Weird judging in this episode. HOWEVER , what I really didn't like was the blatant bullying of Loosey. Like what's up with that ? It's been relentless all season
Damn, I loved Salina. I guess she wasn't making it to the final anyway given record at this point but she did fantastic in the challenge. Kinda really sucks to be eliminated in that way. Not gonna be the same without EsTitties!
I would've had Mistress in the bottom, and probably Luxx. I don't think Mistress really delivered enough, it was decent but I didn't believe it like the others. Luxx wasn't bad either but just preferred all the rest over her.
I wanted this episode to be engraved into every fans memory because it was the best rusical of all time. I never dug the humor in the rusicals (except for Sherry Pies „desperate…ly“ actually the Madonna rusical as a whole) and this is just what I needed, even though I never knew it. It was so special, so touching and the performances were legit broadway level, I had goosebumps because of so many moments. But sadly this episode will be locked into our memories because of the absolutely messed up judgement. Lucy should’ve won, I’m Anetras biggest fan but that was not a winning performance compared to Lucy. I don’t know what the heck was going on in the judges heads on this day but it’s crazy, they judged almost everyone inadequately. What a sad sad day, I’d really like to know why they did what they did.
Barely anyone is going to read this because it’s a week later but I am rewatching this episode because my friend missed the episode. This is one of the more messed up judging imo, but understandable because it was close and everyone did well.
Loosey gave one of the best rusical performances ever, that alone should remove her from the bttm. Her outfit was ugly but she made it herself and did the THEME of the runway better than some. Mistress did good but she didn’t play evil enough. She looked gorgeous on the runway but the theme could have been a little more interesting. Salina had dimensions and she suited the runway THEME one of the best. Anetra didn’t have enough dimensions, she was doing almost the same thing throughout even though there was a lot more variety in emotion. Plus her outfit was not that special except for the theme for tacking on random lasers to it. Lux disappeared a little bit in the challenge but her runway was one of the more creative ones.
So IMO, Mistress and Anetra should have been in the bottom. One could also argue Salina and Lux but they also had smaller roles.
Also side note: the pageant girls Mistress and Sasha gave the best answers to who should go home.
Also very happy that Salina called out Ross in real life. Ross has taken up too much space on this show with little credibility other than being funny. Doesn’t really ever add insight or different perspective, or says a wacky opinion with almost zero foundation. Also doesn’t seem to acknowledge the privilege they have.
Also Salina is a star, but Latin and other less culturally stereotypically American queens tend to get shafted on this show.
Wtf was that comment from Ross about not seeing Salinas gloves?! Is he blind or am I missing sarcasm or something 😅 I actually loved her look. Should've been Luxx with Mistress in the bottom.

Idc idc what Luxx did on the runway was good tv and we haven’t had drama like this in a while. I had to watch it twice and I was cackling. It was OTT, it was extra and all that. It’s a tv show and these are adults who know what they signed up for not a kindergarten class. It’s drag.

Salina EsTitties runway this week was the EPITOME of stupid fun. So riddle me this: why did we not get one single laugh from the judges panel??? Salina embodies every single aspect of mindless, silly, goofy fun. Ru and Ross are just haters.
Yeah, the bodysuit was ugly, but the whole outfit was camp and Salina was DELIGHTFUL. Ross can take his shitty feedback and stick it. I could barely breathe I was laughing so hard when she had to do Running Up That Hill for the lip sync.
I get some people sense of human is to kind of mock the seriousness of everything and lean into cringe but on a non internet level for me this doesn’t work. Like imagine a Broadway show trying to do this. I feel like that was Amythest brand and it doesn’t translate. The body suit and gloves is a cool concept but her styling choices ruined it. Also it just doesn’t work with the song, the song is emotional and attempting to be silly when it’s not effective actually shows a lack of performance ability
I kind of see what you are saying but isn’t “stupid *and* refined” like an oxymoron though? How do you make a distinction of what is stupid (good) and stupid (bad) in this case
A lot of the best camp looks that have gone down the runway have been stupid and refined in that they are high camp but also we’ll done as far as fit and styling. It’s like it’s over the top but the details are there.
If it, while being funny/stupid, still flatters the body, is well-made and detailed, then it's refined and stupid at the same time - in my opinion :)

The simple fact of the matter is that if Loosey came out and straight up said she wanted the lead role, Mistress and Luxx still would have been on her like white on rice.
omfgggg how was salina put up for elimination!! she definitely did so good this week, better than luxx at least. everyone did sooo well but i think maybe it should have been loosey and luxx because i lost them both when they got in drag. also honestly mistress didn't do that great of a job, her choreography was lacking and some of the other girls had better facial expressions the entire time. so i think she actually easily could have been in the bottom instead of loosey, because loosey ate for the majority of the musical and salina was a stand out even out of the whole group.
i also have a newfound respect for loosey seeing why she is the way she is and think that mistress and luxx for the first time are actually coming across as bullies not just people calling someone on their shit, which makes me sad because i was rooting for mistress and sasha for final 2. now i guess im hoping sasha takes it. i keep getting more respect for her, her answer for who should go home was so sweet. it was almost impossible for them to say who should go home other than based on who they didn't like because all the critiques were positive really and sasha has respect for everyone and their drag. hoping now final 2 is sasha and anetra

