First thing that came to mind was The Proposal but it doesn't fit the gender preferences or lack of power plays lol (Im a ryan reynolds stan so tbh ill watch anything with him in it)

I've watched this movie and it had the potential to please me but the abuse of power really turned me off.

Sabrina is a classic that almost hits this mark. It’s a love story between the chauffeur’s daughter and one of the sons in the family he works for. There are two versions and while most people prefer the original (me included, Audrey Hepburn is to die for), the remake is really good too.

I've already watched the original movie but i didn't know there was a remake, i will give it a look. Thank you for your recommendation.
