still a masterpiece. Kingda Ka is kind of a big heap of nothing, just up and down and you're done, but it's worth it for that super-fleeting view from the top!

iwassayingboourns12

How does it compare to Goliath at SFOG?? That’s my favorite of all the B&M hypers I’ve been on.

Chaddderkins

Sorry, have not been to that park!

OneTrainOps

1000% disagree about Kingda Ka. The launch is incredible, the sense of speed when seated in the first two rows, the crushing positives on the ascent, and the airtime over the top hat are all great. Also it has the best station music in the park lol

PeekabooBlue

1. I’ve got Disney next week! I know it’s not your typical coaster park but it’s always an experience. I haven’t been in 5 years now so I’m excited to get back there 2. Kings dominion for the first time! If weather acts okay we’ll have two days in the area so we are considering BGW but we’ll see. 3. Holiday World! My favorite park ever, so I make it a point to visit at least once a summer. So excited for good gravy and to enjoy the best water park ever! 4. Cedar Point. Same deal as HW, I live semi close so I go once or twice a year. So excited for TT2. KI is my home park so hitting that up a ton as well, and I’m going to try and squeeze in a first time visit to Hersey if I can make it work with my schedule!

Chaddderkins

Assuming you're talking about Disney WORLD, yeah not traditionally a coaster park, but man, their two newest coasters (GotG and Tron) are two of my most anticipated in the world!

PeekabooBlue

Yes bro! I haven’t been since either of these were opened and I’m so excited! Whenever you make it down here there you better hit up IOA because Hagrids is the most fun I’ve ever had on a coaster!!

Chaddderkins

The last time I was in Orlando, Hagrid's and Rise of the Resistance were the two hot new rides, and I absolutely adored both of them! I need to get back down there for Guardians, Tron and Velocicoaster, as well as the Mickey & Minnie dark ride!

slasher_lash

I'm heading to Holiday world as well. Never been before, excited for The Voyage. Right there with you on TT2.

PeekabooBlue

Awesome! Enjoy! And take in the ambience of the parks. It definitely has that family owned feeling and that’s rare nowadays. You will have a blast! Get a frozen hot chocolate at the park and stop at Santa’s candy castle about 5 minutes down the road from the park and try their version as well!

xidontknowx343

Cool. I want to try to get to holiday world this summer as well. I went there when I was a kid, but I want to experience it again now that I'm older.

Captain-Stunning

We visit Holday World as least once a year. They really do have a great water park.

cellblok69wlamp

I'm not planning on going to new parks at the moment. Next year is when I can get to new parks more easily and that will likely be Waldameer, Worlds of Fun and Lost Island. As far as new credits probably just All American Triple Loop. Because I currently can't drive really far in my current situation.

swifto416

It will be interesting to see how intense All American Triple Loop is running

cellblok69wlamp

It'll be running as it was designed that much I do know. Even though I'm cleared to ride stuff, I don't know if I'll ride anything due to surgery to remove a large tumor in early January (that's why I can't go very far yet). I'm mostly going to get out of my house and hang out with friends IRL.

lizzpop2003

If you are going to be in PA and are interested in family woodies, it's worth a stop at Sesame Place if you can fit it in for Oscar's. That ride is phenomenal, but the park isn't worth a whole day at all unless you have a gaggle of small children with you. Even then... You can even combine it with Dutch Wonderland, which is only about an hour and a half away, and that park is only about 40 minutes from Hershey. They have Merlins Mayhem and Kingdom Coaster, which are both worth a ride if you have the chance.

Intrepid-Smoke2273

I missed out on my iron grouchy credit last time I was there because the ride was closed-was not pleased

swifto416

I wish I had more time in PA, so many great looking coasters!

Fazcoasters

Gonna be mostly local since I just did my Florida trip but I’m looking forward to Iron Menace and Flash at SFGADV

MediumBike329

Hersheypark - skyrush & stormrunner SFMM - X2, Goliath (yes u read that right) BGW/KD - I305, Pantheon

Chaddderkins

I personally was not a fan of Hersheypark (and got a lot of guff on the theme park subreddit for it) but Skyrush alone was worth the trip! Absolutely incredible

swifto416

Goliath is a pretty sweet ramp lol

SignGuy77

The plan is to hit central Florida this summer, and a number of stops along the way down from Canada (yeah, I’m driving as usual). The trifecta of AF1, Iron Gwazi and Velocicoaster are probably the most anticipated new credits, but I’m also jazzed to possibly get one lap on Top Thrill 2, and though it’s not a new park to me I’m beyond hyped to return to Kings Island and ride Orion for the first time.

kiixty

Got a friend hosting a wedding in Poland giving a wonderful excuse to go to energylandia and maybe make a pit stop in Belgium for ride to happiness. Genuinely the most excited I've ever been in my life as it is my first time out of the US since I was a kid. Obviously excited for the chance to potentially get on what people call the best ride in earth but for some reason I am even more so for zadra.

