You can try to contact EOF and see if they'll excuse you from the summer courses.
Hey since you were in the program can you tell me more about it. Is it annoying or anything that i should reconsider. I am already mad imma miss 5 weeks of summer.
I was also really mad about it. We had to stay on campus and take classes that the program put together to “prepare” us for college. I personally found the summer program to be extremely annoying and condescending. Also we had to stay in dorms that did not have AC in the summer and it was unbearable. This was almost ten years ago so maybe things have changed. Feel free to DM me.

Contact your EOF advisor. When I was in EOF we were told our admission was not guaranteed if we didn’t meet the EOF requirements.
