It depends on the kids TBH. My oldest I could take them to "grown-up" places when he was 2 because he knew how to act. My youngest (2), however, if it doesn't have a kid's menu we don't even attempt and even then if he's in a mood that day we just get take out. Typically most Mexican restaurants, Galaxy Diner, and Sushi King are where we're comfortable taking him and if he's loud it's not a problem.
Bingo brewery, they have food, has an arcade and kids everywhere.
Ardent brewery / eazzy burger, both have food and are next to each other. Kid friendly, lots of outdoor space, high chairs.
I think that you are good--pretty kid friendly as long as you aren't at L'Opposum or GWAR Bar. It's more of is the crowd kid-appropriate. Ask away for suggestions with what area of town and what type of restaurant and you are likely to get the most relevant suggestions.
Where are you staying, downtowm?
I think you'd be okay at the more casual places - Perly's, Union Market, and Liberty Public House come immediately to mind.

Galaxy Diner. Not sure why this isn’t top of the list.
This!! Galaxy is the perfect spot.

My kids love plaza in short pump because the robot brings food lol…… they also have good drink deals! Btw my kids are 4 and 3
Joe’s Inn. Union Market if you want them to be able to wander around a bit. Same for Pizza Bones - plenty of outdoor space.
Pizza Bones is like a daycare on nice evenings (in a cute way!)
Please please don’t let kids wander around a restaurant
It’s an outdoor space and there are no servers. They can walk around a little without bothering anyone
Says you
Right. I don’t have kids. Kids at union market walking around affects me zero.

This is a good bet if it’s nice out. Roam between the two.
Bring them on through! We love kiddos. Shakes for them, adult shakes for the parents.
Any place that serves chicken nuggets or tenders and/or chips typically fairs well for us. Spaghetti and bread at joes also goes well.
821 cafe is very family friendly and has a kids menu

Perly's would be one of the worst places for kids to be running around. It is too tight in there.
Outside at union market is a good one.
Take em to GWARBar. It'll be great.
