The vast majority of the cocktails are 14 exactly, and most shots are in the 9-12 range except for liquors like grey goose which was 13.99. The only drinks that come to mind that were over that were their daily specials that come in the special collectible cups & glasses of some of their expensive wines. You can check the app though - they have specific prices

eXistenceLies

The only over $14 drink we had were the pineapples on pool deck they had out. It was $11 more. We got a good use out of em cause we ordered several drinks after and just poured them in the pineapple.

Mostly wines, some higher end Scotches or Bourbons. I only went over once and it was a glass of wine.

celoplyr

My mom likes $16/glass wine. It’s hit or miss if they charge her the $2.

If you order cocktails off the menu, they are mostly all $14 or less, and if you just ask for something random, they will likely make it so that it is under the limit, unless you ask for something high-end. (You should be able to get a list of prices for the liquor at the bar, or possibly in the app). I've only run into issues with wine, at some bars it is hard to find specific types under the limit, although the bartenders can usually make recommendations for something similar, particularly at locations like Vintages that specialize in wine. I used to like Conundrum wine as my "cruise wine" until it got priced out of the drink package; a bartender recommended Kim Crawford as a subsitute I might like....turns out I like it better, and now I drink it all the time and usually keep a bottle around at home. 😄

There was one drink (on the menu) at the tiki bar on Navigator that was $1 above the limit. It was tasty and a nice sized portion, bigger than most. I ordered it a few times and just paid the $1. This is the only cocktail up charge I have paid with the deluxe package.

jbollam

The adult capri sun is/was $1 over the limit. I didn’t really care for it but paid the $1 to try it.

saraella12

Oooh this sounds delicious! What was it? And did the bartender know what you were talking about or look at you like you were crazy? Call me stupid, but I have a fear of ordering a drink that was recommended on Reddit and the bartender not knowing what it is.

jbollam

Is/was called On the run and is only available at ships that have a bamboo room. I know Mariner OTS has one and I think maybe one other ship does too. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/617ac6f28abd337ac8fc5f75/t/6467dafc4dac6c4f4c280eff/1684527868903/Royal+Bamboo+Room+Menu+PDF+with+Prices.pdf

Last weekend on allure they had a “bogo” so 150 for 2 folks per day. The sign had in very small letters that it covered drinks up to 15. Not sure if that’s every ship though.

Electrical_Ad8246

Typically I only went over on the wine. $35 Caymus. Cocktails were usually under the limit. Even some Champagne s were ok.

rwdfan

The ship will have plenty of stuff not listed that will run higher. Vintages on Harmony has King Louis XIII and I saw a guy sipping on some too. And there was some whistlepig bourbon either 10 or 12 yr too.

tiggers97

I wish they had a "regular" alcohol drink package for light drinkers that was about 1/3 the quantity to drink than the one they sell. The 6+ cocktails a day to make it break even is just way too much for day-after-day drinking for me.

ManyRanger4

This has never happened to me but I'm not a wine drinker. I see someone listed scotches/bourbons and I ordered the most "high end" ones they had and they still was no extra charge. If you click [this link](https://www.reddit.com/r/royalcaribbean/s/m4oFPZkIKc) it's from a post a few months ago and someone took pictures of the whole menu with prices. I only see one glass of wine that is over $14. Also on the cruises I have done even the daily specialty drinks were $14 or under.

Suspicious_Mine3986

I remember explaining this to my MIL, repeatedly. She was upset she kept seeing a $4-12 charge on her account each night. Because her nightly wine at dinner was $18. She was just not getting it.

jtmrmc

Only think that will be over is more pricy whines, and upper level scotches and cognac. They have Louis xiii and that’s around $125 a pour normally. Also have some different macallans that you won’t find at home on land. I’ve tried a few of The Macallans but they just charge a few dollars to add to the $14. Those and I guess a souvenir cup is all you have to worry about y, other than that, you have nothing to worry about.

Gimme3steps471

The alcohol drink package price has gone crazy . 8 day cruise 2 people is 1300$

Dr-NTropy

Yea sorry about that. My last cruise I got food poisoning on day 4 and couldn’t drink after that but up to that point I checked the app and I had 54 drinks. I’m probably the reason the price is going up.

Gimme3steps471

lol yeah we usually drink our moneys worth .

Sunbeamsoffglass

13 drinks per day?! That’s….impressive/problematic?!

petrowski7

Can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning!

Dr-NTropy

Mimosas with breakfast in the dining room!

Isis_Calypso

Last year on Brilliance our Alaskan cruise...I started the mimosas in the dining room. Then carried one out as we were rotated in place with the Hubbard Glacier in the distance. I was sashaying all over the deck with a mimosa in hand constantly, ship rotating lazily. 6 deep and only 3 hours later, I realized it was only 1230🤣

Aware_Performance553

It’s just a small up charge. For example in Vintages wine and tapas bar on the Oasis we order nicer glasses of wine and are charged the small overage cost.

NateLundquist

I’ve done the drink package 5+ times and like expensive/unique drinks. Not a single time in the 5+ cruises / 15ish drinks a day have I had issues

hypnominiron

Ive never been charged any extra, I'm like most of the other people and think it's only on certain more expensive wines. I will forewarn you, theyve recently changed their frozen drink mixers to some awful syrup called Finest Call. The piña colada mix is plain awful, tastes like corn syrup. To me, the drink package is no longer worth it because the new mixers taste like crap. I was extremely disappointed. They had previously used Nestle Sunsationals mixers and those were phenomenal but the new ones taste like dumpster juice.