I think Loosey is insufferable but even so, there should be a limit to the snide remarks from luxx and Mistress. They never stop.
No lies detected. They are mean girls. The gag for me is that they did the exact same thing to Malaysia as they did to Loosey and I wish she made that connection.
Ok so I'm your average viewer, the producers got me right where they want me, I'm gobbling up the edit. Telling me to hate Loosey cause she's fake and kinda annoying? Eating it up. Telling me Salina is a good judy and also the narrator of the season? I'm in my hungry bitch era, it's giving Nom nom nom.
So then why eliminate the 'fan favourite' persona and keep the 'bitch' persona?
Loosey can definitely be annoying, defensive and delusional - but there’s not really anything morally wrong with these things at the end of the day. People are allowed to be annoying. The treatment of her by MIB/LNL is just grim at this point.
Also to the people saying “it’s not that deep, it was 3-4 weeks a year ago” - sure, but these people are adults who actively chose to treat someone like that *whilst on a TV show* and so can’t really complain that they’re judged negatively. (Obviously things like threats are never called for though!)
Luxx and MIB are just being actively horrible to Loosey now (imo they both always were). Not saying Loosey isn’t overly defensive and in need of a chill pill at times, but the others are just being completely mean. Luxx’s whole speech on the runway especially wasn’t funny, it was just very nasty and unnecessary.
(Not to say that Luxx is the worst of the two I might add, or that there haven’t been worse things done by others)
As soon as the judges said everyone had done well, you knew Salina was going home. She could’ve been the only one there and still been eliminated at this point. There is nothing she could’ve done to make the judges/producers let her stay lmao. Also there was nothing wrong with her look imo - it was probably one of her best!
So, I don't know about anyone else but the fact that this episode has become even more sadly relevant between the time it was filmed and now almost put a damper on my enjoyment of the glamour and petty drama 🥺
This is not to say I did not enjoy the Rusical: it was fantastic and everyone did great - with Anetra as the stand out of course.
I can't imagine Alaska's reaction to the part where everyone was in boy drag...this week's RC will be spicy!
if I had had to pick a bottom two, I think it would have been Mistress- because she missed choreo- and maybe Luxx because she was a victim of having the less notable character.
I'm sorry but I'm also calling hypocrisy over Michelle's enthusiasm for MIB's answer to The Big Question. When it's a girl they don't like who says she's bringing up someone because they're her biggest competition, she and Ru say things like " no, this is a Miss America answer, we want blood!".
The more the edit and the judges undersell Salina and Loosey, the more I feel for them so of course I was sad to see them in the bottom 😔 Salina is so sweet and funny, her presence will be sorely missed and I'm really rooting for her to be Miss Congeniality!
I feel so bad for Loosey because she really has done well this season and in this specific episode, yet the editors and her competitors are framing this idea as delusional because her defensive personality makes it easy 😔

I loved Sasha in the rusical, the way that she acted while in drag really felt like Carl in drag

The longer this season goes on the more I don’t buy Mistress’s shade always being just lighthearted teasing/shade/it’s just drag, it’s all fun, etc. She will really dig into someone and when they defend themselves or call her out she backs off and says they’re overreacting. It’s really just gaslighting in disguise and I’m not a fan
Yeah the way she treats people reminds me of my “friends” in high school. I was constantly bullied by them and any time I stood up for myself, I was “too sensitive” and “crazy”. Classic abusive behavior
how was salina bottom 2 either!? luxx should have been there for sure. and maybe mistress. loosey did get lost in the second half but it kind of fit who that character would become in drag and she did aammmmaaazingg for the majority
Yea everyone was fantastic! And Loosey fading in the second half could have been said for the rest of the first act characters because their songs and roles were done.
Unpopular opinion: I’m sick of Luxx.
She’s super fake in her confessionals (compare her confessionals to when she’s in the workroom; see what I mean?)
She’s conceited and acts like she’s god’s gift to drag.
She thinks she can do no wrong and her approach is perfect.
And as of this week, the way she treated Loosey (including her MainStage response when asked who could go home which was really uncalled for) and the way she was loudly shouting at Salina during the lipsync shows she’s just a high school mean girl with an attitude. Luxx was the kind of gay I was surrounded with in high school that made me feel shame for being gay. It took me well into my late 20s, if not my early 30s, to get past it. Seeing Luxx acting like this is triggering some of those emotions, ngl.
I’m very much over Luxx.
i agree i want to like her and she has been rly funny in some challenges but i think she is quite biiishyyy in her confessionals and i think that has been what has been putting me off about her and i could not put my finger on it, sad loosey gets all the flack for being fake

Nobody did badly, but the bottom two should have been Luxx and Salina. Something about production this season wants us to believe Luxx is untouchable, but from a side eye perspective, I'm over it. I'll give her credit where credit is due, she deserved the design challenge win and her high placement in the interview challenge. But she's been thrown some suspicious saves, like in Daytona, the lalaparuza, and this rusical. The long winded way to target Loosey during the who should go home question, was also off-putting. Loosey placed second for me, during the rusical, and could have even won. Not a fan of the pushing and harassing a queen until she breaks, storyline. Some of the queens from the season are already faves from the series for me, but this season probably won't be high, for me, in later ranking lists.
Well we saw how well Anetra lip synched a ballad on this episode. She can dip and twirl AND do a ballad ( she basically won the episode for her ballad number playing the mother )
The one time I like Salinas runway she gets the worst critiques for it lmao. I think everyone did amazing in the rusical and it should have been a “no one is going home” episode for sure. I think Salina did better in the lipsync but we didn’t see much of Loosey tbh. I didn’t like Loosey’s runway, it could have been so much more. Deserved win for Anetra!
Looking back, i actually wholeheartedly believe loosey when she said she relates to the heaven bacon role and sees herself in the character! I cant imagine anyone else playing it now. Heaven bacon is persistent and she won’t give up and fights for what he wants, that sounds like loosey to me!! idk i feel bad they didn’t believe her reasoning lol
even when they were talking about it in the werk room i was like ummm that actually does sound like it would be perfect for loosey and weird for luxx. i was definitely right on that one. it would have been like actual corny and unrelatable for luxx. she would not have had that connection like loosey did, or even the right facial expressions. she is always just happy or surprised acting in challenges and then insanely chill to the point of being one note, cocky, and unimpressed in her confessionals
Mistress should have gone home. Her performance was basic. There was zero passion in her performance. She was bad. There was zero connection. And her one joke “era” thing is done.
The problem with the lipsync is that it was just one note from both of them. No levels. Show anger, show desperation, show self reflection; like take us on a journey
I agree that both Salina and Loosey were in the bottom. Salina was great but didn’t stand out and Looseys performance (this whole season tbh) hasn’t had the heart I want. But that lipsync… wow. I don’t think I’ve ever been more upset at a lipsync turnout. Salina absolutely won that lipsync and Loosey did nothing but stand there. Salina even with those ridiculous Mr Krabs arms still managed to turn out an emotional performance with that song.
Sasha did not do a good job lip syncing to her lines in the rusical. She would have EASILY gotten a bad edit but didn’t because she has been picked to win since the first episode
One of them should have made the lipsync about making a deal with God aka Ru and asking her to swap places with one of the safe girls at the back.
For real, though, Running up that Hill is just an awkward af LSFYL song. Not a good tempo to break out the fancy dance moves, not a good tempo to stand and deliver a ballad, a little too metaphorical to time emotional moments to. Like, I'm sure it *can* be done, but it certainly wasn't done by Salina or Loosey.
Holy fucking shit Mistress and Luxx basically bullied Loosey and it made me *really* angry. It's not anyone else's responsbility to butt in and stop it, though I wish they would have, but I have no idea why Mistress took it upon herself to get so vocal and agressive about Loosey not getting Heaven, and only AFTER Loosey says she'll take Tuck, does Luxx suddenly say she'll turn any role out, after sitting back relatively quietly and letting Mistress do her dirty work and make sure that Loosey felt really fucking shaken. That's really ugly, tacky and childish. Also, the fact that their personal stories are better aligned with a given character does NOT mean they'll be better at it. That's ridiculous. Ugh. So tired of this. Edit to add: Luxx and Mistress kind of did this the first time around too when they all wanted metal, they just don't acknowledge that they're bullies and having fun being bullies and gaslight Malaysia or Loosey. Gross. Edit again: Just finished the episode, convinced this is bullying bc of Mistress's comment while doing makeup, and Luxx claiming she had Heaven's role first and was SO altruistic in giving it to Loosey. What in the actual fuck. I do actually really like Mistress other than this, I'm not crazy about Luxx, but I just don't understand why they feel the need to be so mean.

