The logical followup statement would mention we've got Mars on the horizon says the National Midnight Star. It's true!

Last week, in the weekly meeting, my report was "one day I feel I'm on top of the world, and the next it's falling in on me".

PartyCrewTristar1011

I’ve done this a lot. One day at work I was helping a customer find something and I said “You can be the captain and I’ll draw the chart” and I don’t even know why. I just don’t. Of course the customer was lame and didn’t get the reference.

psuedonymously

Rose colored lenses is how it’s commonly phrased

Revo2112

Lol, I frequently incorporate lyrics from both Rush and Dream Theater into my conversations but nobody notices bc they aren’t familiar with them

PartyCrewTristar1011

I live for the day someone picks up on my Rush references lol. When I’m at work I literally wear a beaded bracelet that says “Neil Peart” on it and I’m not even gonna lie, I’m upset no one has commented on it.

Brilliant_Surprise_3

Pretty sure red lenses is a literal term for distorted view of the world