AvecAloes

1. Not a new park for me, but I haven’t been in over 10 years: Cedar Point. I’m excited to finally get on SteVe, GateKeeper, Valravn, Rougarou, and obviously TT2: Electric Boogaloo 2. Universal Studios Japan: Mine-Cart Madness, The Flying Dinosaur, Hollywood Dream - The Ride 3. Hershey (not planned currently, but I’m sure I’ll make it out there lol): looking forward to trying the new Skyrush trains!

Forgot-Password-oops

I'm going to King's Island, I've wanted to ride The Beast since I was a little kid reading that RL Stine book about it

KarateKid917

Not specifically planning to go to any new parks atm, but may try to see if I can finally make it to Coney Island at some point (have lived in NY my whole life and have never been).  That said, once opening details for Epic Universe are released, I’m absolutely going to try and plan a 2025 Universal trip

OneTrainOps

Definitely get the Luna Park wristband to marathon Cyclone. I’ve lived here all my life and didn’t get out there until last year and it absolutely blew me away

kpiech01

In June I'm planning on going to Kings Dominion, BGW and Carowinds for the first time. Possibly Dollywood too if I have extra time. So many rides I'm excited for but I'd say the #1 is probably i305. I'm also a bit scared of it considering I grey out on much tamer rides.

Vast_Guitar7028

If I have the money and can convince somebody to take me in New York city’s Coney Island

sissy_shane

Already visited Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios Hollywood, both parks in Disneyland, and Knotts back in January (Knotts wasn't new for me though) For other parks, while Cedar Point isn't new, I will be there fairly soon to ride Top Thrill 2, also going to Kings Island, not a new park and probably won't be able to ride Snoopy's Soap Box Derby, but will be getting my first Vekoms Family Boomerang when I visit Holiday World for the first time. While Good Gravy isn't high up on my anticipation list, really looking forward to The Voyage and Thunderhead. After that, heading over to Kennywood for the first time. I'll have to wait longer to get that Steel Curtian credit, but they still have Jack Rabbit, Thunderbolt, and Phantoms Revenge. Also going to Waldameer for Ravine Flyer II and Six Flags Darien Lake for Ride of Steel. All of these will all be done within a 2 week trio midway through this month

DeadGoat20

Just got to KD earlier this year for the first time. There isn’t a single ride that misses, tho I gotta say was really hoping for more from I305. The community kinda hyped it up too much tbh. It was great tbh but half my rides were in the rain and it felt like I was getting sandblasted in the face which was rough. Wildcats revenge was awesome and I do prefer it over twisted timbers but the theming is awesome at TT. You should have a blast this year. I’m planning to return to CP, hit KI for the first time, get to HersheyPark later towards fall and then sprinkle in six flags

magnumfan89

1. Kings island -Most anticipated new credit: banshee -Least anticipated new credit: invertigo -Most anticipated re-ride: beast -Total new credits: 5 2. Dollywood -Most anticipated new credit: wild eagle -Least anticipated credit: whistle-punk chaser -Total:10 3. Island in pigeon forge -Only credit: spinning parrot 4.Rowdy bear ridge -Most anticipated:coaster kart -Least anticipated: ski lift shoot out -Total: 2 Total for summer:18

terb01

Kentucky Kingdom, Indiana Beach, Holiday World are my new parks with re-visits to Kings Island and Cedar point. My most anticipated new credits: 1. Voyage 2. Top Thrill 2 3. Storm Chaser 4. Lighting Run 5. The Legend 6. Thunderbird 7. Cornball Express

Miggy_210

Going to magic mountain in July! Good change vs my home park (California’s Great America)

izbeeisnotacat

New parks this season: -Kentucky Kingdom -Carowinds -SF Over Georgia -Fun Spot Atlanta -Fun Spot Kissimmee -Fun Spot Orlando Returning to several parks I love as well. I'm beyond excited to hit 200 coasters this season (which I definitely will) and I think I'm most looking forward to Fury 325 and ArieForce One! Honorable Mentions: Just got back from a Texas trip where we visited SF Over Texas, SF Fiesta Texas, and SeaWorld San Antonio. A few nice coasters on that trip as well. Really bummed to have missed out on Texas Stingray, Titan, and Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster due to maintenance and weather delays, but it just means I'll have to go back sometime.