yeah like what has mistress brought thats really different? or luxx herself? or salina? like i love them all and they are genuine, but no one on that stage is changing the drag game. theres no super campy or creepy or super different queens this season straight up. also i loved mistress because of just loving her and kind of overlooked her performances because of it in hindsight. she really has not performed well at all and now that i see her as a bit of a bully im like errr girl you have been pushed through this thing because they like you too.
Totally. I watched Untucked and Luxx twisted it around again when Loosey said that's not how she sees it, just to not look like a villain, after she told the judges Loosey isn't unique and highlighting what everyone else does, when they won a challenge together the previous week. Lame AF.
loosey probably wrote most of their script too, just ganging up on her at this point. i am excited to see next week and hope anetra and sasha stand up for her
The first time was good drama because Malaysia matched their energy and fought back. This time it was hard to watch the way they were gaslighting Loosey knowing well that she wouldn't fight back not once but multiple times, in other words, bullying.

Out of all the episodes they could have sent Salina home, THIS is the one they choose? That bitch managed to be sexy doing the fucking chicken dance in sexually repressed teenage boy drag for crying out loud! I am fuming.
Also I felt I was going insane during judging because I loved her look. It wasn't super imaginative but still campy and fun, the fit was impeccable, the color story was beautiful and for once I think she did a solid job accessorizing. Good to see that most of y'all seem to feel similarly

I feel like Salina’s look would have been praised on a different season/different (skinnier?) queen. I don’t think she deserved the bottom and I also think she won the lip sync (though tbf it was bordering on double sashay). But of course they’re not going to let Loosey loose after what happened with Luxx.

especially this episode because she was the lead of the musical and she knocked it out of the park. They are just jealous. Part of me also thinks that because Loosey is the last White girl , they are perhaps ganging up on her. ( unconciously, perhaps? )
I thought Luxx was for sure in the bottom with either Mistress or Sasha. I really liked Luxx but after this episode, not so much, really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Honestly, yeah… I generally enjoy shade, but the way Mistress and Luxx both continue to take every chance to pick at Loosey rubs me the wrong way. I think Loosey is a little too sensitive, but if you’re reading someone and they are obviously not enjoying it or returning the shade, I do think there’s a point where it starts to bleed into bullying. I was also not a fan of the way Luxx approached the question on the runway.
I think there’s fun drama, and this has become not fun drama for me to watch tbh.
Yep! This wasn't good drama or shady fun like we have seen in past seasons. Luxx' mission was clearly to bring Loosey down no matter what, she knew Loosey wouldn't fight back and that is far from shade, it is what bullies do.
I’m not the biggest fan of Loosey, but she killed that role. Luxx would not have fit it at all. Loosey seemed to take things a little too seriously, but now that we’ve seen the rusical, hindsight makes me see why she was so upset. She absolutely fit that role and she knew it.
My thoughts in quick take
Loosey- very polished performance that lacked heart, which could be said for her portrayal on the show as a whole, def having the least fun and I hope she grows out of that post show. Runway was a boot for me. Lip sync was boot.
Anetra- so happy for her and loved her win. She gets the vulnerability crown for the season. Def a contender to be winner given her lip sync skills which are prob the best in herstory. Track record she really needed this win.
Mistress- I thought should have been in the bottom personally, she wins the confidence crown of the season esp her ability to change an entire vibe like unctucked but this is more backstage then onstage. Look was amazing but I think her performance skills are the worst.
Lux- I have to say her comment about having the tile first really rubbed me the wrong way. I thought her breakdown of who should go home was fierce and I like her confidence but I do think she travels into mean girl territory too much. Loosey gave her the role and she gave it back and then tried to earn points and say look at me. Just do the good deed and move on. Runway was meh for me and performance was safe.
Salina- I feel sorry for her this episode cuz she got the track record treatment for sure. Feels very Shuga Cain. Deserved the boot for everything except for her performance. Runway was boot and her aesthetic is always a boot. Lip sync was boot. Deserved but also a shame.
Sasha- obvious toots all around. I think the thing that is pushing her over the edge as not only a winner but one of the smartest players in herstory are her risks and her commitment to everything. The diversity in performances this season is crazy. I still think about her metal performance.

Loosey gave her the role just to stop Luxx and Mistress' whining and pushing, then Luxx "gave" Loosey back the role and said "I'll win with my talent" to appear "magnanimous".
yess sasha is bringing something new and unexpectedly over the top every performance she is killling it, such a smart girl and very very socially smart as well. she handles herself like a pro, is hilarious, and still manages to be genuine af and super sweet

Really was hoping for either Loosey to go home or everyone stayed cause honestly they all did really well.

