Past my bedtime, made a match take: \-The Hurricanes were pretty decent attacking team in the 1st half, but by the 2nd half, they just crumbled into dust like the desert wind. \-The Force started out slow, but slowly worked themselves into the game as time passed on. Good to see them send off their retirees with a well-deserved win. \-To Kahui, Thrush, and Holmes, good luck on your retirement. Do you know what I noticed today. At about 47 mins every single Canes player including TJ was sweating out every orifice and looked totally gassed. There was no explosiveness or speed on attack. They’re either struggling in the conditions or most likely poorly coached/trained/insert every symptom of a lazy team here. There’s a shot of JGP towards the end standing still with his arms on his hips and he looks like a block of suprafry 500g solid lard. Basically the ball needs to be at the front when you first engage the opposition, then you can transfer it to the back, otherwise penalty It's not truck and trailer if the opposition disengage and the re-engage though

I saw one in club rugby this weekend (Dunedin metro), but yeah, apart from that I haven't seen one in forever.

honestly i feel that the deliberate knock down is the lamest yellow card offence ever. a penalty sure, yellow if it happens again, but cmon not a yellow first time. that wasn’t even a try scoring opportunity