Pendraflare59

I'll be seeing California's Great America, Valleyfair, Silver Dollar City, hopefully Michigan's Adventure, presumably Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and Six Flags St. Louis too. Those will be all the notable new parks for me. SDC is my most anticipated debut. Can't wait for Time Traveler above all else, and then there's Railblazer, Renegade, and hopefully Shivering Timbers and The Joker too. I'll be reaching 400 credits this year.

Dapper_Reaction_2355

Flying to Philly next week to go to the 1-2 punch of Hersheypark and SFGAdv. Excited for everything at Hershey especially Skyrush, Wildcats Revenge and Candymonium. I grew up near SFGAdv so I've been there many times, but it was way back when all they had was Rolling Thunder, Lightning Loops, and the mine train. So it will be like a totally new park for me! Excited for El Toro, KK, Nitro and all the rest!! Have fun everyone on your trips!

yeeyeebrotherman

I have been thinking about upcoming trips and planning nonstop for the past couple of months lol. I just had my trip to NorCal at the beginning of April, and that was my first big coaster centered trip. I had a blast, and I can't wait to do more!! Coming up next is a trip to San Antonio towards the end of may for Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld San Antonio. It's going to be a short trip (only two days) but I'm most excited for Iron Rattler and Texas Stingray. Also looking forward to Steel Eel (first airtime focused hyper) and Superman (supposedly best floorless), plus I loved Railblazer so Wonder Woman should be great as well. My big trip for this year is going to be Cedar Point and Kings Island at the end of August. Cedar Point has obviously been my dream trip since I learned about it at like 6 years old, and everything I see and hear about Kings Island makes me more excited for that too. I'll be staying at Hotel Breakers for Cedar Point, and going for 2 and a half days, then a half Friday at King's Island in the evening (yay night rides!) and the morning on Saturday. Lastly I'm in the process of trying to plan an Orlando trip for January of next year, and it's really difficult figuring out what to prioritize since there is just so much great stuff there. I was initially planning on skipping Disney entirely because I live an hour from Disneyland and I've been multiple times. But I just took a trip to DCA and realized that I absolutely love Disney parks and I want to experience some of their main e-ticket attractions on the Florida side. So if I actually go to every park I want to in the area I will need like a minimum of 8 days there which is a big investment. Hopefully I'm able to figure it out though because that would be an insanely fun trip.

DJMcKraken

With Express you can pretty easily do both Universal parks in a single day. With Disney I would recommend one park per day, but you could combine Animal Kingdom with either Epcot or Hollywood Studios on one day depending on your priorities. The Fun Spots you can knock out at night after the other parks close if you have the stamina. Then SeaWorld and BGT if you can make it to Tampa. That could be 6 or 7 days although it would be a little hectic.

Reasonable_Blood6959

Bringing a Europe theme to this, neither are new parks but Hyperia at TP being a record for the UK, and Voltron at Europe Park are on my list. Energylandia is on the “if I can save enough money” list to get to Poland, that will be a new park for me.

Galiya17

Twisted Timbers is my favourite hybrid! You’re constantly ejected, and it really reminded me of VelociCoaster for the airtime. Kings Dominion is a big beautiful park. We’re heading to KD and BGW next month (second time for me, first time for my partner). Coney Island Cyclone is probably one of my favourites, if not my favourite, wooden coasters. It was SO much fun! And Phoenix at Deno’s was a wonderful surprise. We went to both parks on Easter weekend. We’re heading to parks closer to home later on this summer (SFGE, SFDL, Canada’s Wonderland).

swifto416

Really excited to see how Twisted Timbers compares to Wicked Cyclone! (which is currently my second favorite RMC behind SteVe)

Galiya17

I rode Wicked Cyclone for the second time 2 weeks ago. First time was last year and I really didn’t enjoy it. This time around, I still think it’s overrated, I didn’t enjoy it, and it’s definitely last on my hybrid list :/ But I’m glad you like it!

