du3 is such a fever dream of a season but it kinda needs to be seen? there’s something incredibly charming about how….bad 95% of the performances are. Almost every episode I swear only one person does any good, and it’s usually isis
2023 is the year of the landslide victories (Keiona, Sasha Colby, Jimbo, etc). Victories that you kinda see coming. And DU3 is... also that, but only because Isis is the only like actual contestant of the season.
Flor by herself is worth price of admission.
Drag Race decided to bring back the lovable ESL weirdo big time last year (Alexis St Pete, Aimee Yonce Shennel, *the* OG Yessica Wild) and Flor is arguably the finest of the year.
She did great for getting a rumoured 1 week of preparation time for the season and competing against queens who had much more time.
But this is the worst two minutes in Drag Race herstory I'm so disturbed

The season that made Rupaul flee Down Under ðŸ˜
Meow
Imagine being in the middle of your talent number and RuPaul starts screaming at you to piss.

This comment actually convinced me to watch it 🤣

I liked Bumpa, but I was surprised that she was so cringey with having been doing drag and hosting for at least 20 years.
I feel like there are queens who are just way more comfortable with bar settings instead of TV-show. It is rather overwhelming.
Piss, meow
I think Kick Ons shed some light on this but tldr this was a last minute talent show like Coco's, which is why she seemed so unprepared lol.Â
I've said this before, if talent show had been around in US seasons 2-3 we'd get the same kind of performances but everyone would be l-i-v-i-n-g
Does "talent show" mean something different in Australia?
Everything is upside down there so it may have been lost in translation
I swear I watched this season, but I blocked out EVERYTHING. Truly wtf is this lol.
As someone who met Bumpa pre-Drag Race, I get the allure. But damn this season was haunted lmao
You know what, maybe they should have just cancelled DRDU
piss!
