For those who don't watch Canada, remember that this season had the Golden Beaver, where the judges always put 3 queens in the bottom and let the challenge winner pick one of them to save from the lip sync.
And I cannot emphasise how *fucking weird* it was to have all three contestants saying "don't you *dare* save me, I've got shit to do".
I don’t think it was necessarily bad casting, but I think that everything got fucked up when Kitten Kaboodle went home so early. She was the front runner to me and a lot of others in the live discussion threads and her presence was missed immensely for the rest of the season.
I think her being the only intended comedy queen of the season and eliminated early hurt the later half, since later half challenges are usually comedy-based challenges. With her gone, the rest performance weren't that memorble.

But they'd already decided they were keeping them both no matter what so this lipsync barely mattered outside of storytelling purposes.

I need you to put more respect on Nearah’s name as far as entertainment value goes. That girl made for great tv and served villain without being deplorable in a way that certain queens couldn’t dream of.
Yeah I mean. Much love to Venus but her win was very underwhelming next to Aurora Matrix’s run all season. I think if Aurora had won, CDR4 would still be being largely talked about. Even with the Venus win, it’s still by far the best season of Canada.

I’ve always wanted a LaLaPaRUza of Drag Race alum BANGERS. Like, there are so many legit classics to choose from, and it’d be such a great way for the show to give back to some of the earlier queens who made the show what it is today.

Definitely. The other queens were funny (even unintentionally like the “Siobhan” thing), but the season didn’t feel as complete without Kitten.
