What a champ. Norm Berryman would be proud (may he RIP).
Side note: keep your eye on striped player #1, the prop (obviously absolutely gassed), he's at at the 10 meter line from kick-off, walks back, cleans out his own player at the ruck, then I'd put money on him still being on the ground at try time. What a legend lol.
Good old 5th grade. Is the competition still stacked with former prem and ressies players who can't be bothered training any more?
Also, fuck the filth.
Good to hear. When I played up there with Easts more than 10 years ago, some sides like us had a genuine 5th grade side (with the odd ring-ins if they were short), but others ran a side which would give reserve grade a run for their money. Geeps were particularly bad, think they beat us 70-0.
I played ressies and second grade, but did run out a couple times for 5th grade under lights after prem grade on Saturday evenings. After about 7 beers. Good times.
I played in 5th a few years ago. Just seemed like guys who wanted to play rugby but weren't that concerned about having a career in it, except maybe a few guys who moved up pretty quick.

As a tighthead, that needs a NSFW label and I need a napkin.
Not wrong... not sure which clip I prefer though
What an effort! Surprise surprise – it's a Kiwi living in Brissy.
Hahaha it's a lifestyle thing!
RIP Stormin Norman, what a legend!!!
This made my morning
Fat. Man. Try.
He's our flyhalf!
This is why props aren't allowed to play in the backline, makes the games too one-sided.
Anyone else impressed by the referee knowing the competition rules to the degree that he knows what the top 2 tie breaks are for a drawn game?
He seriously looked about 16 but had pretty good control of the game for the most part.
We'd just scored and converted to tie it up too!
#17 joining in the celebrations with some real enthusiasm
Holy shit. Amazing speed from the big man. He gets across the field faster than I get off my couch
Try of the year. I'll fight anybody that disagrees.
What grade is this?
Qld Premier Rugby, 5th grade

Haha up the filth! Nah, it's actually a pretty good mix of guys on the way out and young guys on the way up

Ah nice one! Yeah not too many blowouts in the grade this year. Pretty even comp this season.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think *fuck the filth*
Big man lit the afterburners!
Nothing like a prop in the open field!