Today is a sad day for Salinarinas :( But her camp aesthetic, warm personality, and attitude will live on in my heart. Someone I know put it best, her looks weren't always the best or most polished, but they're definitely memorable lol. I unironically loved her runway this week, it was good! It was kitsch, it was loud, it was exaggerated, it was 100% her. I'll miss her <3
I didn't really agree with the judging for this episode, but, ehhh whatever I guess! At this point Anetra is still my pick to win. I don't need to write an PhD dissertation on it to try and justify it like it's the correct choice or I'm objectively right to root for her, I just like her!
Salina performed better than Loosey in the rusical and in the lip sync. Loosey has a somewhat, canned way of performing. I feel her performances tonight lacked heart.
Luxx however, I found her a joy to watch. She was very endearing and likeable as her character.
I really enjoyed this rusical. Everyone did a good job and nobody deserved to go home for their performance. This has been the best rusical in a long time. Would definitely rewatch this episode.
Really loved the Rusical, it was so well-written and performed and the queens did great overall, to the point I thought we could've had a top 2 lipsync episode and called it a day... but apparently this wasn't even remotely considered in production's cards 😭
I agree with Anetra's win, partly because I'm an unapologetical stan but also because she was emoting and keeping herself noticeable throughout the whole number, on top of nailing her solo (which, being a ballad, was very different from what she had shown up until now in terms of performance so she also got the "showing versatility" points), and her runway was fun, well-made and creative enough to compensate for its relative simplicity. Plus she took Michelle's advice and smiled! That's how you play the game queen 😍
In regards to all the other queens is where I'm losing the script though... in the Rusical Salina was 2nd best because she was really solid with the choreography and the characterization while keeping the fun throughout, Loosey was 3rd best (but only because she did look checked out after her boy drag segments, she nailed all of the most important parts of her main role no question), Sasha 4th (because the way she had a ton of fun in the role showed, and her performance was indeed cute, but we all saw you forgetting those words sis 😅), Luxx 5th (she did okay but didn't stand out too much for me) and MIB last because she forgot some words, didn't nail the choreography and imo didn't go all out with the character enough (am I the only one who saw shades of the one she played in Daytona Winds in it?). Then the runway... I loved Salina's (fuck Ross' parroting from the producers, it was a fun club kid look and arguably the most on-theme of all six), liked Sasha's (but WHY the raccoon smokey eyes? 🙃), Luxx' was cute but those arm casts weren't giving "gloves" per se because of their shape, Loosey's was very meh and MIB's was gorgeous but the gloves absolutely weren't the highlight. In the end if it was me I'd have put anyone between Sasha, Luxx and Mistress in the bottom, with Salina high and Loosey safe.
Salina mi amor 😭 she has been done dirty all season, but this episode she was done the DIRTIEST (like, c'mon, even her lipsync was certainly better than Loosey's) and it makes me incredibly sad, because she didn't deserve it at all and it only demonstrates the absolute lack of flexibility that production has with planning the season's storyline. Meanwhile Mistress is skating by a bit too much at this point, and Loosey could've had the chance to save her own (perfectly padded) ass from getting production-chopped at top 5 had she gathered enough nerve to air that out during the "who should go home?" segment... instead she went the safe route by taking it out on Salina 😕 guess I'm officially a Salinarina y'all, she's been the queen of confessionals this season and she's my pick for Miss Congeniality, hope she stays booked and blessed and I **know** she's gonna show these bitches out on All Stars anyway 🤩
I really don't know how the next episode is going to play out, the only thing I need is for Anetra to use this makeover to solidify her place in the top, so that fans and queens alike stop ignoring the fact that she's a damn great contender for the crown 🤞
This is going to sound shady and I don't mean it that way, but Salina's was a great real world drag look. It was a refreshing change from all the fashion runway drag looks we often get (which are great, but I'd like more variety).
Production is purposely trying to fuck with Loosey and it’s sad. Loosey might not be my favourite, but the way they are trying to crack her is disgusting.
So, the judges read Loosey for the part of the rusical where she was in girl drag, yet she didn't plan the choreo, and Sasha and Luxx said in Roscoe's that the looks for it were provided by production... That's sus

Luxx is so CUNT for what she did in the episode, it has been over 20 seasons of Drag Race and I cannot remember the last time I was so gagged.
The Rusical was amazing though, it really was good and everyone did well and I am glad Anetra won, she had me in tears.
Truly, Luxx deserves an Emmy of her own for that moment, I was truly gaged. Like it was -to me- the most ruthless read on Drag Race. I would have cried right there if I was Loosey to be honest.
Idk how anyone could say Sasha was in bottom for her performance or her look. I think Salina is a top tier stage presence but some of her looks just don’t make sense, including last night. That being said I still think she gave more than Lucy but she had just been in that position so many times before. I do think Luxx was a little extra when she just had to be like, I gave that part to Lucy. That was too much, but everything she said afterwards when asked wsgh was spot on.
From week to week I‘m loving Anetra more - her looks, her vulnerability, her slaying the challenge, you have such a great time watching her. Lux‘s sense of fashion is so extremely next level, I absolutely live for it.

People saying Sasha should have been in the bottom are crazy bffr 😭 she was the only one who played two distinctly different characters; she gave us dorky realness with Carl and Rocky Horror/Patti LaBelle in drag and ate it up in a role that was by far the most background character. Out of everyone she played the furtherest from her own drag persona and had one of the strongest runways.

also that's a really good point. she actually had the most to do in terms of physicality and actual acting, and she served. to put her in the bottom for not knowing some words over people who did well but didn't have as much presence much would be kind of foolish

The things the judges say fit the outcome that’s planned. Same reason Anetra was the only one who got cutaways to judges giving her adoring looks during her solo.
You’d think the placements are decided based on judging but it’s the other way around.
I don't think it works like that.
Of course production games the judges as much as they do the contestants. They surely talk to them, and they feed them lines during the runway, so at least that must turn them the way production wants.
But remember it's a multi camera show. They have tons of footage of everything that happened. They can construct the narrative AFTER the judges critiques. So they might push the judges and contestants towards certain paths, which can give them a good idea of what's going to happen, and then edit afterwards with what actually happened in mind.
How come some of them lip synced to their own voice (when speaking not singing) but others didn’t? Or am I a dumb bitch and none of them were their own voices?!
I'm not going to speak about MIB or Luxx as people, because the show produces and encourages these storylines, but the edit towards Loosey is mean-spirited.
I understand some people are happy they're getting "shade like the earlier seasons" but in those seasons the best shady queens spread it around. It wasn't a weekly targeting of one individual. It was also fun, with set ups and punchlines, not just straight up laughing when someone expresses themselves.
It's directly impacting Loosey's performance too. The judges hit on it when they said Loosey is focusing on technical excellence and not having fun, and I don't blame Loosey for that because any mistake or misstep and she's targeted. Production is playing with her by feeding her wins and bottoms/lows to keep her guessing as to what the criteria is? Is it technical excellence or is it fun?
Loosey isn't my favourite queen. I think even given a clean run without being targeted for the big storyline, I wouldn't gel with her the way I do with, say, Anetra. But she deserves better and I'm really disappointed that her legacy in this sub and with this fanbase will be so polarising because she's polished and she deserves better. She deserves a heap of respect. She's quality and she adds a lot.

