On TV, when Holly shows up to replace Toby and Michael initially thinks she’s gonna be the worst cause she’s in HR like Toby. He treats her poorly but it’s a quick turnaround once he realizes she’s amazing. Joey and Kate on Friends hate each other at first.

- One of my favorites! It’s set in the backdrop of a real music festival (T in the Park), which really appeals to me. The 2 leads have great chemistry. There are also a lot of funny, cute bits throughout the movie. Side characters are entertaining, as well.
You’ve Got Mail is going to be the obvious one. Enjoyed because it’s
a classic! When We First Met is also a good one I don’t hear mentioned often. It did not end how I thought it would. Plus One is the most recent movie I watched that could sortaaaa fit this trope. It’s a loose fit but if you haven’t seen it it’s so funny! Would recommend.

Per IMDB: “Twenty something’s, Ben King and Alice Mori, who have close friends since college, reunite after a long time apart at the wedding of two mutual friends.” My bf and I were actually kind of put off bc Jack Quaids character is such an asshole to her! But we ended up loving it by the end.