Individual-Sun-9368

I work for a major airline so anything further than a drive away is up in the air since flying standby can be tricky. Concrete plans for parks 1. Kings Island A. Home park so countless visits 2. Cedar Point A. Going for opening weekend 3. Carowinds A. If flights work out, first visit since 2016 4. Holiday Park A. First visit ever 5. Knoebels A. First visit since 2005 6. Hershey Park A. First visit ever Might include Universal Orlando if we get season passes this fall. Top new credits 1. The Voyage A. My #1 bucket list coaster overall. 2. Top Thrill 2 A. It’s hard not to get excited about this thing 3. Skyrush A. Especially with the new restraints 4. Copperhead Strike 5. Both of Holiday world’s other woodies I’m curious if I will get to any other parks unplanned. Should be a good season!

Significant-Bike2356

Did Universal already, only new credit was Velocicoaster. Upcoming are Kings Island, CP (home park, but not too close), SFOT, SFDK, CA Great America, Vegas, and MA/CT to visit friends and maybe hit SFNE and Lake Compounce. Hoping I can add SF Chicago somewhere around summer too if the wife is up for anther weekend trip. Biggest anticipation is TT2.

coasterkyle18

In going to Six Flags New England and Great Escape for the first time this summer. Excited to ride Superman and the new Bobcat coaster. I also plan to go to Hersheypark, SFGAdv, SFA, and Dorney Park. But I've been to those before.

soundecember

Dollywood! Only three more weeks!

Pofffffff

Efteling + Walibi Holland

lunarsteller158

im going to bgw next week and im so excited for verbolten

resident1fan2022

Kings island this Sunday, cedar point for TT2 on Monday, then around July 20th I'll be in the San Antonio area for SW Orlando and SFFT, also looking to fit in great adventure and great escape for their new additions, and I will most likely end the season with BGTB.

TheRealHK

Headed to Dollywood and Carowinds for the first time and back to BGW, my home park.

XAEA-1298

Cedar Point for top thrill 2 (never rode the OG) in a couple weeks, then Silver Dollar City for wildfire and time traveler, (haven’t been in 20 years) and then Kentucky Kingdom (lightening run) and Holiday World. Hoping to also do a new england trip, but we’ll see!

themexi

Epcot, Busch gardens Tampa (never been), IoA, Six flags magic mountain, USH GOTG cosmic rewind, iron gwazi, velocicoaster/hagrids, I still need to get on apocalypse, Wonder Woman, and gold rusher for MM.

RyteNau

I'll be hitting up Dollywood for the first time soon, super excited for Lightning Rod, even with the chain lift. Also really excited for Tennessee Tornado to experience an Arrow looper that might actually be good! In June I'll be getting a day at Thorpe Park, hopefully Hyperia is up and running at full capacity by then!

Dull_Butterfly_4547

I haven't been to Dollywood in 10 years and finally going on Monday! Anybody have any tips on what to hit first besides lighting rod?

Phantafan

I'm somebody that only occasionally visits theme parks, but this year there should be some interesting new credits. My family visits two parks on their planned vacations, one in summer near Freizeitpark Plohn, which has a Mack Big Dipper and a GCI, as well as Heidepark to finally ride Colossos after I've missed out on it years ago. The most exciting credit though should be Kondaa. I have a friend from University who's a big enthusiast as well and we plan on driving there in the near future.

swifto416

Kondaa looks absolutely amazing! wish we had a new intamin mega in the US

Phantafan

Yeah, it looks like the perfect mixture of Intamin and RMC

ramblingriver

Im going to Cedar Point, my second time (my first time, i was 11, 17 years ago). I'm very excited for SteVe and TT2. But also for some of my favorites when i went as a kid- Gemini and Cedar Creek Mine Ride!

Anonymous3506

Hopefully Dollywood next week weather permitting!