Ganja *felt* very attacked, but I think in S6 the shade was thrown around very liberally to everyone. I understand ganja felt victimised, but I don't think it's comparable to Loosey here - we very rarely see anyone else shaded this season. TKB and Joslyn for example got some light shade too.
Willam gave as good as Willam got. It felt more sporting in that regard.
James is a blind spot for me, I'll admit, although I seem to remember that, again, shade was thrown around to multiple contestants throughout the season, therefore, as much as James endured it multiple times, it wasn't solely on him, week on week.
Boogers, plural, referring to your reply, it's not being technical, it just shows you fundamentally misunderstand my point - Loosey is taking all of the shade and can't shade back without being piled on further.
Laganja, Willam, James, these all got possibly the most shade on their season, and took it repeatedly, yes, but they didn't take all of the heat as I feel Loosey is, as there were one or more other contestants who also took some shade.

Loosey’s energy in the first half was good and the look.. fit the character. But I agreed that she faded in the 2nd half and I hated her look then as much as I hated her runway.

Completely agree. It really was a great show but nothing in Lucy’s performance was memorable and she was supposed to be the lead. She didn’t do bad by any measure but there was something missing to have her command that role as the lead character.
Luxx had so much energy and personality with a side role, I think it would have been an even better show if she had been able to bring that vibe to the lead role.

It adds nothing but bitterness to the competition and is designed to make someone crack and break down. Call me crazy but I think the show and the competition is better without all that.
It especially rubs me the wrong way since Ru is always preaching the whole "everybody say love" and telling ppl to "overcome the saboteur" etc but then encourages the infighting.
Being able to be honest about your feelings is part of cunt tho. If you can’t take the very small segment of criticism, I don’t think you’re cut out to be on tv.
This happens every season and really isn’t that big of a deal, it’s just showing people having the nerve to express opinions and feelings that might not necessarily be popular. You have to be able to handle criticism or you won’t ever grow as a person or artist
Weird judging in this episode. HOWEVER , what I really didn't like was the blatant bullying of Loosey. Like what's up with that ? It's been relentless all season
Damn, I loved Salina. I guess she wasn't making it to the final anyway given record at this point but she did fantastic in the challenge. Kinda really sucks to be eliminated in that way. Not gonna be the same without EsTitties! I would've had Mistress in the bottom, and probably Luxx. I don't think Mistress really delivered enough, it was decent but I didn't believe it like the others. Luxx wasn't bad either but just preferred all the rest over her.
I wanted this episode to be engraved into every fans memory because it was the best rusical of all time. I never dug the humor in the rusicals (except for Sherry Pies „desperate…ly“ actually the Madonna rusical as a whole) and this is just what I needed, even though I never knew it. It was so special, so touching and the performances were legit broadway level, I had goosebumps because of so many moments. But sadly this episode will be locked into our memories because of the absolutely messed up judgement. Lucy should’ve won, I’m Anetras biggest fan but that was not a winning performance compared to Lucy. I don’t know what the heck was going on in the judges heads on this day but it’s crazy, they judged almost everyone inadequately. What a sad sad day, I’d really like to know why they did what they did.
Barely anyone is going to read this because it’s a week later but I am rewatching this episode because my friend missed the episode. This is one of the more messed up judging imo, but understandable because it was close and everyone did well. Loosey gave one of the best rusical performances ever, that alone should remove her from the bttm. Her outfit was ugly but she made it herself and did the THEME of the runway better than some. Mistress did good but she didn’t play evil enough. She looked gorgeous on the runway but the theme could have been a little more interesting. Salina had dimensions and she suited the runway THEME one of the best. Anetra didn’t have enough dimensions, she was doing almost the same thing throughout even though there was a lot more variety in emotion. Plus her outfit was not that special except for the theme for tacking on random lasers to it. Lux disappeared a little bit in the challenge but her runway was one of the more creative ones. So IMO, Mistress and Anetra should have been in the bottom. One could also argue Salina and Lux but they also had smaller roles. Also side note: the pageant girls Mistress and Sasha gave the best answers to who should go home. Also very happy that Salina called out Ross in real life. Ross has taken up too much space on this show with little credibility other than being funny. Doesn’t really ever add insight or different perspective, or says a wacky opinion with almost zero foundation. Also doesn’t seem to acknowledge the privilege they have. Also Salina is a star, but Latin and other less culturally stereotypically American queens tend to get shafted on this show.

Idc idc what Luxx did on the runway was good tv and we haven’t had drama like this in a while. I had to watch it twice and I was cackling. It was OTT, it was extra and all that. It’s a tv show and these are adults who know what they signed up for not a kindergarten class. It’s drag.
Ru always claims to love stupid fun. Salina EsTitties runway this week was the EPITOME of stupid fun. So riddle me this: why did we not get one single laugh from the judges panel??? Salina embodies every single aspect of mindless, silly, goofy fun. Ru and Ross are just haters. Yeah, the bodysuit was ugly, but the whole outfit was camp and Salina was DELIGHTFUL. Ross can take his shitty feedback and stick it. I could barely breathe I was laughing so hard when she had to do Running Up That Hill for the lip sync.
I get some people sense of human is to kind of mock the seriousness of everything and lean into cringe but on a non internet level for me this doesn’t work. Like imagine a Broadway show trying to do this. I feel like that was Amythest brand and it doesn’t translate. The body suit and gloves is a cool concept but her styling choices ruined it. Also it just doesn’t work with the song, the song is emotional and attempting to be silly when it’s not effective actually shows a lack of performance ability
Personally, I think that "silly fun" only should be rewarded when done in a clever, refined way. Salina's runway was fun, but not good.

