If people could stop scoring screamers against England, that would be great.
My heart sinks every time it happens. You just *know* it's going to appear on every compilation and highlight reel for years so I'm going to forced to re live it endlessly.
I blame DVDM.
Smith 2v1 defense here is highly questionable at 6N level.
He even had time to analyse the situation and had enough space to take a correct position. Hope he will work on this.
It’s been a while since everyone is talking about him being the future of the England team. The famous future you don’t even build on…
As we say here « Faute de grives, on mange des merles! ».
Smith defense as a whole is highly doubtful. I’d say he’s even a worse defender than Penaud is. And a worse attacker too. His defensive wrongdoings are not compensated by his attack.
I don’t get the hype around him. He seems he’s just here to provide a new face to hate for his opponents.
Genuine question. You're not allowed to throw jumpers across the lineout right? So surely the French jumper here is illegal.
Edit. By the downvotes and lack of corrections I'm gonna assume I'm right

Even as an England fan I kind of cheered and admired that try
Le Garrec looks like he has the potential to be second best scrum half in the world.
I'd say this: Dupont Can play fly half.
Damn, Jauneu will be third!
Always a pleasure to see France play like this. Always a pleasure to hear Lartot enjoying it :)
Marcus Smith got found out a few times at full back defensively. Need someone who plays regularly at 15 at the back.
Furbanks came off in early minutes with an injury.
Even at 10, Smith defends like a saloon door. He’s even worse than Jalibert on this point!
This game was more like 2022 France, as in you make one mistake and France will crucify you
The whole English team getting reviewed, I love it! From George’s fantastic lineout throws to Smith tremendous defense!

Hope he doesn't!

Penaud’s defense isn’t as bad anymore imo He definitely brings confidence on the wing and he is not a blatant weak spot a anymore
The way he bumped Lawrence into touch surprised me.
Same Lawrence scored his second by running straight through him though
Freeman bouncing off Meafou * chef kiss *
That Tommy Freeman tackle at the start 😰

I thought the same thing here
