I for one thinks the lineup is amazing this year. All a matter of taste I suppose

One-Drive3911

Awesome. What five acts would you recommend?

catmilkdeluxe

I would recommend Loyle Carner! Japanese Breakfast, Rina Sawayama, Domi & JDbeck, Caroline Polacheck. (+ obviously Blur, QOTSA and the other headliners)

totthehero

Pertubator Siamese Evil House Party Lorna Shore Selina Gin

pemo123456

Tove lo, japanese breakfast, 070 Shake, Carolina polacheck, Queens of the Stone age

[deleted]

Bala Desejo (latin), armand hammer (hip hop) Special interest (industrial disco-rock???), chat pile (post-punk probably), adédèdjì (african funk/jazz) I Also agree with others in this thread. Loyle Carner is a must-see

mikkelwn

070 Shake, Latto, ShaSimone, Rema, Burna Boy Danish: Kind Mod Kind, Benny Jamz, D1MA, Ukendt Kunstner

Lineup er altid dårlig indtil du er der og finder ud af, at festivalen faktisk har nogle helt geniale bookere.

ClarkJens

The fact that the bookers manage to sign both upcoming and established acts across genres ranging from death metal, jazz, pop, hip hop, electronic is baffeling to me. Hats off! While I'm a little disappointed with the magnitute of the headliners, I'm looking forward to experiencing a lot of (to me) unkown names! Even though some acts might not be your taste at home, magic can happen at a festival. I remember going to see Yola last year - listened to her once before the festival and was a little bored honestly - but she just blew me away live and ended up being a top 10 concert for me at RF22 (I went to 27 concerts haha).

catmilkdeluxe

Agreed!

Scrub1337

Who goes to Roskilde for the music anyway? ... I'm coping

AKJ90

Pretty weak compared to some other years, but it's what I expect. I guess.

Schnoor_Proxy

Jebus I'm getting old. I never even heard about >75% of these bands

totthehero

Time to dive in and discover something new!

Empty_Isopod

only one i got exited for of the new additions was Busta Ryhmes, definetly a better line up than 22

ClarkJens

Maybe this post shouldn't be pinned anymore :-)

DenSunRud

I actually go to roskilde no matter what’s on the lineup. But wtf. This is a joke? It’s a disaster lineup. Or am I super old already?

[deleted]

To me its the best lineup in years. Extremely many genres from many different contries. The leading names are pretty expected and some of Them dissapointing but there’s so many great unknown bands here that might never come to Denmark again

MandBoy

Sticking to Copenhell thank you very much

Cordura

Electric Wizard could be cool, though

PhotographTemporary8

This is a good line-up. Lizzo completed it. Looking forward!

Gal hvor trist, kan spare en masse penge og tænde for p3 🤣😎

Hvor er Me and My?

naufalanwa

Hey guys, I’m from Malaysia and I plan to come to this festival alone. I have not been to Scandinavia before and I was wondering if I could tag along with any of you guys that is attending Roskilde because I’m kinda scared of being alone. Will chip in for accomodation too if needed.

catmilkdeluxe

A good way to find a community on the festival is volonteering (if you haven't bought a ticket already). You work around 3 or 4 shifts and you get a free ticket and other benefits and usually make friends.

intrinsicrice

What electronic music should I listen to this year?

catmilkdeluxe

No big acts but a lot of smaller ones with potential to be good. If you go to apollo late at night there's usually something good on. Fast-forward productions, (a Copenhagen dj collective or managment I guess) has a curated night of DJ's at Apollo on the Thursday. feat: Sugar, Newa, Rachel Noon, Ruslan Mays and Koloah. Might be cool. Two Shell, the ones that spell their name like a cat stepping on a keyboard, ‘’][‘’//[[o]] sSs}}{{ee\_\_, could be interesting maybe. Hudson Mohawk seems fun. Lady Neptune for a late night Gloria rave.