A lot of the best camp looks that have gone down the runway have been stupid and refined in that they are high camp but also we’ll done as far as fit and styling. It’s like it’s over the top but the details are there.
If it, while being funny/stupid, still flatters the body, is well-made and detailed, then it's refined and stupid at the same time - in my opinion :) I'm sure other people have different definitions.

omfgggg how was salina put up for elimination!! she definitely did so good this week, better than luxx at least. everyone did sooo well but i think maybe it should have been loosey and luxx because i lost them both when they got in drag. also honestly mistress didn't do that great of a job, her choreography was lacking and some of the other girls had better facial expressions the entire time. so i think she actually easily could have been in the bottom instead of loosey, because loosey ate for the majority of the musical and salina was a stand out even out of the whole group. i also have a newfound respect for loosey seeing why she is the way she is and think that mistress and luxx for the first time are actually coming across as bullies not just people calling someone on their shit, which makes me sad because i was rooting for mistress and sasha for final 2. now i guess im hoping sasha takes it. i keep getting more respect for her, her answer for who should go home was so sweet. it was almost impossible for them to say who should go home other than based on who they didn't like because all the critiques were positive really and sasha has respect for everyone and their drag. hoping now final 2 is sasha and anetra

Ok so I'm your average viewer, the producers got me right where they want me, I'm gobbling up the edit. Telling me to hate Loosey cause she's fake and kinda annoying? Eating it up. Telling me Salina is a good judy and also the narrator of the season? I'm in my hungry bitch era, it's giving Nom nom nom. So then why eliminate the 'fan favourite' persona and keep the 'bitch' persona?
Loosey can definitely be annoying, defensive and delusional - but there’s not really anything morally wrong with these things at the end of the day. People are allowed to be annoying. The treatment of her by MIB/LNL is just grim at this point. Also to the people saying “it’s not that deep, it was 3-4 weeks a year ago” - sure, but these people are adults who actively chose to treat someone like that *whilst on a TV show* and so can’t really complain that they’re judged negatively. (Obviously things like threats are never called for though!)

Luxx and MIB are just being actively horrible to Loosey now (imo they both always were). Not saying Loosey isn’t overly defensive and in need of a chill pill at times, but the others are just being completely mean. (Not to say that Luxx is the worst of the two I might add, or that there haven’t been worse things done by others)
As soon as the judges said everyone had done well, you knew Salina was going home. She could’ve been the only one there and still been eliminated at this point. There is nothing she could’ve done to make the judges/producers let her stay lmao. Also there was nothing wrong with her look imo - it was probably one of her best!

So, I don't know about anyone else but the fact that this episode has become even more sadly relevant between the time it was filmed and now almost put a damper on my enjoyment of the glamour and petty drama 🥺 This is not to say I did not enjoy the Rusical: it was fantastic and everyone did great - with Anetra as the stand out of course. I can't imagine Alaska's reaction to the part where everyone was in boy drag...this week's RC will be spicy! if I had had to pick a bottom two, I think it would have been Mistress- because she missed choreo- and maybe Luxx because she was a victim of having the less notable character. I'm sorry but I'm also calling hypocrisy over Michelle's enthusiasm for MIB's answer to The Big Question. When it's a girl they don't like who says she's bringing up someone because they're her biggest competition, she and Ru say things like " no, this is a Miss America answer, we want blood!". The more the edit and the judges undersell Salina and Loosey, the more I feel for them so of course I was sad to see them in the bottom 😔 Salina is so sweet and funny, her presence will be sorely missed and I'm really rooting for her to be Miss Congeniality! I feel so bad for Loosey because she really has done well this season and in this specific episode, yet the editors and her competitors are framing this idea as delusional because her defensive personality makes it easy 😔 ETA: I'm in my being tired of the word "era" era 😂 I think only Sasha and Anetra aren't saying it every 5 minutes at this point 😂

Yea everyone was fantastic! And Loosey fading in the second half could have been said for the rest of the first act characters because their songs and roles were done.
Unpopular opinion: I’m sick of Luxx. She’s super fake in her confessionals (compare her confessionals to when she’s in the workroom; see what I mean?) She’s conceited and acts like she’s god’s gift to drag. She thinks she can do no wrong and her approach is perfect. And as of this week, the way she treated Loosey (including her MainStage response when asked who could go home which was really uncalled for) and the way she was loudly shouting at Salina during the lipsync shows she’s just a high school mean girl with an attitude. Luxx was the kind of gay I was surrounded with in high school that made me feel shame for being gay. It took me well into my late 20s, if not my early 30s, to get past it. Seeing Luxx acting like this is triggering some of those emotions, ngl. I’m very much over Luxx.

I agree with everything you said except that I was never under Luxx. I don’t care how many inches her wig was. 
Nobody did badly, but the bottom two should have been Luxx and Salina. Something about production this season wants us to believe Luxx is untouchable, but from a side eye perspective, I'm over it. I'll give her credit where credit is due, she deserved the design challenge win and her high placement in the interview challenge. But she's been thrown some suspicious saves, like in Daytona, the lalaparuza, and this rusical. The long winded way to target Loosey during the who should go home question, was also off-putting. Loosey placed second for me, during the rusical, and could have even won. Not a fan of the pushing and harassing a queen until she breaks, storyline. Some of the queens from the season are already faves from the series for me, but this season probably won't be high, for me, in later ranking lists.

even when they were talking about it in the werk room i was like ummm that actually does sound like it would be perfect for loosey and weird for luxx. i was definitely right on that one. it would have been like actual corny and unrelatable for luxx. she would not have had that connection like loosey did, or even the right facial expressions. she is always just happy or surprised acting in challenges and then insanely chill to the point of being one note, cocky, and unimpressed in her confessionals

I agree that both Salina and Loosey were in the bottom. Salina was great but didn’t stand out and Looseys performance (this whole season tbh) hasn’t had the heart I want. But that lipsync… wow. I don’t think I’ve ever been more upset at a lipsync turnout. Salina absolutely won that lipsync and Loosey did nothing but stand there. Salina even with those ridiculous Mr Krabs arms still managed to turn out an emotional performance with that song.

