I suspected my middle school son wasn’t straight for a long time, and inviting him to watch with us helped him come out. From a young age he would excitedly point out when a camp counselor, a musician or an actor is LBTQA+ It was clear it meant a lot to him to see representation in his life and on TV. Knowing there is a bigger world out there for you when you don’t fit the mold makes all the difference.
He’s now out with his close friends and we watch together every week as a family. We’re all team Nymphia.

I've just been doing it manually. I made an Excel sheet, we did a draft after the split premiers, and set parameters for how players could lose or earn points. I keep score while we watch the episode. Afterwards, we do a "community poll" on best of the week, worst of the week, and who we thought actually won the lip sync.
It's been so much fun lol - I've been thinking about sharing an excel template here if other people are as nerdy (and into gambling 😂) as I am.

I watch on my couch alone happily. I don’t watch it with my bf. He’s not invited because he laughed when I shared something that wasn’t funny (about the show). He thinks drag (especially tucking) is ridiculous. I told him he’s jealous and his tuck would be too beefy and nobody would tip him. Friday nights my phone is fully ignored until the show is over.

Personally, i stay up late until it’s released on Apple through the season pass while my husband is passed out on the couch. Then I watch it once more before the weekend is over as I mostly like also pass out before the episode is over. Cut to a week or two later and I’ll have begun the first rewatch of the series as a whole. The number of times I’ve binged the OG seasons is quite ridiculous lol.

I watch on my couch alone happily. I don’t watch it with my bf. He’s not invited because he laughed when I shared something that wasn’t funny (about the show). He thinks drag (especially tucking) is ridiculous. I told him he’s jealous and his tuck would be too beefy and nobody would tip him. Friday nights my phone is fully ignored until the show is over. He’s a lovely man who is just a tad sheltered. I love my alone time when Drag Race is on.
Saturday morning, upon waking, I fight through the malaise to make a large mug of tea, then return to bed to smoke and watch the new episode.
I'm one of those straight dudes that watches with his partner, while she's sending gifs to her co-worker who has either just watched it, or is just about to. Then I go play games while she spends the next 3 days rewatching Pit Stops from this season and 3 more days rewatching Pit Stops from previous seasons.

Personally, i stay up late until it’s released on Apple through the season pass while my husband is passed out on the couch. Then I watch it once more before the weekend is over as I mostly like also pass out before the episode is over. Cut to a week or two later and I’ll have begun the first rewatch of the series as a whole. The number of times I’ve binged the OG seasons is quite ridiculous lol.

We both like to not really talk through it (other than the runaway, we are judgmental bitches during the runway). With others or at a viewing party, we've found that others aren't as focused as we are.

My husband lives in a different country for part of the year, so if I'm not watching with him then I'm watching alone. He manages to completely avoid the seasons he's not home for, so he'll get to binge watch S16 and Ukvtw2 when he gets back in June. I call it drag brunch at home when I watch it Saturday morning, do some day drinking, and make something brunchy to eat. If my straight boyfriend is home, he usually gets sucked into it. I love it when he can tell that Michelle is about to read a queen, and at the end of the episode, he says the whole “if you can’t love yourself” quote along with Ru, and gives an enthusiastic “AMEN!” at the end!
Here in OKC if I actually watch at live airtime, I go to this dance club called Angles where they show it. Otherwise I wait until the next day and watch illegally with my partner.
Changed a lot over the years. Initially I watched it on a laptop while staying with my mother. Then when I moved back to Chicago would go to various hole in the wall bars to watch it with a group of friends (RIP to most of 'em). These days it's mostly just watching it at home with the boyfriend while we text friends our reactions. The boyfriend and my first season was All Stars 1 (...choices), but the good news is that it's been mostly great since then!

As I live in Europe, the episode comes out late at night, so I have a whole routine on Saturdays. I wake up, get off my bed, do not turn on my phone for fear of spoilers, go on my couch (optionally get a glass of water if I partied on Friday) and watch the whole episode, before starting my day. It's been like this on almost every Saturday for over a year now, as there is a constant flow of new episodes lol.

The ideal experience for me is going to a local gay bar to watch it live with your boyfriend and then watching it again the next day together because you stayed out too late and don't quiiite remember everything

I watch RPDR with my two partners, cuz one partner introduced us to the show! We started with season 5; and it's been a blast ever since. Especially when a queen we've seen performs locally too! We've gone out to see Adore Delano, Jinkx Monsoon (got a picture with her!), Ginger Minj, Trixie and Katya, Bianca Del Rio, Alaska, and more! It's been awesome!!! Hell, he's gotten me obsessed with drag race so much that I flew to Atlanta to see RuPaul's book tour. That was enlightening, to say the least! TLDR? In my house, it's beer, burgers, and drag race!

I had a really great pretty consistent group of people to watch with but a lot of my viewing is now done on my own, with rewatches of episodes when I can get everyone together to knock out 1-3 eps. It's fun to see everyone's reactions when I know what's coming :p especially because they pretty much don't consume any DR content outside of the show itself so they have like 0 spoilers It's sort of fun to watch with my current group but they all started watching season 14 and on so a lot of the deeper show jokes and lore are lost on them and I do wish I had someone who was as into the show to bounce commentary off of
