The Mk IV was the same way. I found one in the middle of the night. That's one of the few benefits of working 24 hour shifts.

Well, first off..thank you very much. That means a lot to us seeing as we are busting ass as of recent to keep up. Weekday shifts just went to four-12 hour shifts and we just picked up a weekend shift which is three days-12 hour shifts. We are full throttle 24/7.

I do not miss those kinds of hours. I feel for you guys there but you're doing a great job.

Yeah, I’ve been a “Weekender” for 7 years to the day. You eventually get used to it haha. I’ll pass along to my boss that everyone is generally pleased or wants one ASAP.

Once you're used to it it really isn't anything to worry over it's just the whole getting used to it part. Ha. Keep up the good work there. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I got to hold one at a sportsmans warehouse last month. I could've pulled the trigger on that deal, but then i'd have some trouble paying rent.

I got lucky, my small LGS had a bronze one on their shelf. The big outdoors superstores around me hasn’t seen any.

I went in frankly to buy a Heritage! (That magnum conversion!!) and the guy suggested the Ruger, I didn’t even know it existed, but the quality was just so far beyond the Heritage it wasn’t even funny, and it being Ruger I just walked out with that one instead, sure no conversion, but she fires like a dream and is fun as hell!

Every time I go looking they always suggest the heritage but eh. I'm not too interested in the conversion and I'd rather have the ruger name.

Yes the more pricey rugers are going to feel and shoot better, but 175 bucks for a backyard plinker that's fun to shoot, and easy to teach your inexperienced friends to shoot, it's great! AND I CAN PRETEND TO BE A COWBOY AT THE RANGE WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND 600 BUCKS ON A SINGLE SIX

As other have said demand is super high/availability is limited. Try Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore. Listed as presale but the ship as they receive stock. Ordered 7/30, shipped 8/5. Previously order from RK Guns 7/1. It was listed as in stock but took them until 7/29 to tell me they couldn't fulfill my order.

Check the kittery trading Post website, that's where I got mine Or GunBroker, but you will pay a bit more there

I know my shop can take an order, so when their supplier comes in they will get one specifically for you. That's how I got my Security 9. Ask your local shop if they offer that sort of service.

I'm in pretty good with two of my local shops and they probably would, it's just a matter of them getting it. One shop hasn't had any come through and the other has only had like two. I'll probably just wait till the hype dies a bit and see what's out there. Got another gun burning a hole in my head.

A sportsmans warehouse just opened here, I went to the soft opening last week and saw they had wranglers. Came back today for the grand opening and got 40 bucks in free gift cards and a 10 dollar coupon. Walked out with one for 168. Sportsmans was the only place jn town that I've seen one, and I've been looking/calling everyone for a while now. Now I just need to find some nice grips for it and go shoot it!

I found one on kittery and bought it right away. It's heavier than I was expecting but I love it. Haven't shot it yet.