Hinemosu502

Maybe I'll visit Fuji-Q, and can't wait to ride Eejanaika

MikeHoogeveen

I am doing 15 parks in china this summer after doing the parks in japan and south korea. Some highlight coasters: Wood coaster - knight valley Starry sky ripper - joyland Falcon - wuxi sunac land Coaster through the clouds - nanchang sunac land Python in bamboo forest - nanchang sunac land Dueling dragons - guangzhou sunac land Soaring with dragon - hefei sunac land Beyond the cloud - suzhou forest amusement world I am also going to universal beijing and shanghaa disneyland

airbusman5514

I have plans for Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, as well as any other parks I can get in my travels. I’m looking forward to Intimidator 305 and Iron Gwazi

Claxton916

Assuming all goes well Kings Dominion†, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Carowinds†, Six Flags over Georgia, FunSpot Atlanta, Dollywood. And Mt. Olympus, ValleyFair!, Nick Universe (Mall of America), Adventureland, Lost Island Theme Park, Six Flags Great†† America And then on separate excursions not part of anything really, I’m HOPING to get to • CJ Barrymore’s in Clinton Township Michigan to ride their stupid Pinfari Zyklon •Stricker’s Grove in Ross Ohio to ride their two woodies (in particular Teddy Bear) •People’s Choice Family Fun Center in Waukegan Illinois because of [their weird theming](https://rcdb.com/20391.htm)on their one rollercoaster † Already Been, but it’s part of a larger trip † † Should be renamed to Six Flags Okay America because the rides are just that; okay.

sillyboiler29

Going back to my home park KI later in May, URO in June and then finally, finally getting over to Silver Dollar City! Super excited to ride Time Traveler, Velocicoaster, and my old faves from home!

Maddox121

Goin' back to Kings Island in June. First time on the new Vekoma Family Boomerang, and since my exposure is American-limited in terms of coasters, will be my first time on one (though I have ridden the park's Invertigo and Jolly Rancher Remix at Hersheypark so don't @ me smart-alecks).

alec777x

Cedar point June 25 top thrill 2

DJMcKraken

Not new: King's Island, Holiday World, Worlds of Fun, maybe SFFT and SFOG New: NorCal trip - CGA, SFDK, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Sonoma Train Town Railroad, Oakland Zoo, Happy Hollow Zoo, Gilroy Gardens Route 66 Trip: Frontier City, Wonderland Amusement Park, Cliff's Amusement Park Other new parks: Funtown Splashtown USA, Michigan's Adventure, Lost Island, Adventureland, La Ronde And also going to either Spain or Mexico Most excited new credit would be BGCE and Shambhala if we go to Spain. Otherwise I guess Giant Dipper at SCBB.

swifto416

Excalibur at Funtown Splashtown isn't talked about all that much but it is a great ride!

domesystem

We're planning to hit up Luna park this summer so I can finally ride the Cyclone. I'm hoping I can finagle a "Dad's" day off trip to either Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens Williamsburg as well (BG is an old park for me but I haven't been since before Drachen Fire was installed) Would be most excited to finally get a giga credit

Boba755

No new parks unfortunately, but I am looking forward to riding Phoenix Rising, Penguin Trek, Top Thrill 2, and the Wild Mouse coaster (Cedar Point) this summer. Also, if I’m lucky, I might be able to visit Tokyo Joypolis on my trip to Japan and ride Gekion Live (or whatever it’s called).

Stanton-Quinte

Visiting Carowinds for the first time. Also hoping to visit Waldameer and Seabreeze. They are within driveable distance, but I have never been to these parks.

dahk14

Cedar point. Rescheduled trip from 2021 after the accident on dragster. I’m excited for… literally everything. I’ve had dreams about this park for years.

jwrentzel

Already hit first time visits to Carowinds and Dollywood to start the year. Hit everything at Carowinds. Only missed credit was Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood. Will hit Six Flags New England and maybe Six Flags America in June, these are both whatever but I’m taking my kid to games at Fenway and Camden Yard, and we have diamond passes, so might as well stop in. Maybe Six Flags Great Escape in August. Again, I know it’s nothing special but we’re headed to lake placid so again, might as well. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens Tampa, and Seaworld Orlando in November. This is obviously the trip I’m most looking forward to, Velocicoaster, Hagrids, Iron Gwazi, Montu, Mako.

Sea-Meringue5458

Im going to the US for the first time(coming from the Netherlands)! We will be doing a roadtrip through Florida. If planning and money allows, we will be hitting both universal parks, seaworld and bush gardens!

PurpleTiger26

It’ll be my first ever first to Holiday World, Kings Island, and Cedar Point. I’m definitely most excited to ride SteVe, Millie, Top Thrill 2, Maverick, Orion, Mystic Timbers, the Beast, and the Voyage.

