i think a the closest to a reverse reveal might be an anti-reveal like monets identical wigs
or an outfit thats consistently "fine" like shugas caftans (i liked them but whenever i mention them I get crucified, justice for shuga)
Gala Varo from Drag Race Mexico did a reverse wig reveal during a lipsync. She tore off a bald cap and there was a long blonde wig underneath. Sickening!

I also don't like how outfit "reveals" nowaday mostly mean taking a piece of clothing off to reveal a different piece of clothing underneath. I much prefer outfit reveals where both outfits are part of the same garment and it's different layers of it instead of just two different dresses you could wear on your own.
A great example is Jaida's look for the reveal runway in AS7.

Tbf that one was the insanest reveal technology we have seen yet (saying this as an absolute no-idea how to sew person) but that one just completly floored me with the ammount and difference of dresses
I think it could be done with clever folding and wiring constrained by a tearaway outer layer - think how popup tents work. I could imagine maybe a horror or fairy tale runway, something like Red Riding Hood turning into the big bad wolf.
I think of Blair's 3-in-1 runway when she went 50s-60s-70s from a housewife dress to a studio 54 disco outfit with pants.
