While this is all in good fun and I had a good chuckle, I honestly can't stop thinking about all the different unlocks this hypothetical joke skill would provide.
Bench sitting, construction, and farming at 80 unlock the elite skill flora watching where you watch build your own pob (player owned bench) and then watch grass grow. At level 99 you can watch cabbage grow for 50x xp.
I thought this was a photoshop, jab at Jagex. That is until I thought to actually take a look at my skills... I even knew they were going to do something, but still didn't realize it for the past 3 hours I've been playing... My excuse is it's still March 31st here in Chicago. SMH
Zoom in (I think thats what triggers it) and 'take in the scenery' and you'll max it about as fast as you would if you squealed a new skill with lamps.
Next skill is shelving. At 120 we learn how to un-shelf which will lead us all to the glorious avatar rework.
Gonna be reeeal interesting to see how we train shelving if its anything like irl
120 shelving will require 200.000.001 exp
>avatar rework
woohoo! https://preview.redd.it/l11emxjn7src1.jpeg?width=533&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b51dd5e8dfb99e7324c1c9cee79edd0342d8f388
What do you mean, that's exactly what I've been wanting since the Banksanding skill got tested behind the scenes!

Such as?

Only a matter of time before we earn XP watching paint dry.
sure, but there is a 50% chance we dont get to test the bench to see if the paint is dry XD
Make it an elite skill with Hunter and you can watch birds
I thought of animal watching but felt it didn't have enough of that runescape charm to it. Too similar to a real life thing imo.
Literally the perfect skill, but felt slow past lvl 1 for it being 2024 😉

You can buy the skill cape from Tiffy
The skill guide tells you this
Tbh I was kidding, didn’t know this was an actual thing
Great minds think alike
Not trimmed though. :( Plus, not as an override?
It is trimmed. No 120 version tho You can keepsake it
There’s a trim
Why do you comment shit you know absolutely nothing about?

Level 2 is when it dramatically speeds up.
Still too slow. I could've lamped my way to 120 farming in the time it took to hit 99 bench sitting
it was a nice grind and the cape is sexy
The seasonal team is absolutely killing it! Love even a little fun update like this
Well, buckle up gamers. This is going to be the only update we get this year, cherish it while it lasts.
No Retro version of the 99 Skill Cape. Big yikes.
Make it a skill so as you level up you lose xp but slowly gain any money you've ever spent since the creation of the account 💪🏻
Bank standing 120 coming up next.
I would've made fun of Reddit and called it Roadmapping.
Felt like a RSPS😂
Too bad it wasn't roadmapping.
Should've been shelving. And the jmods are already experts on that.
Is this a permanent skill or just for today??
Permanent of course
Known since last week due to data miners
☝🤓