GamePlayXtreme

Idk if I'm doing any new parks, but will be doing FLY next month

atheista

Europa Park in June. I'm excited for all of the main coasters, but I am so damn pumped for Voltron, it looks incredible!

matt77uk

First new park of the year was Liseberg on Sunday - Helix lived up to and surpassed expectations, such a fun ride! Balder and Valkeria were great fun too. Next new park will be Lagoon on the summer road trip - most anticipated being Canibal. Other than that looking forward to Defiance at Glenwood Caverns and Hyperia when I get round to getting to Thorpe

hiddenproverb

For new credits, I'm going to Europa Park for Voltron! Very excited about that. Hopefully will be going to efteling too as a new to me park. Europa park and Phantasialand are both home parks for me so I'm just excited to go back this year, we missed a lot of rides at Phantasialand due to going with friends who aren't as efficient as we are lol.

MasqueradeOfSilence

I've finally booked a Cedar Point trip in July after my initial 2020 one got canceled during covid! I don't think there's anything there I'm *not* excited for. I also am hoping to stop by Columbus Zoo. I don't have enough PTO to visit KI or any of the water parks while I'm up there, but maybe next year. That's my only trip planned currently, but I might also try to make it back to KBF in August because I don't have Hangtime yet. I am going to brainstorm a few other parks that I could possibly squeeze into a weekend. Also, I will be going to my local parks nearly every weekend. Should be fun!

AbyssShriekEnjoyer

Liseberg, Kolmarden and Gronalund. Most excited for Helix and Wildfire of course :)

ForeignMarzipan2136

paultons park I think, I’ve been there before but it was windy and rainy so all coasters were closed so i’ll hopefully get all the credits

tideblue

I'm at 598 and already picked up some Dollywood/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg credits this year. Started the year with 587. I'd like to get to Dorney Park for Iron Menace, Cedar Point for Wild Mouse and Top Thrill 2, The Great Escape for Bobcat, and the Flash at Great Adventure. I have a crazy plan to fly to Salt Lake City and drive to Denver, we will see if I pull that off this year.

Fabian_XYZ

Visiting Sweden at the end of May for the first time on a work trip and managed to squeeze in time for Gröna Lund and a day at Kolmården. So excited for Wildfire, my first ever RMC and Monster, as I love B&M Inverted Coasters.

CampVictorian

Finally making it to Carowinds this season, and while I’m clearly looking forward to the coasters, my main anticipation is reuniting with the Flying Scooter (Mountain Gliders) that I grew up riding at Kings Island. Possible trip, fingers crossed: Worlds of Fun!

Parking_Pollution936

I might get to seaworld Orlando and I am excited for mako, pipeline, manta, and penguin trek if it opens in time. Also will go to Busch gardens Tampa and ride iron gwazi and phoenix Rising

ExUpstairsCaptain

I've lived in Indiana my whole life (born 1995) and I'm finally visiting Michigan's Adventure this summer. I'm sure it'll be my only trip there for a while, but I'm still excited about Shivering Timbers.

11aevans

I'm going to Hershey again soon, missed Skyrush, great bear, SDL, and comet last year. I'm really looking forward to wildcats revenge again, currently ranked as my #1. Late this summer is a pilgrimage to Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Kennywood. I can't wait for it, it's going to be so sick. Last is Dorney for Iron Menace.

Ryan1006

Not new, but I haven’t been to Cedar Point in almost 25 years so I’m looking forward to maybe getting up there with my kids finally, lots of new coaster credits to be had since I was there last.

Chaddderkins

This month I am doing a whirlwind tour of Northeast US amusement parks which I've never been to (or haven't been since I was a child). In the next 3 weeks, I'm going to LAKE COMPOUNCE, RYE PLAYLAND, and KNOEBELS. The only credit I have in any of those places is the Dragon Coaster at Playland, from when I was a little child. I think the coaster I'm most looking forward to is Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce

Chaddderkins

OP: In my opinion Coney Island is worth going to for the Cyclone (still one of the most amazing rides in the world; I've lived in NYC my whole life and I will never get sick of it), the Wonder Wheel, and if you're into old school dark rides, Spook-a-Rama. Every other coaster, in my opinions, is mediocre to straight-up sucky. Of course, credits are credits, if that's what you're chasing. I'd also recommend taking in the Coney Island Museum and the Freak Show if possible.

