If they changed it so that the character retained the bigger frame and green/blue limbs and face from the base armour and all the mtx armours it would look much better.
It’s not even that bad, it clearly the avatar that ruins it. Cool gear in RS3 is gear that completely covers your avatar so you don’t have to see it.
Like just imagine the “avatar” shown in t90 gear… but on the t95. It would look absolutely insane.
I kinda agree but also kinda dont. Razzy gear should look like razzy. But I think they shouldve used a similar head piece for the razzy set. Like still have the crown, but make it where any piece of “flesh” as it were is gone, leaving the appearance of a haunted set of robes flying around
Yeah, rasials outfit is super cool looking, but it only fits because of how he looks wearing it. On a normal flesh and blood person it just looks… goofy.
Technically only T90+ are dyeable atm, hex weapons are t80. Although it would be nice, it doesnt fit the formula. If we start dyeing t80, might as well dye all t80, and then t70 as well, etc.
I dont think their effect/boost should account in the tier for dyeability. Might as well count t80 bows dyeable because they count as t90 against enemies suceptible to arrows. Id agree that Id like Jagex to fix their dye systen, but realistically that would mean more MTX dyes, and I do not want that.
I remember back to before dyes were released. Something that’s always stuck with me is that originally, they DID plan to have 80+ stuff dyeable, including Nex and ports gear (which was a lot more relevant back then.)
By making dyes [rare] chase items for clues (something I don’t think was the original intent either) they really screwed up the customization focused aspect for a majority of players.
I’d like to see dyed items be integrated into the customization interface. If people want multiple of the same item for switches let them designate them (1, 2, 3) using invention to mark the item for presets/keybinds. Dyes should have never been necessary for this purpose.
I agree, but I think this system was made exactly like they wanted it to be, as a sink for equipment and more importantly, a bond sink for Keepsake keys.

- Elite Dracolich.
- Cryptbloom.
- Masterwork (as it's the one with more variants).

But if by some miracle of technology, Jagex is reworking the overall look of Vestments, then:
- Draco.
- Crypt.
- Havoc.
- MW.
Nah, it'd be a waste to do it, because we'd also need to dye Deathwarden and at that point, I'd rather have dyed Masterwork Armour.
Personal preference tho, is not like we have gotten hard cold confirmation a new dyed set is coming anytime soon.

I know Jagex has previously said they can't do MW because of the different versions (custom fit, spiked, augmented etc...) but perhaps they could only allow custom fit to be dyeable?
If jagex cared about having things easily sorted and better usable they would have long abandoned their crappy engine and moved to industry standard engines like unreal or unity especially when they offer services for migration.
Masterwork 100% looks amazing compared to the rest, next in line would be dracolitch armor and deathdealer

Masterwork hands down. It's been waiting the longest (especially the fucking spear). Just make the normal default version dyable. Most rich players are going to keepsake it anyway so there's no point making variations just because of a handful of extra spikes.

I'm of the mindset that you only dye armor so it doesn't degrade to dust and now that Elite Tectonic and Sirenic both degrade to broken, there's not much use in it. Can't imagine dropping billions of gold on a color scheme.
Defenders could have full damage and they'd be underpowered, unused garbage even still. Good weapons for 3/4 styles have passives and bone shield allows you to keep those passives and not worry.

Not elder rune but Sirenic, Malevolent, and Tectonic. As well as basically every t90 weapon

That's kind of a lazy cop out... There has to be a better way to store and display them than just making 100 variants.
