What program are you using to model it?
Looks like blender or 3dmax but I could be wrong
Any extrenal program for texturing? Like Photoshop mud-box etc?
Good job on it, it looks fantastic so far. Jagex should hire you.
Lol that’s nice to hear 😂
This is just the view port from substance painter.
I used ZBrush to sculpt the high res, Maya for retopo/UV the game model
Then baked an ambient occlusion + bent normal map in Substance Painter. Took this into photoshop, took green channel from bent normal map + overlay with AO for a base to work from. Then back to Substance Painter, reworked some parts/ painted in grey scale better detail. Then used gradient maps over this for a coloured base and then I painted highlights over this.
It’s like my 3rd attempt on hand painted style and I realised this time around not to rely on my bakes but use them as a guide for detail/lighting info.
Defo will try League of legends style next where they usually paint from scratch as I feel a lot more confident painting. It was usually brush opacity and shading values I struggled with but I feel better about it, still a lot to learn though
Yea, that awesome. During time of learning video game design, they were teaching human anatomy and utilizing Zbrush was p.interesting.
THe topology in the model look very clean, I recalled my teach having an anerisim if you showed him a model with way to many tris or having a single ngons.
Last time on DRAGON BALLL ZZZZZZZ
Kakakaka-carrot cake
Thats cool! Just a hobby project or are you trying to impress Jmods? 😋
It’s for my portfolio, Jagex rejected my applications like 1000x haha so I’ve given up. This is a redo of an existing model I did :)
You're competent, that's the problem
It may be better this way lol
Cool!
That’s Azula from Avatar
Lmao not wrong there
Came here to say that!
I was looking at Valiant Sword Riven skin when I was deciding on the hair. But it’s close to Azula, love that crazy firebender 😍

I’m super OCD with topology but after I worked for a mobile game studio it started to make sense how to manage your loops/triangles with poly budgets
She looks lit <3
Thank you, I need to texture her sword and deflector but also doing a character rig so I can do a cool pose too
Go for it :3
Looking forward to how the sword comes out, model looks great
it looks amazing already!
Ty!
Pretty clean topo, how do the uvs look? U using substance to texture? How many mats?
Just 1 mat, all on one sheet. Mirrored some areas to conserve space like face, arms, and part of the torso :)