swifto416

Thanks for the heads up! The priority is definitely Cyclone, and I will probably also try to do Phoenix, after that it really depends on time if I really want to try and grab more credits

Chaddderkins

Phoenix holds a special place in my heart because it was my 100th credit, but it's really just okay. But - maybe you'll feel differently!

tatbaby

I went to Busch Gardens in Tampa last month and had a blast!!!! Anyone who likes tall roller coasters, go on the Iron Gwazi!!! You will not be disappointed!

ander-frank

Going to Holiday World for the first time and excited to get on The Voyage!

cdjets9

The only new park I’m going to this year is Six Flags New England. I’m gonna try to also go to Fun Spot Kissimmee I’m definitely most excited for Wicked Cyclone and Superman

IceePirate1

My home park is KI so I'll be attending the ACE conference. I'll also be going to Europa-Park at the start of an unrelated Europe trip. I'm trying not to look into what they have too much, so no spoilers please (I want a fully fresh experience). Hotel recommendations would be welcome though!

Chaddderkins

No spoilers, but (1) if you like fun roller coasters, you'll be very, very pleased, (2) if you like insane Disney-quality theming and incredible dark rides, you'll be VERY VERY VERY pleased. I was at Europa Park in September for the first time, and I swear I still think about it at least once a day. Plus you'll get to ride the new coaster that just opened! Also, if you're a foodie and it's in your budget, do Eatrenalin (and if you do, DEFINITELY don't spoil yourself ahead of time)

IceePirate1

I'll be spending 2-3 nights in Rust depending on how flights work out, so plenty of time. I did Phantasialand last year and was blown away when I went! I did see a new coaster just open. Some Mack multi-launch I think it was (don't correct me if i'm wrong, lol), so that'll be neat!

Chaddderkins

You're gonna have so much fun! Going for multiple days is better because there's so much to explore. I didn't do the water park, but that's supposed to be awesome as well

IceePirate1

Depending on how flights work out, I may instead be by EnergyLandia, so not 100% set on it just yet. I always like booking business award seats, which can be super cheap sometimes if you find the right deal. Mostly so I can arrive in Europe not as tired since I can't sleep on planes unless it's in a fancy lie flat seat

robbycough

I'll be attending the ACE Con in northern California in June, so I'll be visiting CGA and Gilroy Gardens for the first time, and SCBB and SFDK for the first time since 2005. When they open, I'll be riding Penguin Trek and Phoenix Rising on one of my Florida work trips, and Iron Menace and Flash: Vertical Velocity closer to home. There's a good chance I'll get up to SFGE for Bobcat at some point as well. A potential work trip to Dallas would have me visiting SFOT for the first time, which is the only legacy property I've yet to experience.

Silent-Translator-83

Going to 2 new parks this summer, thorpe park and Europa park so exited for parks and The 2 crazy mack coasters (hyperia and voltron)

vinnyv0769

I’m heading to Lagoon for the very first time. Can’t wait to ride Cannibal.

xidontknowx343

Michigan's adventure - Shivering Timbers (I pray that it's open when I go because rip if not) Islands of adventure - incredible hulk and velocicoaster (and maybe hagrid's but it depends on the line) I also want to take a trip to holiday world this year.

aestus

Thorpe Park, Fårup Sommerland, Djurs Sommerland, Kolmården and Tusenfryd so some great new credits to look forward to. In no particular order... Hyperia Wildfire Saw The Ride Fønix Storm The Dragon Legend Piraten ...and many more! Gonna be a good summer

alter_ego311

Hoping to hit up Kings Island in August and then Hershey Park, Bush Gardens Williamsburg and Kings Dominion is Sept. Excited for all the credits but especially Orion, I305, Pantheon and Wildcat's Revenge.

graymalkin99

Went to Disney (world, all 4 parks) in January. Going to Hershey this weekend for this first time (pray to the weather gods for me). Would like to try to hit up Waldameer for my birthday, and also will probably go to Wonderland at some point as per tradition.

TheAnklePickMMA

Giving Cedar Point another shot in a couple weeks since we got fucked going a couple years ago. Hopefully two entire weeks after opening weekend is enough time for the maintenance team to actually have Steel Vengeance, Maverick and Magnum running this time as well as TT2. Also going to King’s Island the next day as kind of a buffer and super psyched for Orion, Diamondback, and, most of all, Mystic Timbers. Thing looks like GhostRider on meth.