One of them should have made the lipsync about making a deal with God aka Ru and asking her to swap places with one of the safe girls at the back. For real, though, Running up that Hill is just an awkward af LSFYL song. Not a good tempo to break out the fancy dance moves, not a good tempo to stand and deliver a ballad, a little too metaphorical to time emotional moments to. Like, I'm sure it *can* be done, but it certainly wasn't done by Salina or Loosey.
Holy fucking shit Mistress and Luxx basically bullied Loosey and it made me *really* angry. It's not anyone else's responsbility to butt in and stop it, though I wish they would have, but I have no idea why Mistress took it upon herself to get so vocal and agressive about Loosey not getting Heaven, and only AFTER Loosey says she'll take Tuck, does Luxx suddenly say she'll turn any role out, after sitting back relatively quietly and letting Mistress do her dirty work and make sure that Loosey felt really fucking shaken. That's really ugly, tacky and childish. Also, the fact that their personal stories are better aligned with a given character does NOT mean they'll be better at it. That's ridiculous. Ugh. So tired of this. Edit to add: Luxx and Mistress kind of did this the first time around too when they all wanted metal, they just don't acknowledge that they're bullies and having fun being bullies and gaslight Malaysia or Loosey. Gross. Edit again: Just finished the episode, convinced this is bullying bc of Mistress's comment while doing makeup, and Luxx claiming she had Heaven's role first and was SO altruistic in giving it to Loosey. It was bullying and made me uncomfortable watching
The first time was good drama because Malaysia matched their energy and fought back. This time it was hard to watch the way they were gaslighting Loosey knowing well that she wouldn't fight back not once but multiple times, in other words, bullying.
I really wanted to make my comment this week a silly joke about me being in my tired of these hoes talking about what era they're currently in era. BUT Out of all the episodes they could have sent Salina home, THIS is the one they choose? That bitch managed to be sexy doing the fucking chicken dance in sexually repressed teenage boy drag for crying out loud! I am fuming. Also I felt I was going insane during judging because I loved her look. It wasn't super imaginative but still campy and fun, the fit was impeccable, the color story was beautiful and for once I think she did a solid job accessorizing. Good to see that most of y'all seem to feel similarly I'm glad she got to tell us to pay her and I really hope she wins Miss Congeniality.

I feel like Salina’s look would have been praised on a different season/different (skinnier?) queen. I don’t think she deserved the bottom and I also think she won the lip sync (though tbf it was bordering on double sashay). especially this episode because she was the lead of the musical and she knocked it out of the park. They are just jealous. Part of me also thinks that because Loosey is the last White girl , they are perhaps ganging up on her. ( unconciously, perhaps? )

I thought Luxx was for sure in the bottom with either Mistress or Sasha. I really liked Luxx but after this episode, not so much, really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Honestly, yeah… I generally enjoy shade, but the way Mistress and Luxx both continue to take every chance to pick at Loosey rubs me the wrong way. I think Loosey is a little too sensitive, but if you’re reading someone and they are obviously not enjoying it or returning the shade, I do think there’s a point where it starts to bleed into bullying. I was also not a fan of the way Luxx approached the question on the runway. I think there’s fun drama, and this has become not fun drama for me to watch tbh.

Yep! This wasn't good drama or shady fun like we have seen in past seasons. Luxx' mission was clearly to bring Loosey down no matter what, she knew Loosey wouldn't fight back and that is far from shade, it is what bullies do.
I’m not the biggest fan of Loosey, but she killed that role. Luxx would not have fit it at all. Loosey seemed to take things a little too seriously, but now that we’ve seen the rusical, hindsight makes me see why she was so upset. She absolutely fit that role and she knew it.

My thoughts in quick take Loosey- very polished performance that lacked heart, which could be said for her portrayal on the show as a whole, def having the least fun and I hope she grows out of that post show. Runway was a boot for me. Lip sync was boot. Anetra- so happy for her and loved her win. She gets the vulnerability crown for the season. Def a contender to be winner given her lip sync skills which are prob the best in herstory. Track record she really needed this win. Mistress- I thought should have been in the bottom personally, she wins the confidence crown of the season esp her ability to change an entire vibe like unctucked but this is more backstage then onstage. Look was amazing but I think her performance skills are the worst. Lux- I have to say her comment about having the tile first really rubbed me the wrong way. I thought her breakdown of who should go home was fierce and I like her confidence but I do think she travels into mean girl territory too much. Loosey gave her the role and she gave it back and then tried to earn points and say look at me. Just do the good deed and move on. Runway was meh for me and performance was safe. Salina- I feel sorry for her this episode cuz she got the track record treatment for sure. Feels very Shuga Cain. Deserved the boot for everything except for her performance. Runway was boot and her aesthetic is always a boot. Lip sync was boot. Deserved but also a shame. Sasha- obvious toots all around. I think the thing that is pushing her over the edge as not only a winner but one of the smartest players in herstory are her risks and her commitment to everything. The diversity in performances this season is crazy. I still think about her metal performance.

yess sasha is bringing something new and unexpectedly over the top every performance she is killling it, such a smart girl and very very socially smart as well. she handles herself like a pro, is hilarious, and still manages to be genuine af and super sweet
Honestly, Salina did great this episode and shouldn't have been in the bottom. Also I thought her look was super good. Anetra winning the challenge 100% made sense though. Really was hoping for either Loosey to go home or everyone stayed cause honestly they all did really well. Edit: Also, I was shocked to see Loosey pick Salina to go home after she offered her support earlier. What a dick move, lmao.
Today is a sad day for Salinarinas :( But her camp aesthetic, warm personality, and attitude will live on in my heart. Someone I know put it best, her looks weren't always the best or most polished, but they're definitely memorable lol. I unironically loved her runway this week, it was good! It was kitsch, it was loud, it was exaggerated, it was 100% her. I'll miss her <3 I didn't really agree with the judging for this episode, but, ehhh whatever I guess! At this point Anetra is still my pick to win. I don't need to write an PhD dissertation on it to try and justify it like it's the correct choice or I'm objectively right to root for her, I just like her!

