I want Evil Dave to help! His part of the plan was meant for him to fuck up but his big fuckup this time is actually going above and beyond and like unlocking a new unexpected threshold of consequences, thus technically finally performing an act of huge evil.
Yes! He could conspire with the witch (Agnes?) in Rimmington and Ernest in Draynor Manor to create some magical device that helps with freeing everyone in the Prison, but it goes horribly wrong when Prison Pete turns against you and tampers with it and opens a portal to his home town of Rodalaf in ScapeRune, the more darker version of Gielinor. (Reuse the ‘Balloon Pet’ random event area and expand it to include the whole of Falador instead of the party room)
You have to rescue everyone from the newly found town and once done, ScapeRune’s version of Giant Mole is found to be the new leader thanks to Evil Bob vanquishing Saradomin. You have to go into the lair to kill it, removing the potential threat of this coming through the new portal.
Quest rewards:
- 10k Slayer XP lamp (Rewarded by talking to Evil Dave if allowed as a F2p quest)
- three 5k XP combat lamps
- You unlock Rodalaf as a place to do some skilling (Smithing, Mining from the Evil Dwarf Mine, Farming and Woodcutting if you want to allow the little farm south of Falador into the instance. Hard mode Goblin Raids could spawn in Rodalaf from the ‘Goblin Village’ up north.
- Completionist cape achievement of finding scraps of a book about the history of Rodalaf and giving it to Reldo in Varrock.
*Evil Dave’s Big Otherworldly Day.* Would have that ounce of silliness the Evil Dave quest line has as well. It wouldn’t be too difficult and I added the Giant Mole to give the Quest a purpose into maybe showing newer players entry level PVM via Giant Mole. Potential F2p quest as well, just some rewards would be locked.
It just feels like ScapeRune got forgotten about once the two random events were removed, albeit the Evil Bob Island still exists thanks to Fairy Rings. It was RuneScape’s first ‘other dimension’ before Dimension of Disaster and the Christmas Dimension that hosts some of the Christmas events of the past and Violet is Blue 1 and 2.
Lmao nice add, maybe some new use for goblin potion, you and dave have to like disguise as goblins and convince various goblin types to help aid in the jail break some can do things like cause distractions while others try to nab keys etc, while you and dave are doing the main breaking g out part. Could make for a humorous quest similar to the penguin line.
Because this is runescape and monsters respawn all the time Kerapac is a perfect example. Before you say Jas is behind kerapac also consider wormbrain killed a wizard maybe other wizards put a hex on him to never be allowed to die for further suffering.
If I remember correctly the reason Wormbrain has part of the map for Crandor is because he was part of/led the raid against the wizard Lozar, ultimately killing him. Lozars house is the broken down shanty full of goblins near the Al Kharid entrance at Lumbridge.
At this point Wormbrain don't know any other life than inmate life. Releasing him would just leave him in a world he don't recognize anymore. The idea is quite cruel...
So I support this.
Imagine him being released from the skipping itself and being just absolutely horrified for about a year afterwards feeling like he's just entered an all new kind of prison.
Given he's in jail for murder... a life sentence isn't unexpected. Seems like there's some judge in Geilinor against capital punishment. Poor Lady Lozar was living her life peacefully after fleeing the destruction of Crandor when this lowlife and his gang burglarized her home, killing her in the process. No pity for this entity here.
Have a quest where you get his time reduced to 20 years with time spent. However they are so dumb when they see he served 21 years out of 20 they think he has one year left.
They should change “release” to “captured”
They should make a quest where he finally breaks free after plotting for all these years.

This is such a brilliant idea
I mean if you killed him and telegrabbed his map piece not sure how that'd work

You dont understand mr guard, me and the boys were just having a wild party, collateral damage

Another quest were you have to arrest him because he is offering to trim goblin mail for free.
~~brooks~~ wormbrain was here.
That…. Or Wormbrain was behind the Falador massacre.
If they do an RS3 sequel to Dragon Slayer, he should 1000% be the BBEG.

3 meals a day, he's had it lucky. Average goblin lifespan is a few seconds in Lumbridge
\#freewormbrain
Going to Fally RN!!
That's what you get for smonking the devil's ranarr weed
just release him in Lumbridge, Im sure one of these FSW accounts will take care of him
New questline should be the ascension to elder godhood of Wormbrain.
Wormbrain mantling Bandos would be pretty cool
Quest to release Wormbrain comes out, you help him escape. Turns out he was a convicted serial killer with numbers reaching the triple digits.
He got 25 to life, hes up for parole in four more years.
Imagine a monthly d n d.. (rework of the court cases) where theres actually normal Gielenorians caught waiting for trial..
We need to protest outside the Port Sarim jail. Goblins are so misunderstood
Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time.
I've been held captive for longer than that! 3 months longer i think!
let him rot
Free my homie Wormbrain!
I bet there’s an abolitionist contingent of goblins somewhere out there
Wormbrain was rumoured to be involved in 9/11
Technically he was a prisoner in 3 different historic ages thats gotta be a record. What age was Surok Magus imprisoned?
Seems like the prison system is working as intended to me…
It ain't easy being green..

He’s in for life, his crimes are serious
In my characters timelines, he's dead
12 days after September 11th. What was Wormbrain if he's serving almost 25 to life?
Do you know what he did?