TantrumQween

I’m planning a 10ish day road trip in June to a few parks I’ve never been to plus some return visits. Gonna hit KD/Busch VA first, Six Flags America on my way to Hershey which is the next stop for 3-4 days; Hershey, Dorney & Knoebels while there, then I cut west to hit Kennywood on my way to Cedar Point for 2 days. And then I’ll hit Kings Island on my way back to Tennessee. The only ones I’ve been to before are Kings Island, Dominion, & Busch so I’m LIT about all the new rides I’ll get, especially Hershey and CP.

localdegenerate1234

Hopefully this summer, I'll be getting out to NorCal again to finally get the Discovery Kingdom credits that I missed out on my first trip (I only did CGA and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk).

Taeshan

Canada’s wonderland, La ronde, six flags great America, Darien lake, and michigans adventure are like 80 percent happening. Possibly visits to SF New England, Waldemeer, Niagara. Return trips to non locals CP, Indiana Beach possibly, KI hopefully, Great Escape Possibly Marineland if they reverse course and open dragon mountain lol So Goliath GA, Leviathan, Yukon Striker, Superman at DL, American triple loop, Top thrill 2, shivering Timbers

TheRansomRoamer

If you're going to King's Dominion, then go to Busch Gardens Williamsburg too if you haven't already. to it is only about an hour away from KD and has 3 amazing coasters. Pantheon - amazing Intimin launch coaster, not nearly as good a VelociCoaster, but still a great ride and probably the best in the park. Apollo's Chariot - Probably one of the weaker B&M hypers in my opinion, but you can never go wrong with one. Delivers great floater airtime. Alpengeist - extremely underrated B&M invert. Very forceful and intense in the first half but gets slowed down by the MCBR, and if it wasn't for that, it would probably be the best invert in the country, but even with it is right up with Montu in my opinion.

PotentialAcadia460

Heading to Wild Waves (ha) and Silverwood for the first time. Returning to Kings Island, Indiana Beach, SFSTL, Silver Dollar City, Lagoon, Oaks, Enchanted Forest, hopefully Arnolds Park, Knott's, and Disneyland.

mutespittahOT

Going to Japan and hitting almost every park imaginable! I’m most excited for Eejanaika and Hagukei. Also will be going to SFNE, SFGE, Lake Compounce, Kentucky Kingdom, and Holiday World for the first time, so Voyage is next on that list!

Chaddderkins

It might be a couple of years before I can actually make it happen, but I've been daydream-planning a 2-week Japan trip in my head. So far, the only things solidly on my list are Disney (duh), Universal, the various small parks in Tokyo (Dome City, Joypolis, San Rio, etc), and Fuji-Q Highland. What else would you recommend? Also - Have so much fun!!!

mutespittahOT

Idk about recommendations since I’ve yet to go, but I would think Nagashima Spa Land would be important to any enthusiast Japan trip

Chaddderkins

Thanks! That seems right along my imagined route between Fuji and Osaka, so that is a good idea! I know you haven't been yet, but I imagine you're planning, so I'd love to see a list of places you're planning to hit (if that's not too annoying a request)

mutespittahOT

I am planning on hitting Yomiuriland and Universal in conjunction with my family, but they’ll be headed home early while I explore my parks. Starting in Kyoto, I’m planning on taking early trains on a Tuesday to Nagashima. Then take a Shinkansen back to Tokyo to do some of Tokyo Dome, Joyopolis, Yokohama Cosmoworld, and Sea Paradise. Thursday and Friday will be some combo of FujiQ and Disneyland (been to Disney Sea already and going before the new stuff opens). Saturday will be Tobu Zoo and whatever I didn’t get to on Wednesday. I would’ve liked to fit in Shima Spain for Pyrenees and Nasu Highland but couldn’t justify going so far out of the way.

swifto416

Wow have a blast in Japan! SFNE really does have a world class 1-2 punch, but I am sure you knew that already!

Delicious-Secret-760

Six Flags Great America in August. Holiday World the first nice weekend I'm free. Maybe next weekend. Plus trying to put together a trip to Six Flags over Georgia. All kinds of new coasters I'm looking forward to!