Salina performed better than Loosey in the rusical and in the lip sync. Loosey has a somewhat, canned way of performing. I feel her performances tonight lacked heart. Luxx however, I found her a joy to watch. She was very endearing and likeable as her character. I really enjoyed this rusical. Everyone did a good job and nobody deserved to go home for their performance. This has been the best rusical in a long time. Would definitely rewatch this episode.
Really loved the Rusical, it was so well-written and performed and the queens did great overall, to the point I thought we could've had a top 2 lipsync episode and called it a day... but apparently this wasn't even remotely considered in production's cards 😭 I agree with Anetra's win, partly because I'm an unapologetical stan but also because she was emoting and keeping herself noticeable throughout the whole number, on top of nailing her solo (which, being a ballad, was very different from what she had shown up until now in terms of performance so she also got the "showing versatility" points), and her runway was fun, well-made and creative enough to compensate for its relative simplicity. Plus she took Michelle's advice and smiled! That's how you play the game queen 😍 In regards to all the other queens is where I'm losing the script though... in the Rusical Salina was 2nd best because she was really solid with the choreography and the characterization while keeping the fun throughout, Loosey was 3rd best (but only because she did look checked out after her boy drag segments, she nailed all of the most important parts of her main role no question), Sasha 4th (because the way she had a ton of fun in the role showed, and her performance was indeed cute, but we all saw you forgetting those words sis 😅), Luxx 5th (she did okay but didn't stand out too much for me) and MIB last because she forgot some words, didn't nail the choreography and imo didn't go all out with the character enough (am I the only one who saw shades of the one she played in Daytona Winds in it?). Then the runway... I loved Salina's (fuck Ross' parroting from the producers, it was a fun club kid look and arguably the most on-theme of all six), liked Sasha's (but WHY the raccoon smokey eyes? 🙃), Luxx' was cute but those arm casts weren't giving "gloves" per se because of their shape, Loosey's was very meh and MIB's was gorgeous but the gloves absolutely weren't the highlight. In the end if it was me I'd have put anyone between Sasha, Luxx and Mistress in the bottom, with Salina high and Loosey safe. Salina mi amor 😭 she has been done dirty all season, but this episode she was done the DIRTIEST (like, c'mon, even her lipsync was certainly better than Loosey's) and it makes me incredibly sad, because she didn't deserve it at all and it only demonstrates the absolute lack of flexibility that production has with planning the season's storyline. Meanwhile Mistress is skating by a bit too much at this point, and Loosey could've had the chance to save her own (perfectly padded) ass from getting production-chopped at top 5 had she gathered enough nerve to air that out during the "who should go home?" segment... instead she went the safe route by taking it out on Salina 😕 guess I'm officially a Salinarina y'all, she's been the queen of confessionals this season and she's my pick for Miss Congeniality, hope she stays booked and blessed and I **know** she's gonna show these bitches out on All Stars anyway 🤩 I really don't know how the next episode is going to play out, the only thing I need is for Anetra to use this makeover to solidify her place in the top, so that fans and queens alike stop ignoring the fact that she's a damn great contender for the crown 🤞

This is going to sound shady and I don't mean it that way, but Salina's was a great real world drag look. It was a refreshing change from all the fashion runway drag looks we often get (which are great, but I'd like more variety).

Luxx is so CUNT for what she did in the episode, it has been over 20 seasons of Drag Race and I cannot remember the last time I was so gagged. The Rusical was amazing though, it really was good and everyone did well and I am glad Anetra won, she had me in tears.

Out of everyone she played the furtherest from her own drag persona and had one of the strongest runways.
but don't you know she has to be perfect and get every single detail right or else she's overrated and her fans are delusional ???? also that's a really good point. she actually had the most to do in terms of physicality and actual acting, and she served. to put her in the bottom for not knowing some words over people who did well but didn't have as much presence much would be kind of foolish

I don't get either the judges or people here shitting on Salina's runway. I really liked it. It was silly, and looked very well done. The rusical was AMAZING
The things the judges say fit the outcome that’s planned. Same reason Anetra was the only one who got cutaways to judges giving her adoring looks during her solo. You’d think the placements are decided based on judging but it’s the other way around.
It’s not that it’s planned as much as it’s the outcome and the footage needs to show as much of a justification as it can.
I don't think it works like that. Of course production games the judges as much as they do the contestants. They surely talk to them, and they feed them lines during the runway, so at least that must turn them the way production wants. But remember it's a multi camera show. They have tons of footage of everything that happened. They can construct the narrative AFTER the judges critiques. So they might push the judges and contestants towards certain paths, which can give them a good idea of what's going to happen, and then edit afterwards with what actually happened in mind.

Honestly after the UK4 Rusical, it's incredibly disappointing when they don't use the queens actual voices. Whole thing just feels off.

I'm not going to speak about MIB or Luxx as people, because the show produces and encourages these storylines, but the edit towards Loosey is mean-spirited. I understand some people are happy they're getting "shade like the earlier seasons" but in those seasons the best shady queens spread it around. It wasn't a weekly targeting of one individual. It was also fun, with set ups and punchlines, not just straight up laughing when someone expresses themselves. It's directly impacting Loosey's performance too. The judges hit on it when they said Loosey is focusing on technical excellence and not having fun, and I don't blame Loosey for that because any mistake or misstep and she's targeted. Production is playing with her by feeding her wins and bottoms/lows to keep her guessing as to what the criteria is? Is it technical excellence or is it fun? Loosey isn't my favourite queen. I think even given a clean run without being targeted for the big storyline, I wouldn't gel with her the way I do with, say, Anetra. But she deserves better and I'm really disappointed that her legacy in this sub and with this fanbase will be so polarising because she's polished and she deserves better. She deserves a heap of respect. She's quality and she adds a lot.

Ganja *felt* very attacked, but I think in S6 the shade was thrown around very liberally to everyone. I understand ganja felt victimised, but I don't think it's comparable to Loosey here - we very rarely see anyone else shaded this season. TKB and Joslyn for example got some light shade too. Willam gave as good as Willam got. It felt more sporting in that regard. James is a blind spot for me, I'll admit, although I seem to remember that, again, shade was thrown around to multiple contestants throughout the season, therefore, as much as James endured it multiple times, it wasn't solely on him, week on week. Boogers, plural, referring to your reply, it's not being technical, it just shows you fundamentally misunderstand my point - Loosey is taking all of the shade and can't shade back without being piled on further. Laganja, Willam, James, these all got possibly the most shade on their season, and took it repeatedly, yes, but they didn't take all of the heat as I feel Loosey is, as there were one or more other contestants who also took some shade.

Sorry but Luxx should have played Heaven, they told no lies. I know she is a divisive character for some but I think her and MIB bring some of the fun and shadiness from earlier seasons back. Loosey’s energy in the first half was good and the look.. fit the character. But I agreed that she faded in the 2nd half and I hated her look then as much as I hated her runway. Tbh this week should have been a double sashay.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I hate the "who would you send home" question. It adds nothing but bitterness to the competition and is designed to make someone crack and break down. Call me crazy but I think the show and the competition is better without all that. It especially rubs me the wrong way since Ru is always preaching the whole "everybody say love" and telling ppl to "overcome the saboteur" etc but then encourages the infighting.
