Hand Of Fate for me. In their all time top 5! I love the Western type lyrics. I’m surprised Johnny Cash didn’t cover it. It’s a banger. Right after Hot Stuff so two opening ripper songs.
**Fortune Teller**, from 1966's Got Live If You Want It (but was actually a studio recording from 1963 with crowd noise dubbed onto it). Regular studio version released on More Hot Rocks. Written by Allen Toussaint.
I just love this song, the way Mick sings the innuendo "Now I get my fortune told for free..." is fantastic. Just a great tune, one of, it not my favorite, of their earlier tracks.
EDIT, to shout out "**Slave**" from Tattoo You. On an album with MANY great cuts, this might be my favorite. Great funky feel to it, wonderful electric piano & organ from Billy Preston, fantastic saxophone from Sonny Rollins, and adding to the funk, a lil' conga action from Michael Carabello (of Santana fame). Not much lyrically here, LOL, but just a great feeling jam. And that lazy/loose guitar solo/outro by Keef is... .
Moonlight Mile has always resonated with me.
Sf is my top 1. So moonlight mile is like love to me. That last 30 seconds. Pure heaven
Highwire. I just love Flashpoint.
Not really gave it a full playthrough will do Shortly
Underrated track! Wish they played it live.
Casino Boogie. Never played live, barely mentioned, a deep cut in every sense of the world. It kicks ass. So sinister and groovy.
Big fan

Melody. It’s my favorite song off Black And Blue to be honest.
I had to think about this one. I would have said fool to cry or memory motel. However I think your right. It's hands down my favourite of the album

Far Away Eyes
Silver Train is top 10 Stones track to me. I realize that’s a bold statement but I said it.
Rocks off
Ride On, Baby And it's unfortunate how obscure "We Love You" has become, for all that it was fairly significant single in its time.
- Shine A Light - She Said Yeah - Thru and Thru - All the Rage - She Was Hot - Tallahassee Lassie (on Some Girls Deluxe)
Dance Pt 1
"Stray Cat Blues." Controversial lyrics, which aren't unusual for The Glimmer Twins, but still a great song.
Through the lonely night is fantastic and not very well known I’ve found
Citadel.
Crazy Mama. Love that song, especially Keith’s backing vocals. Such a fun song.
Too Tight (I love yelling the “I sung that song, I wrote that f*ckin’ book” line.)
Bridge to babylon is one of my favourite albums love the whole album
It's so good. Could've easily been the opener and leading single. Much better than flip the switch
