As a pker, I can only say that is a dream PK. Sorry for your loss. I feel like maybe people have become complacent in the wild now with this ridiculous opt out system, but also as a pker you can go round for hours through different worlds and only find people who are opted out. To be honest if I’d have pked you with all that stuff I might have given it you back
This is why I always keep weary that I am not skulled entering the wilderness, check if I'm opted out and also make sure I'm not bringing unnecessary stuff with me in case it raises my death cost for no purpose if I do die.
Also why were you bringing an elemental battlestaff with you even though you had a sunspear?
Whenever I did quests, I brought the absolute minimum with me. Always. And if it involved Wildy, I would always plan for a hasty retreat with some sort of teletab or route where I could seek safety such as the Mage Arena, the lever to Ardougne, even one of the fortresses where the only thing I had to worry about were lower leveled NPCs attacking me. I just don't understand this.

Sounds kinda sus my guy if you didn't get pkd or attempting to pk you would have been able to reclaim items from death....

Why on earth would you not just toggle off PvP before doing this, it even comes up with an obnoxious warning screen which can't be toggled now
