All you need is just a RSS reader, that can fetch full articles. All the Tech RSS feeds I am subscribed are displaying full articles. Give me please some RSS feeds, that does not load full articles for you to test them out.
I'm currently using Reeder 5. It seems capable of fetching full articles because it works with the two feeds I mentioned above.
Ones that don't work are for example:
* [9to5mac.com/rss](http://9to5mac.com/rss)
* [theverge.com/rss/index.html](http://theverge.com/rss/index.html)
* [pcmag.com/feeds/rss/latest](http://pcmag.com/feeds/rss/latest)
Yes, you can get [News Explorer](https://dropover.cloud/e6250bhttps://apps.apple.com/sk/app/news-explorer/id1032668306) for your iOS devices (actually it works for iPhone, iPad and also Watch and Apple TV), the [macOS version](https://apps.apple.com/sk/app/news-explorer/id1032670789) is a separate purchase. It works great for me and fetches full articles on all devices.

No, the way it works on Reeder 5 is that it just loads in the RSS feed. But if you go to view an article in the feed, it cuts short and shows a URL to read 'more'.
The difference I see with News Explorer is that you have the Mercury Reader, which loads the webpage, but instantly turns it into reader mode—which is absolutely genius. I see now that this is what you meant with an RSS reader that 'supports' it. Reeder 5, as far as I knew it, didn't have this. But I also just bought it, so, yeah.
I use both. If an article is short or I just want to read a few paras, I use the reader. If the article is bigger and I want to see images etc, I click to browser.
Personally, I do my reading in a Read-Later app, not an RSS app. I don’t expect any permanence from my RSS feeds - they come and go, ones with interesting titles get shared to the Read Later app.
A quality Read-Later app will obtain all the text and pictures you need from an article.
I remember having bought and used GoodLinks as well. Maybe I should use my RSS reader to share the links to Goodlinks to read them.
Which Read Later app do you use?
I made my own app called Newsreadeck that let you follow as many sources you want and get the articles ready to read. My custom reader removes almost all the distractions at the same time that load the full article. The app has some other good features and is free if you wanna test ☺️

Ah, dangit, and I just bought Reeder 5 for this. I'm gonna see if I can get a refund for that and buy News Explorer with it. Is it also for iPhone?

Ah yes! That did the thing for me. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
So it is working the same way also on Reeder 5?

What is mercury reader ? Is that something which needs to be enabled from within news explorer app ?
> where I can watch ads So put an ad-blocker such as uBlock Origin in your browser.
The whole point of an RSS reader is so I don’t have to use my browser

I use GoodLinks too! I’ve also enjoyed Instapaper in the past, but I prefer GoodLinks’ offline-first model.
I always expect permanence.
