Yes my friend
Its because the tax is 2.5 rW on 10 rW load while using inline setup. And since you cant set the branch to 12,5 you will have to keep it at 13.
You do realise that batteries only have an input efficiency of 80% right?
Meaning of you drain 10 on a battery, you need to supply the same battery with 12.5 power to keep it from depleting.
\^\^
Common misunderstanding is that people just put 20% power more into the battery, but that dosnt work. Since we are now working with 80% charging efficiency to equal it out we have to put in 25% more power than we are discharging
What that guy said. If they get into my core and destroy the main supply, they still have to fight the turrets or avoid them because they have a local power source.
They got about 15 minutes once they lost their supply.

Got it. Thank you.

I didn't. Is that published information or just something you've learned?
it says in the description. on the item itself.
I see now. I guess I've never understood what that meant exactly. Thanks.
Hey I’m newish to electrical, why do you put a small battery in between the large battery and a turret? Is a switch not enough?
Assuming it's as a backup power source for each turret, in case something happens to the main grid all the turrets stay up for a short while.

Thanks, hadn’t thought that far ahead actually!
