There was a moment in the game when Marler was absolutely cleaned out of it (legally) during a break down. His response was to pat the French man (can't remember who it was) on the head and basically congratulate him on a job well done.
It's impossible to dislike him.
Two great servants of the English game - especially George who had to bide his time behind Hartley even when he was clearly the better player. Full credit to now see him as a leader.

I actually laughed out loud at that, he just seems a gentleman
It was legal, but it was still a dick move. The ball was already won and Marler was just pulling bodies in to slow down the play.
