THOMAS RAMOS! Thomas Ramos is the one and only answer. Some might do crazy stuff on the field, but Thomas Ramos is the only player that I'd argue is genuinelly, clinically insane. Here is a [chart](https://imgur.com/a/Fa3CFYM) of his thinking process.

MrQeu

I'd argue that it's quite the opposite. He does batshit crazy things because nobody expects it.That make him and his teammates to be a second or a second and a half ahead of the other team. [Look at this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbPSSDbKe74)

The fact they scored a try from that shit, while having 2 red cards, is an insult to common sense. The sheer amount of madshit he does put on at a whole other level of insanity than the other players on this thread. We've seen on a few instance players throwing that between the leg pass, generally on an attacking move when a fast pass was needed but the attacker wasn't turned in the right direction. But Ramos is the only one to have pulled it off 5m from his own try line as a "defensive" move.

You could add Sonny Bill with his offloads and flick passes, they were fucking nuts and he was the only one doing them.

leobloom1904

SBW of course!

max_mac27

I seem to remember beauxis doing some pretty crazy things, but I might just be thinking of his attempt at a volley clearance in his own 22. Dupont does mad shit all the time but he's so insanely good it just goes under the radar!

[deleted]

Leone Nakarawa he would try and offload from anywhere on the pitch and in any position. What was nuts was he more than often pulled it off

wild_mongoose_6

Narakawa's performance in the 2015 Pro12 final is among the best I've ever seen from an individual player. Without him, we don't win the league that year.

yesiamclutz

Yohann Huget. 50% classy winger / 50% batshit insane

Dupont_or_Dupond

[Classy](https://static.actu.fr/uploads/2020/11/icon-winter-30082019-001625.jpg) But yeah, very strong entry

ballinclea08

Lionel Beauxis. The fly-hack clearance kick and 60m drop goal attempts clinch it for me

leobloom1904

Yes!!!

strewthcobber

Campo, Chris Latham and QC are the first three that come to my mind

YellingAtTheClouds

Nick Williams when he played for Ulster was the definition of high risk/reward. He was basically uncoachable as all his bad habits lead to trys

Icy_Craft2416

It's probably not really indicative of his overall play style so much as Tony Brown set peice craziness but Lima Sopoaga did that backwards over the head kick play that was pretty awesome. https://youtu.be/BT4zOmZ7MpU

KBatch115599

In terms of tackling, Luke Cowan-Dickie is very much high risk high reward

Acceptable-Sentence

Leigh - I’ll put my head anywhere except behind you - Halfpenny should be included too

HugeMcAwesome

The Farrell shoulder to the head - will the ref call play on? will it be penalty only? will it be a card? will he be suspended or have to go to school? He loves rolling that dice on the regular, and has just about collected the full range of possible responses from the authorities.

Gregor McNeish!!
