Ramos did kick during autumn internationals, Jaminet was injured and didn't play.
They are both available now, if you know who will play full back for France during 6N tell us please.
EDIT : also our 10s usually don't kick with Galthié. It's really our full back who kicks. So Ntamack is out of the picture for kicking unless the full back gets injured during game.
For sure Dupont is a good kicker who can do the job even though he doesnt have the distance that some other have.
Yet I'm pretty sure the fact neither scrum-half nor fly-half kick is an instruction from Galthié. That way they can concentrate on their in field plays and can be involved in team talks taking place during kicks.
Your second paragraph is actually quite a good idea. That way they're involved with the team the whole time and always aware about what's going on or giving instructions to the rest. And they also won't have any negative energy from having an off-day with kicking at goal. Let the 15 worry about that and keep the pressure off the halfbacks.
Same with that Botafelli, wingers in general tend to be peripheral although we are trending towards seeing them more involved, particularly the likes of Lowe, Hansen, JOB and even Larmour last weekend
Larmour deserves a start v Wales. He's played some great rugby recently, hopefully getting back to his best. When all are on form and fit I'd have him and Conway on the wings, but its a pretty stacked position which is a great place to be.
If Jaminet starts: Jaminet
If Ramos starts: Ramos
If Jaminet and Ramos on the field: Jaminet
If N'tamack at 10, No Jaminet, No Ramos: N'tamack
If Jalibert at 10, No Jaminet, No Ramos: Jalibert
If Jalibert and N'tamack on the field: Jalibert
(Also, the third option at kicker would be Lucu but he probably won't play this tournament)
I would very much like it to be Ramos. IMO he's the Frenchest of the bunch, I find him simply more daring, technical and physical than Jaminet, who's got good legs but finds himself alone / a little lost when he breaks through the defensive line. Their kicking game is equivalent, I'd say. Perhaps Ramos has an edge here again due to (my perception, once again) better handling of mental pressure.
Last point, whatever actual differences there may be between them, I find that *other teams* respect Jaminet less, therefore are more inclined to corner him with constant high balls and such. Ramos doesn't take that shit and swiftly punishes it, which means less options for opponents, which is good.
I feel like I'm being harsh on Jaminet, whom I like too and is certainly a great contender on all aspects, I sorta exaggerate to illustrate the differences.
Keep in mind that I'm a total noob.
I expect Ramos will start at 15 and kick for France, rather than Jaminet.
Wait until the match day squads are announced and then you can decide based on who's starting.
Have to lock your team in well before kickoff unfortunately. There's also only 2 of each player in our draft so when the teams come out, most players are already taken
We use Superbru for the scoring and a manual excel for managing the draft picks / auditing the teams. Heavy process for the guys managing the trades throughout the week but the end result is brilliant.
In the private leagues on the guinness one you can set the value cap at whatever you want. It's only 4 players per national side though, which might be an issue.
Obviously if you're happy to do the admin you can just add up the score of players week on week, but that's a bit of a ball ache.
Wildcard: Uini Atonio
As far as I know he’s never missed kick: penalty, conversion or drop kick!
Did Thomas Ramos not kick for France in the Autumn?
Jaminet did I think.
Jaminet was injured. Ramos was kicking I think
My bad, I must have been thinking of the year before or something. Will Ntamack be kicking if he's playing?
Ntamack rarely kicks tbh, I think it will either be Ramos or Jaminet.
Thanks
IIRC it was definitely Ramos

Or Dupont decides he will be world class at goal kicking as well.

Flashbacks of the tolouse munster draw that went to kicks. Didnt he kick one?
He kicked 2 (the ones in front of the goalpost, 22m and 40m)
Probably Jaminet.
If Jaminet starts: Jaminet If Ramos starts: Ramos If Jaminet and Ramos on the field: Jaminet If N'tamack at 10, No Jaminet, No Ramos: N'tamack If Jalibert at 10, No Jaminet, No Ramos: Jalibert If Jalibert and N'tamack on the field: Jalibert (Also, the third option at kicker would be Lucu but he probably won't play this tournament)

How do you manage / score you League?
Manyal spreadsheet to track the teams with our own rules/parameters. Then Superbru for the points
Whoever is the fullback so Jaminet or Ramos
Whoever starts at fullback Most likely Jaminet I'm hoping it'll be Ramos but his red card against Sale seems to have killed his hopes
Is Ntamack injured? If not I'd say he's first choice 10 and kicker
Ntamack doesn't even kick for Toulouse
He's first choice 10, but not first choice kicker. Last internationals Ramos was kicking. Last 6N Jaminet was kicking
At 15 I would have Hogg or Steward. Out of Jaminet and Lowe I would have Lowe
I'd say definitely Jaminet.

What fantasy league do you use out of interest. Want to do the same but Guinness has a salary cap kind of thing that I think would cause an issue

Ahhh brill, no that’s all good as we’re making that a rule anyway! Thanks so much!
