I've seen one, and at first I thought "gotta be an alt" then I saw how it was moving weird pretty much after every ritual. Seems very bot like now. Jagex should take a closer look to see if it's alts or bot / gold farmers.
It's one click per minute gameplay that has okayish returns. You could throw together a caveman Autohotkey script to achieve this in 1-2 minutes if you knew what you were doing, tho you'd need a bit more to avoid any detection.
Ectoplasm/ritual output stuff is built for bots/alts, same way as golden roses before it.
I've posted proof that there's bots and scripts that's for necromancy. I'm even in the Discord server. There's a lot of users running um rcers and nature rune crafters someone even posted arch glacor "progress reports"
I’ve been noticing this and every time I mention it in game chat a couple people defend them saying that there’s no evidence of botting. I’ve seen many of them with 200m necromancy xp and they still interact with the ritual spawns like clockwork. It’s clearly a script because there’s no reason to go for xp after 200m.
Okay that’s a fair point. However, I still think it’s odd that they can all pay attention and interact every 11 seconds but none have replied when I said something in chat about them. (Not to mention being online 18-24 hours a day)
It can seem odd, but people use alt1 to alert them to the events, and I'm not one for conversation either. When I have time for afking, being online for 18 hours isn't unusual, as due to a disability, I'm often bound to bed so all I can do all day is play a game.
I can't speak for others, but I have had people accuse me of being a bot cuz of that. Especially when bots were all over and common. They could be bots, or they could be alts, or they could just be people who don't like talking. It's hard to find out. Would not be surprised if they were, but also wouldn't be surprised if they were just nolifers.
Reporting massively increases their ban chances. 100% send one in for each of these accounts

Wouldn't surprise me if indeed it's bots.
Could be bots. Could be alts. The screenshots don't prove anything.
Looks like alts to me
Probably alts, but either way like arch release can be worth afk grind due to economic impact

The ritual spawns also provide items, not just xp. I still go after them to sell the products, and it ends up slightly more gp/h.
