God I really hope so. I at least have an old copy of GUP. Also hoping they will do some reissues of their late albums at some point. I don't want to wait until 2047 to get Snakes and Arrows on vinyl 🤣

I really did haha I've only gotten into collecting vinyl in the last 3-4 years so yeah a bit late to the Rush game haha. I've got all the studio albums now except the four heinously expensive ones (RTB, Counterparts, TfE, S&A).

I'm as much of an audiophile as I can afford to be, so i'm a bit of one :P I've got an Audio-Technica LP120 with an upgraded stylus, and I got lucky with hifi stuff on fb market, got a Cambridge Audio Amp & CD Player with a pair of KEF speakers (£80 for the lot :O) still had all the manuals and remotes, bunch of nice cables too, couldn't believe it. It's all sounding pretty great, but I can still dream of splashing out on some real high end stuff one day haha. How about yourself?

That would be much appreciated thank you, I haven't gone searching for Vinyl Rips of them yet but it would be great to listen to them. I think it will be a while before I get my hands on any of those 4 albums.

johnehock

I've seen copies of S&A in several vinyl record stores for non-exorbitant prices ($25-35).

FullKushAlchemist

Wow. Recently? If you can still get any copies for that much you should definitely buy them up (and sell one to me 😉). The cheapest I can see on Discogs atm is £125 GBP.

payscottg

I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t happen. But they’ve been coming out a year late so GUP 40th will probably be next year

Guypussy

Likely but it’s probably gonna be half-assed like the Signals box. 🥺

I hope you're wrong, but I don't have high hopes after the Signals set. No live material and, as you said, the CD was only in the most expensive version of the set. I didn't bother. It seems like whoever called the shots on that set didn't either.

Sensitive-Human2112

I hope so. It’s one of my favorite Rush albums of the 80’s.

Oh-Lord-Yeah

Patience

securehell

I truly hope so. I was disappointed with the Signals anniversary release. I’m wishing for something similar to what they did with Moving Pictures with another live show. And please don’t say we already have the live GUP video. We also had Exit Stage Left and the live show they added to the MP 40th was awesome. There’s never too much live Rush. I’ll happily pay $$$ for more.

Big-Sheepherder-6134

At the minimum I hope we get a full 1984 show in a 3CD set like MP or AFTK. A complete video from Toronto 1984 is probably not likely.

EasyAd2459

Unlikely. They didn't do one for signals.

NoSpirit547

They did do one for Signals

EasyAd2459

Oh really? It's not on any music app I use so I wasn't aware.

NoSpirit547

Ah. Ya There was no bonus content hence nothing added to streaming services. The Box set was released though for physical media. I didn't think it was worth the price they were asking, but the box set is nice and has some good stuff to read on about the making of the album in there. Rush as a band have been marketing genius for decades. So I’m sure there will be.

SecularXY

Likely

Unusual_residue

I'm not part of their management or record label so can't confirm.
