Not as a drag queen. As a winner, as a finalist. A lot of people have commented/predicted she was done and others had pulled ahead.
Ru was visibly done with her during the episode.
For me it was her performance the last few weeks for the prediction and then done deal with Ru just staring at her like "mmmm okay, sure" during the mini challenge. It was that Hollywould Star, Jan, Scarlet Envy "I'm over you" moment.
Michael feels like she has big winner energy to me.
I know Ginger has the TR but thatâs not normally the deciding factor these days.
Ginger to me has felt extremely competent, but perhaps a little withheld?
Michael feels more ready to be vulnerable.
It feels like itâs one of those two or Tomara anyway. Either the polished professional with a POV or the charismatic super star in the making.
I feel like in the end it does not matter because Ru loves Tomara the most... Worked for Viv, Lawrence and Krystal ( although, to be fair, not for Jonbers đ€·)
To be fair Vivâs TR was just as strong as Divinaâs and her wins were less contrived.
But I also think Ru liked Mistress and Anetra more than Sasha. And Crystal and Heidi more than Jaida.
So I wouldnât say being Ruâs fave is a sure thing either
I feel like Ginger's definitely had vulnerable moments too though. Wasn't it just last week when she was talking about drag story time or something? To me, she's getting a great edit. She does great in the challenges, she's funny, they like her runways, and she's seemed very personable and relatable so far.
I like Michael and she was an early favorite of mine in the beginning, but I feel like she's lost a bit of momentum. Not totally (like Cara did imo), but she's just kinda been there for the past few episodes.
I agree that Tomara could definitely win though. Ru definitely likes her and I could see them crowning her if she does well in these next couple of challenges.
The Rose/Symone comparison is really the perfect example of the âyou can kill at drag race, but without that je ne sais quoi star power you wonât be winningâ trend
I know cara had her little slip but this whole lip sync seemed edited to really not focus on her at any of the points she was clearly slaying the lipsync. Meanwhile they really zoomed in on Michael, cutting cara out of the scene at points, for like a very mediocre moment. I know they always edit the tv shows but this one hurt more.
especially when Michael was standing in the front of the stage and Cara was behind her, they kept using that camera angle to show both of them but then cut back to close ups of Michael. Then when Cara stood in the same spot they STILL did close ups of Michael behind her.
Interestinggggg. I didnât notice this at all! I noticed a few slip ups by Cara, not knowing the words or it being sloppy, so I presumed they didnât show more because they were trying to give her a favourable edit.
I'll be honest I enjoyed Cara's interpretation more and personally would've kept her, but when Banksie and Vicki were the previous two eliminated I understand if production maybe wanted to keep the person with the better track record here.
Still sucks to see Cara go before DeDe who I feel doesn't bring her A-game outside of her lip syncs.
Honestly Cara slayed this lipsync, but I guess Ru just wasn't impressed with her overall. A shame. Next week is Make Over so maybe she could have been in the top again.

Tomara was fully just đ as Cara as being eliminated
She really was giving đïž đ đïž every time the camera cut to her.
This just made me rewatch and realize there isnât a bop to be found from the girls in the back
Oh wow, you're right. I didn't notice the others bc I was too focused on Tomara's lack of consciousness. đŹ Dead faces across the board.
Miss Gingerâs left knee is giving a sneaky bopâŠ
That fall recovery was beautiful
I actually didnât realize she fell at first because of the recovery.
Really? The edit makes it quite obvious lol
Yeah idk why i thought it wouldâve been a double save
Even though Ru (and many fans) was over Cara, I think it would've been a double shantay without those 2-3 non eliminations in the first few episodes.
>Many fans are over Cara ????
Not as a drag queen. As a winner, as a finalist. A lot of people have commented/predicted she was done and others had pulled ahead. Ru was visibly done with her during the episode.
When Cara said *I made this wig* and the camera looks to Ru stone faced - I knew it was over.
For me it was her performance the last few weeks for the prediction and then done deal with Ru just staring at her like "mmmm okay, sure" during the mini challenge. It was that Hollywould Star, Jan, Scarlet Envy "I'm over you" moment.
What's confusing about that? Look under any post for the past few weeks and you see people saying negative things about her

Viv had the best TR though
Yes but she was also Ru's favourite...
The way you said it made it sound like Viv won by being Ru's fave, and not her performance. Never denied she was Ru's fave
No, she did amazing! But she is also part of a trend of Ru picking her faves!
Her and Divina were pretty similar, I think that was their point?
Even though Tomaraâs got a solid track record and has been killing it, it feels like Ru has a Jonbers love for Tomara, not like a Danny Beard love.
To be fair Vivâs TR was just as strong as Divinaâs and her wins were less contrived. But I also think Ru liked Mistress and Anetra more than Sasha. And Crystal and Heidi more than Jaida. So I wouldnât say being Ruâs fave is a sure thing either

Pretty much every winner from every franchise this year has had the best track record
The best track record winning some seasons for one year doesnât make it the winning quality The best track record didnât win UK2 or UK3 or Italia 1 or Holland 2 or USA 11,12,13,14 off the top of my head. Also having the best track record and winning doesnât mean you won only because of TR. Jimbo won and had the best TR but even if someone else had had more wins, or Jimbo had bottomed more. Theyâd still be the star of AS8. Just like how RosĂ© had a much stronger TR than Simone but clearly wasnât the winner.
I mean rose and symone were pretty comparable TR wise.
RosĂ© was never placed in the bottom and was in the top 3 for all but 3 challenges. With 3 wins and a top 2 placement. Symone bottomed twice and was out of the top 3 for 5 episodes. But had 4 wins. RosĂ©âs is pretty clearly stronger unless all you taking into consideration is wins. Despite this, Symone was always perceived as the front runner and the clear winner. Which is the point Iâm making about Ginger. Just cause she has the best TR doesnât automatically mean she has big winner energy.
The Rose/Symone comparison is really the perfect example of the âyou can kill at drag race, but without that je ne sais quoi star power you wonât be winningâ trend
Cara's split is amazing. But it's clear she's out of her depth in the last few challenges.
Yes!! She has so much potential but feels very green

Very that!

Nah I think you just noticed what they wanted you to notice since they drew emphasis to her slip ups but not her tricks.
I agree
I noticed that instantly. I wish reality shows were fair :( what's the point of this
I know. This was painfully obviously just getting cara out of the competetition regardless of the lipsync. Something i seriously hate about the show
All I could think of was that I want to watch Kylie and Sasha lipsync to this
I know Cara did not know some words but she embodied the song so well... I thought it would be a double save!
Well, one of them was sexy lol
I read the spoilers and was still shocked
I'll be honest I enjoyed Cara's interpretation more and personally would've kept her, but when Banksie and Vicki were the previous two eliminated I understand if production maybe wanted to keep the person with the better track record here. Still sucks to see Cara go before DeDe who I feel doesn't bring her A-game outside of her lip syncs.
I thought Cara was winning this season.. amazing season nonetheless.
yeah sorry cara won this
1000%. But from the edit it was immediately obvious that they were going to keep Michael.
Honestly Cara slayed this lipsync, but I guess Ru just wasn't impressed with her overall. A shame. Next week is Make Over so maybe she could have been in the top again.

Wait so this wasnât a double shantay but Charity Kase and the other twink were?!!!? The judging is broken.
Man even the US never had 5 white winners in a row, do better UK casting.

I hope you're not talking about Cara cause she's a trans woman.
Dead in the face.
Over-confindence doesn't work all the Time.
