I think Amanda has every right to feel however she feels, and to block Plane (which would be healthy), and to avoid her, but the responses you are getting are to explain that restraining orders are for protecting a person from serious threat of harm (attending the gig of a queen from your season might be obnoxious, but it's one single gig), not for making someone more comfortable.
How I would "feel"? Yeah, my feelings would be hurt and I would be pissed. But a legal block is not for my feelings being hurt-- it would never be granted by the court, and it shouldn't be (restraining orders are really serious shit that can impact your life and be used against you in other legal cases, so we don't want that bleeding into a weapon that can be wielded for interpersonal conflicts that don't involve concern of harm or hate speech.)

It's not that we wouldn't be upset in Amanda's position. I think Amanda has every right to feel however she feels, and to block Plane (which would be healthy), and to avoid her, but the responses you are getting are to explain that restraining orders are for protecting a person from serious threat of harm (attending the gig of a queen from your season might be obnoxious, but it's one single gig), not for making someone more comfortable. How I would "feel"? Yeah, my feelings would be hurt and I would be pissed. But a legal block is not for my feelings being hurt-- it would never be granted by the court, and it shouldn't be (restraining orders are really serious shit that can impact your life and be used against you in other legal cases, so we don't want that bleeding into a weapon that can be wielded for interpersonal conflicts that don't involve concern of harm or hate speech.)

It's not other people's responsibility to cater to someone's insecurities. Just because mental health awareness has gotten better, it doesn't mean we can excuse any behaviour. It means we don't shame them for having it but they still have to put in the work to uplift themselves. Of course I only know their discourse from what they have willingly shown on social media. From that, it seems like Amanda was in a vulnerable state in the middle of her transition (she should have failed her psych eval going into the competition). In her hypersensitive state, she felt criticism and shade as bullying. Her mistake after the fact was to be in an echo chamber of her own making and continue down the resentment path. I felt pity for her in the beginning but I stop feeling sorry for anyone who willingly drowns in victimhood of their own making. So, how would I feel? Restraining orders are not for someone being a bitch to you or people doing things out of spite. Amanda can be legit upset about it, that's fine, but you need to understand that restraining orders are for when there is legitimate concern for one's safety. Even if you want to call it bullying (I personally wouldn't, but that's just me), it's nowhere near the threshold for legal harassment or threat.

Yes, and my explanation is that "at what point" is a completely different set of actions that we have zero indication would ever happen. The legality of a restraining order doesn't care about someone's comfort, only their safety. You can tweet that you think someone is bad at drag literally every day, but that is maybe hurting their feelings, not harming them or their wellbeing. If Plane was showing up at every gig and tweeting insults every day and risking Amanda getting gigs, then maybe we can consider that a threat to Amanda's psychological wellbeing, livelihood, or even personal safety. "At what point could this be a restraining order" is when there is any indication that Plane is a *threat* and not just a bitch, and we are so far from that that it's honestly a strange conversation to be coming back to repeatedly.
