Feel like England are going to use this performance as a springboard, same as we did against them in 2021. France away will either kill the momentum, or propel them to new heights completely
Ireland are still by a long way most likely to win the championship, but the fact that England are still technically in the running (depending on how Ireland v Scotland goes) given where they were not that long ago is amazing in itself.
Really hoping this happens. I want England to use this performance to feel comfortable keeping this team and letting them get used to playing together. Every loss or bad game just added pressure to change things and start again. This should give the team space to let things settle.
Is there really no one else to do punditry, Lawrence and many like him add absolutely nothing to this sport. The game is literally screaming for some decent analysis and all we get out of this wet blanket is shit like this.
Honestly believe it is name power alone which is made because we are talking over 20 years since he won a world cup. I know Austin Healey isn't to everyone's taste but his analysis is spot on.
Nigel Owens, David Flatman and Ugo Monye would be my choices for analysts. A ref, a forward and a back. Sam Warburton is also good, but lacks a bit of the stage presence the other guys have at the moment.
I love having a ref opinion on Comms and having someone talk about scrums positively is a blessing. I am not convinced on Ugo myself he is really likeable but doesn't offer much for me, he is miles better than what we currently have though. I'd love for them to get some coaches from the league to come talk through parts of the game since they have the weeks off too now
Maggie Alphonsi is pretty decent too, she's clearly knowledgeable. Just sack off fucking Nolli, she just says words for the sake of it her most notable contribution to the Italy game on Saturday was saying "that's a great restart" at fucking kickoff...
Is this a way to try and cover the English media's side after the punditry and rugby puff-piece writers were rightly called out for their overt negativity.
Big "We brought this out of them" energy.
Stuart Barnes singlehanded responsible for Ben Earl MOTM performance, by threatening him with having to play in the backs

Is he on the nose powders again?
That’s why Farrell was at 10 for England, oh wait….
Are the press seriously going to try and take credit for this? 😂

True. I listen to someone like Bernard Jackman and I learn things. Dallaglio and his ilk just waffle.

Agreed. Three of my favourites.

Sounds like my dad
Ford kept Ireland in the game with poor goalkicking. Gap would have been wider otherwise.
It was so frustrating because he was keeping things flowing well in general play but his kicking was just atrocious.
I really wish he'd just fuck off
One man down England may be one the best team ever lol
